359: Peng Zu Heritage

The four people entered it, and felt the scenery before their eyes suddenly change.

Above, Kunpeng soared; below, Chenghuang neighed.

There were Dragons in the sea and Flood Dragons in the water.

As far as the eye could see, the sea met the sky, and mountains connected to mountains.

There were people clad in beast hides and leaves.

Many beasts were enormous, ancient, and rare!

It was a vivid scene of Human Race life in ancient times.

Qianqiu was stunned by this sight!

Could such a place truly exist in the world?

Could it be that those before her were ancient survivors?

The Yao Sisters, however, remained unmoved.

After a long while, Gu Liangyuan sighed softly, uttering the word “Break,” and the scene before them suddenly vanished without a trace.

In its place were several ordinary mountain peaks.

Seeing Qianqiu cast a questioning gaze, Gu Liangyuan slowly spoke:

“It’s merely a wisp of a Heavenly Immortal’s lingering thought; these things are all scenes he witnessed firsthand.”

Qianqiu, not understanding, asked, “But he’s just a Heavenly Immortal; how could his obsession last so long?”

Before Gu Liangyuan could reply, the Yao Sisters behind him felt indignant.

What did she mean, “just a Heavenly Immortal”?

Becoming a Heavenly Immortal was very difficult, alright!

Gu Liangyuan perceived the two women’s thoughts and replied with a smile:

“Becoming a Human Immortal grants a Lifespan of 180,000 years; becoming a Heavenly Immortal grants a Lifespan of 720,000 years.”

“If not for the Heavenly Dao’s suppression, a Heavenly Immortal could easily destroy a Small World. Do you still think Heavenly Immortals are weak now?”

Qianqiu understood. The reason she thought Heavenly Immortals were weak was because her Master could easily subdue them.

Turns out, this didn't mean Heavenly Immortals were weak; it meant her Master was stronger!

At the same time, she also witnessed the dangers of the Immortal Tomb. If it were her alone, even if she luckily found an entrance, she would be confused by this illusion and unable to proceed deeper.

Qianqiu bowed, “This Disciple understands.”

Gu Liangyuan hummed lightly, his eyes slightly closed, and his powerful Divine Sense instantly extended, sweeping across this realm.

The Yao Sisters knew that Gu Liangyuan was giving them Face.

Although they were Heavenly Immortals, Heavenly Immortals from ancient times and Heavenly Immortals of today were two entirely different concepts.

The two women had lived in the deep palace for a long time, naturally knowing more than ordinary people.

According to what they knew, in ancient times, great sects dominated the world!

All sorts of Divine Abilities and Magic Treasures emerged endlessly.

There were even records of Heavenly Immortals defeating True Immortals and even Golden Immortals on multiple occasions.

They were by no means comparable to them.

They had initially thought Gu Liangyuan was a dark-bellied and domineering Master, but now it seemed he was quite thoughtful.

Gu Liangyuan suddenly opened his eyes:

“Found it!”

Before his voice faded, he grabbed Qianqiu and vanished from the spot.

When they reappeared, they were already inside a valley.

Inside the valley, weeds grew everywhere, reaching a person's height.

Gu Liangyuan, with Qianqiu, hovered above the weeds, surveying their surroundings.

The figures of the Yao Sisters appeared shortly after, and following Gu Liangyuan’s gaze, they also looked around.

They saw four stone-carved Baxia, one at the base of each of the four surrounding mountains.

Each Baxia carried a stone tablet on its back.

However, the inscriptions on the stone tablets differed, reading: “Cuisine,” “Guidance,” “Chamber,” and “Nourishment,” respectively.

The four characters were ancient and grand, and upon seeing them, everyone felt a vast, primordial aura wash over them.

On the mountain peaks, Spiritual Qi swirled, and each peak had a magnificent palace, resplendent in gold.

At a glance, it was extraordinary.

But Gu Liangyuan ignored the splendor of the mountaintops and instead stared at these stone tablets:

“A realm within a realm, interesting.”

Saying this, he infused the Law of space into the stone tablet inscribed with “Chamber.”

Immediately, a spatial node appeared before the stone tablet.

Gu Liangyuan calculated with his Innate Divination, and it was Di Tian Tai!

Heaven and Earth intermingle, bringing great fortune and prosperity!

With no further concerns in his heart, he pulled Qianqiu and stepped into it.

The Yao Sisters followed closely behind.

Upon entering this space again, the scenery before them changed once more.

They saw hundreds of miles of peach blossoms, with the evening glow filling the sky.

Beneath the peach orchard, a group of women, clad in thin veils, played within the peach grove.

Their movements were flirtatious, their eyes full of affection.

Between their actions, glimpses of spring scenery were faintly visible, utterly captivating.

Gu Liangyuan, seeing this, scoffed:

“A mere illusion array, can it stop me?”

“Break!”

One breath.

Two breaths.

Three breaths passed, but the scene before him showed no change whatsoever.

Instead, Gu Liangyuan’s loud shout attracted the attention of these women.

“Men!?”

“Sisters, look, isn’t that the legendary man?”

“It is!”

“Wonderful, we can finally leave!”

The women laughed and rushed towards Gu Liangyuan, completely without any concept of separation between men and women.

Gu Liangyuan, seeing this, frowned slightly and instinctively moved to use a Divine Ability to stop them.

Yet, he suddenly realized that the Laws he had comprehended were completely ineffective here.

Behind him, Qianqiu and the other two also subtly changed their expressions, clearly having noticed the same.

Gu Liangyuan immediately changed his strategy, circulating the Chaos Qi within his body.

With a flick of his sleeve, he used a Divine Ability to draw a circle on the ground, firmly trapping these women.

After a careful perception, Gu Liangyuan was surprised to find that these women were all Mortals, without any cultivation whatsoever.

But as Mortals, how could they have survived in this Immortal Tomb for so long?

With a thought, Gu Liangyuan cast an investigative spell towards the women:

Name: Ji Qiang

Spiritual Root: High Grade Heavenly Spiritual Root

Cultivation: None

Physique: Innate Charm Physique

Name: Xin Hao

Spiritual Root: High Grade Heavenly Spiritual Root

Bloodline: White Tiger Bloodline

Cultivation: None

...

Gu Liangyuan looked at each one, his eyes gleaming.

Without exception, these women all possessed Heavenly Spiritual Roots!

And all of them had special Physiques!

If he brought them to Forget-Love Peak, how much strength feedback would they provide him!

After checking them one by one, Gu Liangyuan again turned his gaze to the seemingly ordinary peach trees:

Name: Flat Peach Sapling

Effect: A peach forest cultivated by the Ancient Immortal Peng Zu from Flat Peach pits. Eating it can prolong Lifespan.

Peng Zu!

Hearing this name, Gu Liangyuan suddenly realized.

Peng Zu, an Ancient Immortal!

He once taught the Su Nu the Art of the Inner Chamber, and Su Nu then taught the Yellow Emperor.

He was also known as a symbol of longevity.

Legend has it that Peng Zu had four arts: cuisine, guiding techniques, Qi absorption techniques, and the art of the inner chamber.

Didn't the four stone tablets in front of the mountain gate correspond exactly to these four arts?

However, Gu Liangyuan did not believe this was Peng Zu’s tomb, as upon first entering this tomb, he had indeed clearly sensed the aura of a Heavenly Immortal.

Then there was only one explanation for the origin of this tomb: the tomb of Peng Zu’s descendant!

At the same time, Gu Liangyuan also understood why these Mortals could live so long; it was all thanks to the Flat Peaches prolonging their lives.

Although they were saplings, they were still unparalleled existences in the heavens and on earth today!

Having figured out the key, Gu Liangyuan waved his hand, releasing the women.

Although they had been imprisoned by Gu Liangyuan, these women showed no anger; after being freed, they instead looked at Gu Liangyuan with alluring eyes.

The leading beautiful woman slightly pulled down the thin veil on her shoulder:

“Young Master, have you come to learn the Art of the Inner Chamber?”

The charm in her voice and the softness of her movements made Gu Liangyuan’s heart tremble.

He clearly sensed that these women were not using any charm techniques, yet they still ignited a fire in his heart.

Silently circulating the Supreme Forgetfulness Scripture, he forcefully suppressed the desire in his heart. Gu Liangyuan ignored the woman’s question and instead asked:

“I have a female Disciple who entered this place. I wonder where she is now?”

The woman, hearing this, chuckled lightly, covering her mouth.

She was able to ignore Gu Liangyuan’s pressure, quickly walked a few steps to stand before him, and pouted:

“Kiss me, and I’ll tell you.”
