130: Chapter 130 One Finger Flying Lightning

The heavy bet of 200,000 once again drew a chorus of gasps from those around.

"Holy crap! This kid!"

"Is he playing this recklessly?"

"Whose idiot son is this? With a betting style like that, no family fortune is big enough to lose."

"Buddy, you don't even know Tie Pao? Do you only play cards and not bet on fighting?"

"Is he that famous?"

"No kidding!"

Amidst the ongoing chatter, the dealer revealed the cards again.

"19 points, Big!"

"It really is Big!"

"He won again!"

"That's 400,000 in just two rounds; his luck is just too hot!"

"I wonder if he dares to go for a third round!"

"Tie Pao, what are you betting on this round? I'm following you!"

Tang Long retrieved his winnings and was just about to push them out again, looking smug, when Shang Yuqing suddenly grabbed his wrist and whispered to him again.

"Quit while you're ahead and stop messing around! If they could put a bounty on you last night, they can do it again tonight."

Tang Long smiled. "That's exactly why I have to vent my anger. I can't just take the bullying without making a peep, right?"

Shang Yuqing was a bit annoyed. "Does doing this really vent your anger? Can you keep winning forever?"

"Not necessarily. But now that I have you backing me up, maybe they're scared and will deliberately lose to me."

Shang Yuqing agreed with this assessment; the possibility was indeed quite high.

Anyway, Tang Long only started with 100,000, so it wouldn't matter if he lost. She was actually curious to see how sincere Fei Shan was, so she slowly let go of his wrist.

However, as the game progressed, she quickly sensed something was wrong.

In the third round, it was 25 points, Big, and Tang Long won 800,000.

In the fourth round, it was 30 points, Big, 1.6 million.

In the fifth round, it was 17 points, Big, 3.2 million.

This number was clearly far beyond her expectations, making it hard for her to believe that Fei Shan would try to curry favor with her to this extent.

Tang Long pulled her into a hug and planted a big kiss on her, still refusing to leave.

The gamblers around them were even more excited, and the atmosphere was incredibly heated.

"My Red God, he's passed five rounds in a row!"

"Five Bigs in a row; this luck is simply heaven-defying!"

"Damn it all, he's won over three million in such a short time; why can't I have that kind of luck?"

"As expected of Tie Pao, he dominates both the ring and the gambling table!"

"I followed him and won over 30,000, haha!"

Even the dealer was so nervous that his hands were trembling, and he couldn't even count the chips properly.

After trembling as he paid out the winnings, he said in a shaky voice: "Sir, the betting limit for this table is 2 million. If you want to continue doubling your bet, I need to consult the manager and have a senior staff member serve you."

Tang Long waved his hand. "Of course I want to increase it, go call them!"

This statement caused an uproar among the surrounding gamblers.

Even Shang Yuqing couldn't help but lower her voice again to scold him: "Are you crazy! That's 3.2 million! Even if Fei Shan was willing to give me face before, there's absolutely no way he'll let you win this round!"

"Sister Qing, you might be underestimating yourself. Although Fei Shan has some filthy money, he's only at the Blood Refining level. Compared to your brother, he doesn't even count as an ant. I think that to appease your anger, he's likely willing to spend this money."

"You..."

Shang Yuqing was numb with shock; she did not expect this kid to be so pushy and greedy, taking advantage of her status.

If Fei Shan let him win this round, it would no longer be just giving her face; she would owe them a huge favor.

If this were the old her, she would have gotten up and left immediately, leaving Tang Long to fend for himself, and perhaps even slapped him.

But for some reason, although she stood up, she just couldn't seem to move her feet.

Amidst the clamor and noise, Violent Bear quickly walked over with a white-haired old man.

"Miss Shang, so you're here. Brother Shan would like to talk to you in person. I wonder if you have the time?"

Shang Yuqing's expression was cold and stiff; she did not even look at him.

Violent Bear nodded again. "Understood. Then I won't disturb your game. Old Zhou, you accompany Miss Shang and Mr. Tang for a few rounds."

The old man immediately walked to the dealer's position with a smile. "Distinguished guests, I am Zhou Quan, a senior staff member of this casino. The limit I am authorized for is 5 million. I will be serving you two from now on."

Seeing this old man named Zhou Quan, Shang Yuqing actually breathed a sigh of relief inwardly.

Because this old man was a famous gambling expert nicknamed "Shadowless Hand." By sending him over, it was obvious that Fei Shan would not let Tang Long win again.

Losing would be fine too.

After all, Mad Dog had already crippled three ninth-rank gang enforcers over there, so Fei Shan's mood must be terrible. If Tang Long kept winning like this, it would likely lead to trouble.

"Two guests, for the new game we will switch to this new deck of cards. Would you like to inspect them?"

Shang Yuqing still didn't speak, merely casting her gaze toward Tang Long.

Tang Long glanced at the so-called new deck of cards and couldn't help but find it amusing.

The new cards were likely made of a special material, possibly to counter certain individuals with special abilities, but in front of his Fire Eye, it was completely useless.

So he waved his hand nonchalantly. "Doesn't matter, let's get started."

Zhou Quan immediately shuffled the cards. After shuffling them three times in full view of everyone, he put the new deck into the card shoe and began to draw.

The first card was a 7.

But when drawing the second card, Tang Long saw the trick. The original face card, the moment it was touched, instantly slipped into his sleeve and was replaced with a 6.

And the third card, which should have been a 9, was replaced with a 3.

So the current point total was exactly 16; no matter whether Tang Long bet Big or Small, he would lose.

"Sir, you may place your bet."

Tang Long couldn't help but sigh; this world really wasn't lacking in any kind of people.

In terms of gambling trickery alone, the old guy was definitely at a master level. Although he played pretty well in his past life, he could never manage to swap cards at this speed using just one finger.

So even if he guessed correctly now, at the moment of revealing the cards, he would definitely have a way to swap them again.

But Tang Long smiled and still pushed all his chips out.

"3.2 million, I bet on Tie!"

As soon as these words were spoken, all the gamblers exploded in an uproar, and even Shang Yuqing couldn't help but stand up.

"Holy crap, you've got to be kidding! Betting 3.2 million on a Tie? Is he crazy?"

"Heh! There are twenty-eight possible combinations for a total of 17 points; the probability of a Tie is one in twenty-eight. Sometimes it doesn't happen for days. This guy has no brain at all."

"You might have a brain, but you're not much better than him. Do you know who that dealer is? It's 'Shadowless Hand' Zhou Quan, a famous big shot in our Song City gambling scene!"

"Does that mean Tie Pao is guaranteed to lose?"

"What else? A Tie pays eight to one; a payout would balloon to over 20 million. Do you think the Hot-Blooded Gang is a charity?"

Although Zhou Quan remained calm and kept smiling, he was secretly startled.

His "One Finger Flying Lightning" technique had never been seen through by anyone; the fact that this young man could guess the exact point total was truly not simple.

Based on this, if it were any other game, there might be risks.

But playing 16 points, with the cards under his control, he could make it whatever points he wanted; there was no way Tang Long could win.

Zhou Quan scanned the surroundings. "Does anyone else wish to place a bet? If not, I will reveal the cards immediately."

The crowd was still bustling, but no one dared to follow the bet, and many even retreated unconsciously.

But Tang Long, at this moment, seemed completely unconcerned; instead, he asked Shang Yuqing for a cigarette and was in the middle of lighting it.

"Betting closed. Now, revealing the cards."

Zhou Quan had just reached out his hand, but at that exact moment, Tang Long suddenly moved.
