Xu Chunliang followed her to the car and took out his phone to check the time; it was just eight o'clock. Mei Ru Xue said, "I have a meeting at nine-thirty. I'll drop you off at the urban and rural construction management office first. I've already talked to the person in charge there, and the Weishan Island Hospital matters will be expedited. I reckon the paperwork will be done soon."

Xu Chunliang said, "Thanks, I'll treat you to a nice meal later."

After waiting for about fifteen minutes, Dong Changhao and his assistant walked toward the parking lot. Zhang Haibin threw his cigarette on the ground and extinguished it, walked up to them, and the three stood in the parking lot discussing something, then got into the car.

Xu Chunliang hid behind a tree and took a few photos. After the car left, he came out of his hiding spot.

Xu Chunliang sensed something was amiss with this incident, so he stopped a taxi and followed them. Along the way, he sent those photos to Dean Zhao Feiyang. It was Zhao Feiyang who initially decided to let Zhang Haibin off the hook, and now with such developments, he must make Zhao Feiyang regret his decision.

Not long after, Zhao Feiyang called, asking where the photos were taken.

Xu Chunliang briefly described the situation on his side.

Zhao Feiyang said, "I just insisted on appointing you as the director of the Weishan Island Branch against all odds. Do you know how much pressure and criticism I've endured for this matter?"

Zhao Feiyang said, "Show everyone your capabilities. Prove that I made the right choice."

After ending the call, Zhao Feiyang immediately issued an appointment, officially appointing Xu Chunliang as the director of the Weishan Island Branch. Zhao Feiyang believed he had to take action. He went to the Hematology Department to visit Tong Guangsheng, who was hospitalized there, once again.
