7: Chapter 7 Third Floor Private Room

Inside the semi-open booth, the crisp sound of shaking dice cups mingled incessantly with the giggles and chatter of college girls.

Shen Du rested his chin on one hand, watching with feigned indifference as the two girls from his department rolled the dice in front of him.

Dim, crisscrossing laser lights swept over his features from time to time.

Although he appeared not to be looking, his peripheral vision had already precisely captured Wei Ziang threading his way from the other side of the dance floor.

Following behind Wei Ziang were three eye-catching women.

The woman on the left had big wavy hair, flaming red lips, and a black form-fitting hip-hugging dress that outlined an incredibly aggressive, mature-woman aura;

The one in the middle wore a deep-V sequined miniskirt, her gait swaying and graceful, so sexy it was as if she could suck one's gaze right in;

And the girl on the right was wearing a pure white high-waisted pleated skirt, her makeup clear and light, radiating a lovable, innocent charm in every gesture.

The figures and beauty of these three would easily meet the standards of third-tier celebrities or professional models, even in an outside talent agency.

Shen Du held his whiskey glass, gently swirling the ice at the bottom.

Without the slightest waver, he continued to sip his drink with composure.

It wasn't until Wei Ziang led the three of them straight to the booth and stood still that he paused.

That mature allure belonging to veterans of the nightlife, along with their glamorous aura, instantly spread throughout the booth.

The few naive college girls who had been laughing and surrounding Shen Du suddenly acted as if they had encountered a natural predator; they involuntarily shrank their shoulders and retreated to the sides, awkwardly clearing out a large space.

Only then did Shen Du gently place his glass on the marble tabletop, creating a crisp, light sound.

He slowly raised his head, his gaze unhesitatingly sweeping over the three women in a careful appraisal.

Then, he leaned back against the sofa, looked at Wei Ziang standing to the side, and spoke in a calm tone: "Young Master Wei, who are these three?"

Facing Shen Du's inquiry, Wei Ziang suppressed the stifled frustration of having his scene crashed, forcing a somewhat stiff look of enthusiasm onto his face.

Without wasting words, he waved his hand at the three women behind him and gestured toward Shen Du, issuing an order: "This is Young Master Shen. You three will entertain him well today."

After saying this, Wei Ziang turned his head to look at Shen Du, deliberately raising his voice to explain: "Since Young Master Shen is spending so much today, I, Wei, must show some courtesy."

He pretended to glance at the naive college girls around them and continued: "Didn't we say when we came that just drinking this watery, bland alcohol is boring? I specially called some people over for you."

"The bill is already paid. Have a good time tonight, Young Master Shen!"

As if desperately trying to hide something, Wei Ziang hurriedly finished these pleasantries and didn't stay for even a minute longer.

He immediately turned, dove into the crowd, and headed off without looking back to find another booth where his classmates were drinking.

Shen Du leaned on the sofa, watching Wei Ziang's retreating figure.

He then withdrew his gaze and slowly swept it over the three people standing before him.

Beneath their exquisite exteriors lay an unmistakable familiarity with the nightlife.

Looking at the slightly sultry air about the three women, and the seasoned, seductive manner radiating from their bones, Shen Du didn't need to think twice to know that their purpose was definitely not just to accompany him for a drink.

They were quite attractive; Wei Ziang had spent quite a fortune this time.

Shen Du sneered inwardly. Since they had been delivered to his doorstep, he would play along to the end.

Just as the three women exchanged glances, their eyes meeting in preparation to launch their offensive, and were about to press against Shen Du from both sides...

Shen Du didn't give them any room to deploy those practiced routines.

He suddenly raised his hand.

With a practiced movement, he grabbed the slender waist of the sexy woman closest to him and pulled her into his embrace.

He directly pressed her down onto the leather sofa beside him, instantly disrupting the tacit rhythm of the three women.

The woman clearly hadn't expected this young "Young Master" to be so seasoned in his methods, and a flash of astonishment crossed her eyes.

But relying on her high level of professionalism, she immediately went limp the next second, leaning into Shen Du's embrace and pressing against him.

Shen Du, however, did not look down at the woman in his arms, nor did his right hand, which was holding her waist, make any further moves.

He raised his other hand and waved it casually in the air.

The waiter, who had previously received a thousand-yuan tip and had busily scattered the hundred thousand in cash, had been cleverly waiting not far away, not daring to leave.

In fact, his gaze had not left this god of wealth for a single moment.

Seeing Shen Du wave, the waiter instantly moved as if spring-loaded, casting aside other guests and trotting all the way to the booth.

He bowed extremely low, his tone filled with respect and eagerness: "Young Master Shen, what are your orders? Is there anything you need me to do?"

Shen Du frowned slightly, appearing a bit annoyed by the deafening heavy metal music surrounding them.

He patted the soft, boneless shoulder of the woman in his arms, signaling her to behave for a moment.

Then, he looked at the respectfully bowing waiter and spoke in a flat tone: "Hmm, it's a bit noisy here."

He paused, his gaze sweeping over the other two women standing in front of him, and continued: "I'd like to find a quieter place to catch up with these ladies."

In his past life, Shen Du had been brought to Lanting Mansion by Wei Ziang more than once, so he naturally knew where the real trump cards were hidden in this old Western-style house.

With a normal expression, he naturally threw out the request that only a very small number of core players in the circle would know: "Is there any empty private room on the third floor right now?"

Shen Du clearly saw the waiter's expression change upon hearing the words "third floor."

As a manipulator who frequented this place in his past life, Shen Du knew all too well what the third floor represented.

It was Lanting Mansion's true private, absolute domain.

Without black-gold level identity verification, an ordinary person couldn't even touch the exclusive elevator button to go upstairs, even if they held a suitcase full of money.

But faced with the lingering awe of him having just tossed down one hundred thousand in cash without blinking an eye, this waiter clearly dared not voice a refusal directly.

The waiter swallowed, his brain working at high speed, struggling to maintain a respectful tone as he replied: "Young Master Shen, the third floor... generally, people really aren't allowed up there. But since you've asked, please wait a moment, I will go to the manager's desk and ask for permission for you right now!"

Shen Du leaned on the sofa, his gaze crossing the dance floor, watching the waiter trot all the way to the manager's office at the innermost part of the second floor.

The door wasn't closed tightly.

Through the half-open gap, one could vaguely see a middle-aged man sitting inside, wearing a dark suit, with a conspicuous scar at the corner of his eye.

The waiter reported something urgently into that man's ear.

Soon, the Scarred Manager stood up and walked to the one-way glass of the manager's office.

Through the noisy laser lights, their gazes met obscurely in the air for a brief moment.

Shen Du naturally kept one arm around the woman under Sister Hong, his whole body sunken into the sofa in a relaxed posture.

Facing this scene of debauched madness, the air of strolling leisurely without any flaws about him was thus displayed without reservation under the other party's scrutiny.

He knew very well that in a place like this, the other party wanted to judge whether he was just a greenhorn putting on a brave face or if he truly had substance.

After observing for just over ten seconds, Shen Du saw the Scarred Manager behind the glass withdraw his gaze, clearly having made a final judgment in his heart.

That man nodded at the waiter outside the door and gave some instructions.

Immediately after, the waiter's heart jolted; he turned around as if granted amnesty and trotted all the way back to Shen Du's booth.

"Young Master Shen, the manager has granted you special privileges!"

The waiter ran up to him, his voice filled with even more obvious reverence: "Third floor, 666, the 'Flowers Bloom, Moon Full' private room.

The room charge is fifty thousand; snacks and fruit platters are waived, alcohol is charged separately.

Please follow me!"
