343: A mosquito is writing like crazy!

A matter of life and death!

In Su Chen's compound eye vision, next to that Ancient bronze mirror, an open box of Rouge was strikingly red.

An utterly absurd idea, yet the only one that could break the deadlock at this moment, exploded in his mind like a clap of thunder!

[Got it!]

Without another moment of hesitation!

Su Chen flapped his wings vigorously, his tiny body turning into a black line invisible to the naked eye as he left the mirror's edge and dove headfirst into that box of thick, oily Rouge!

"Buzz..."

His six slender long legs were instantly covered in the thick paste, and every wingbeat became incredibly heavy.

A fragrance so intense it nearly made him, a grown man, want to vomit, forced its way into his senses.

[Damn, this is way too greasy! It's sticking like crazy! Next time I must make her switch to a more refreshing brand!]

Complaints aside, he couldn't care about that anymore!

Su Chen used all his strength as a Mosquito, dragging his six "long legs" that felt as if they were filled with lead, and shakily took to the air once more.

Like a fighter jet about to spiral out of control and crash, he finally landed with a "splat" with pinpoint accuracy on the cold surface of the Ancient bronze mirror!

Then he began the most shameful and desperate "creation" since his Transmigration.

He was like a clumsy, drunken calligrapher.

He used his six legs, which completely refused to obey him, as his brush and ink.

On that smooth, cold mirror surface, he crawled, turned, lifted his "brush," and set his "brush" down at high speed!

He was going to write!

Using a Mosquito's body dipped in the Empress's Rouge, he would write!

This process was difficult to an unimaginable degree!

The Rouge was too sticky, the mirror surface was too slippery, and his legs were too thin!

Su Chen's Divine Soul power was concentrated to an unprecedented level; his focus even surpassed the days he spent in seclusion in the secret room of Divine Son Peak!

Every step he crawled had to be controlled to the utmost precision, otherwise, what remained would not be a stroke, but an unrecognizable smudge.

He crawled crookedly and clumsily, like a baby who had just learned to walk staggering on ice.

And the marks left on the mirror were even more hideously ugly.

One stroke deep, one stroke shallow, one thick, one thin, with all sorts of messy, greasy trails.

[Dare]

[to die?]

[I'll]

[beat]

[your]

[butt]

[to]

[a pulp!]

...He crawled until he was dizzy, feeling his Divine Soul power being drained at an unprecedented rate!

His tiny Mosquito head was almost about to overload and crash.

[Damn it! This is too hard! I've never been this tired in my life!]

[Ji Hongxue! You silly girl, if you really dare to die, I... I'll make a rubbing of this Peerless masterpiece, frame it as a plaque, and hang it at the entrance of your Fengming Hall, making you infamous for ten thousand years!]

On the other side.

Ji Hongxue had already given up all hope of living.

She could clearly feel the slight pain as the blade pierced her skin.

She could feel the sensation of warm blood slowly dripping down her neck.

The darkness of death was gently and coldly swallowing her.

At the moment she resolved to use her last bit of strength to let the dagger completely pierce her throat and end this shackle-like life.

Suddenly.

An extremely faint vibration, almost like a near-death hallucination, came from the Ancient bronze mirror in front of her.

Then, an overly rich scent of Rouge that shouldn't have been on the mirror surface abruptly entered her nostrils.

At the brink of death, a person's five senses become incredibly sharp.

This tiny anomaly, like an invisible needle, instantly pierced her deathly silent Sea of Consciousness.

Her slowly closing phoenix eyes trembled uncontrollably and struggled to open a thin slit.

What met her eyes was a world starting to blur due to blood loss, and her own pale, desperate face in the mirror.

No, that's not right... there seemed to be a splash of eye-catching red on the mirror.

And that red was actually... actually still moving slowly?

Ji Hongxue widened her eyes in shock, forcibly focusing her vision that was about to dissipate.

Then, she saw a scene she would never forget for the rest of her life, one that even made death itself seem less terrifying.

She saw an all-black Mosquito, smaller than a grain of rice?

It was perched on her mirror.

Its six legs were covered in her favorite tribute Rouge.

Like the most industrious Worker ant, it was huffing and puffing as it... crawled back and forth on the mirror?

With every difficult crawl, a row of crooked, hideously ugly Rouge characters, like the random scribbles of a three-year-old child, were slowly taking shape on the mirror.

"..."

Ji Hongxue froze completely.

Her hand holding the dagger stopped just a hair's breadth from her throat, remaining motionless.

She even forgot what she was doing.

Forgot that she was committing suicide.

Her brain went through a drastic change from deathly stillness to a blank slate, and then to a complete, boiling crash.

She just stared blankly, without blinking, at the Mosquito that was "writing furiously."

Looking at that row of red characters that was growing longer and emitting an extremely familiar fragrance.

This... what is the situation?

Is this a hallucination produced before death?

Or is it that... this deep palace is haunted?

And it's a ghost with unique taste who likes to use her Rouge to write?

A Mosquito... using her Rouge... on her mirror... writing?!
