243: My phone was stolen, please take a day off.

As the title says, I just went to the riverbank to write my novel using my tablet, and then my phone was stolen.

As everyone knows, my tablet only connects to WiFi. Without internet, my communication was cut off. I couldn't even make the three-kilometer walk home.

I asked several people for help before a kind couple finally assisted me, allowing me to call my family to come pick me up.

I am currently at the police station filing a report. Tomorrow, I have to buy a new phone, report my SIM card as lost, and handle all these trivial matters.

My mind is a bit of a mess. As for the update, I will see how things go tomorrow. Please just consider this a day off...

(I hope everyone stays safe and doesn't end up like me. It is best to memorize your family's phone numbers and carry some cash. That way, at least you won't be as miserable as I am.)
