Chapter 149 149: Failure Father.

Lily smiled and Leo was happy, then he began to feed her the noodles while she went through different nail paints. After a few minutes, she took a deep breath and held Leo's hand. She looked at the young man with sparkling eyes, and Leo suddenly shivered. His heart felt cold, and the next moment, his dread became his reality, "Baba, give me your hand."

Leo wished he could chop his hand off, when the system said, 'Ping: Host, your daughter wishes to style your hands with nail paints. Accept the task and you will be rewarded with a fortune card.'

Leo nodded and let her grab his hand and then she placed it under the camera. After a few seconds, Lily exclaimed, "Baba, see, your hands look so pretty."

Leo looked over and he was left aghast from the situation. However, he didn't say anything to Lily. However, this whole time, the young man didn't stop feeding her the noodles, when she finished eating it all, Leo asked, "Love, shall we go upstairs? You have watched enough screen for the time being."

Lily pouted, but she was sensible and knew that the mobile could harm her vision so she gave the phone back and they left the cafeteria after bidding farewell to the staff members. After a few moments, they came to Leo's office, and Lily had dozed off as soon as they came inside the elevator.

Leo couldn't bear to disturb her so he carried her around on his shoulder, and sat down on the couch like that. After a few minutes, he found himself drowsy as well. Gradually, both father and daughter fell asleep while embracing each other, and Lily woke up after a couple of hours.

Leo also opened his eyes and they both smiled at each other as Lily said, "Baba, you are the best pillow."

Leo chuckled and replied, "You are the best plushie."

The father and daughter pair pampered each other, they were basically wasted in love for each other. The door was knocked, and the two of them calmed down a little, as Leo said, "Come in."

Snow came inside and looked at them as she asked, "What is going on here?"

Leo smiled and replied to her that they were just playing before they got ready to go back home. They all got inside the car, and then Kyle drove them back home, where Lily met Symphony and they began to practice their piano skills.

At the same time, Snow introduced everyone to Clara, who had been training under the guidance of an old veteran butler. The family had a sumptuous dinner, and Leo flexed his cooking skills once again.

Lily sat in his lap to eat her food from the same plate as his, and Snow sighed as she said, "Lily, what shall we do when you get too old to sit in Baba's lap?"

Lily opened her eyes wide and asked, "What do you mean? I will not get fat."

Leo chuckled and Snow said, "Not fat, love, but when you grow older, how would you sit in his lap?"


Everyone looked at Lily, they knew what Snow was talking about, but they wanted to see what Lily would say, and the little girl thought for a bit before she said, "I will decide about that when the time comes. For now, I am Baba's little princess."

Leo chimed in at the apt timing, "Yes, we will see to it when my baby grows up. Also, if you wish to sit on my lap, see, my other lap is free, and Lily doesn't mind sharing space."

Snow blushed a little, and the ladies were embarrassed a little, but Anastasia chuckled and said, "Well, the offer is not bad. Rarely there are men who would shower their daughters and wives with equal amounts of love."

The atmosphere was jolly, and the meal came to an end. Clara and Symphony left the place in a car driven by one of the guards. While Leo put Lily to sleep, and kissed her forehead before he came back to his own room.

After a few minutes, Snow asked, "What were you saying outside?"

Leo smiled and Snow turned over swiftly to climb up on his lap and pinned him under her, as she pinched his chin and asked, "What was that about?"

Leo was surprised, and then he smirked as he said, "Why, you wanted to do it?"

Snow leaned in and asked as she stared back in her eyes, "You wish."

The couple was about to indulge themselves when the door of their room was knocked lightly. Leo frowned, and he stood up from the bed as he walked over coldly, and asked after opening the door, "This better be good, Jock."

Jock smiled bitterly and said, "Sir, there is an old gent out there by the name, Hector Marlin."

Leo was shocked, and the next moment, Snow appeared beside him and asked, "Are you sure, it is Hector Marlin?"

Jock nodded, and Snow said, "Move, I need to inform Ma about this."

That said, she walked out of the room while tying up her robe and the young man asked, "Is he alone?"

Jock shook his head and said, "There are five people with him, all trained and armed. The men are keeping a distance from them, but the air is almost tangible."

Leo nodded and said, "Come, let us greet the old bastard."

Jock was surprised, and then he followed Leo outside the house. He could tell that the person who came to the door was not friendly.

Leo stood before an old man wearing a simple but exquisite black tuxedo. Leo was wearing a casual white t-shirt and a grey pajama, as he asked, "What caused the forgotten noble to knock on my door at this hour?"

The old man had a face covered with wrinkles, but his eyes were very sharp. His features kind of depicted cruelty, he said, "I am here to see my wife."

Leo smiled and said, "You mean, ex-wife. Your marriage with my Mother-in-law has been dissolved and this house and the land belongs to me. So, unless you have a really good reason, kindly, fuck off."

Hector narrowed his eyes, and the next moment, a guard standing beside him charged at Leo, who smiled and tilted his head to the side to avoid a punch and the next moment, a clap echoed in the surroundings followed by a thud.

The guard had already fallen to the ground, with a red palm print on his face. Even in the dim lighting they could all see the impression, and Leo said coldly, "Next time anyone tries to act smart, Jock, turn them into sieves."

Jock replied, "Yes, Sir."

The next moment, dozens of black cold sticks were aimed at them. The guards behind Hector Marlins were shocked. When they entered the country, they had to take off their undergarments to get through the security check, and all the security agencies (mercenary companies) refused to deliver weapons.

Hound was the title that was used for Hector. The old man frowned and Anastasia asked, "Tell me what do you want?"

Hector Marlin looked at Leo and said, "What have you done to my daughter?"

Leo smiled and said, "Why should I tell you?"

Hector Marlin clenched his fist and asked after grinding his teeth, "What do you want?"

Leo shook his head and said, "You don't have anything to offer to me, apart from your life. Had it not been for the fact that if the people from the immigration department didn't see you going back, they would come here sniffing, I would have beaten you to death right here with my own two hands.

Old cunt, you dared to send those swines you bred after my child and wife. Yet you have the gall to stand here before me? That impotent psychopath that you raised, died a long time ago, I burned his corpse and buried in the forest.

Anastasia was shocked, this was the first time she was looking at Leo acting like this. He was disrespecting Hector deliberately. She wanted to step up, but Snow pulled her back.

The people shivered, Leo was angry as he looked at Hector and said, "Failure."
