7: Chapter 7, the Sky-Supporting Qi Strike, is complete!

Inside Qin Yan's room.

He didn't go to sleep immediately; instead, he walked to the desk and pulled open a drawer.

A small transparent glass bottle lay quietly inside, filled with a liquid as deep red as blood—it was a qi and blood potion worth 200 huaxia coins.

His gaze lingered on the potion for a moment before he eventually closed the drawer gently.

"Wait a bit longer... Once the Stance Training breaks through to the fourth level, the absorption efficiency will be much higher."

His financial constraints forced him to plan meticulously, maximizing the effect of every single resource.

After finishing this, Qin Yan finally climbed into bed.

Sleep is the most effective way to recover physical strength and nourish the spirit.

He had heard that powerful Martial Artists could go without sleep for several days and nights, but he was still far from being able to do that.

He needed at least six hours of sleep every day to barely offset the exhaustion brought about by high-intensity Cultivation.

Lying in bed, Qin Yan soon fell into a deep sleep, gathering strength for the next day's bitter training.

At four o'clock the next morning, the alarm clock rang on time.

Qin Yan's eyes snapped open, and he got up and dressed briskly. As he walked past his parents' and sister's rooms, he paused, took a deep look, and silently repeated in his heart: "I will definitely get into a martial university!"

Then, he walked out of the house soundlessly, not wanting to disturb his family.

Jogging all the way, it took him only ten minutes to reach the school.

He opened the gymnasium doors with practiced ease; as expected, it was empty, with only cold equipment and weapon racks standing silent under the lights. Qin Yan had long since grown used to this.

Coming to the weapons area, he picked up his personal long spear, flicked his wrist, and began his day's Cultivation.

Practicing the spear for two hours at dawn, standing in the stance for two hours in the morning, and then practicing the spear for four more hours or studying cultural subjects in the evening depending on his physical condition—this was the extreme Cultivation plan Qin Yan had set for himself.

Due to his body's limited endurance, he used an alternating method: focusing on eight hours of Cultivation one day, and performing four hours of maintenance training the next while prioritizing rest and cultural studies.

By cycling like this, he could ensure progress while avoiding injury to his body.

Calculated this way, on average every two days, he could obtain 3 precious Skill Points through his hard work.

"There's still a full month until the Monthly Exam. I wonder to what level my Martial Arts Skill can improve by then..."

With this expectation, the long spear in Qin Yan's hands danced with increasing power, the sound of it breaking the air echoing clearly in the empty venue.

Day after day, Qin Yan's life became a battle precise to the minute: spear practice at dawn, breakfast, Stance Training in the morning, lunch, and a one-hour nap at noon to make up for sleep, totaling exactly six hours of sleep a day.

Cultural classes in the afternoon, dinner, and in the evening, he chose between continuing spear practice or studying cultural subjects based on his level of fatigue.

Every day was exhausting, but every day was incredibly fulfilling.

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, a month had passed; the day of the Monthly Exam was approaching.

Inside the gymnasium, Qin Yan had just finished a round of frantic practice. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and placed the long spear steadily back on the rack.

He took a deep breath, concentrated his spirit, and once again opened the System panel that only he could see:

[Sky-Supporting One Qi Stance: Level 3 (9%)]

[Qi and Blood: 67 Cal]

[spirit: 42]

[Spear Technique: rank 1 (8%)]

[Skill Points: 45]

[Note: As long as you work hard, there will be gains]

After a month of training, every value had received some minor improvements.

His gaze fixed intensely on the astonishing number following "Skill Points": 45!

A full 45 points!

This was the hope condensed from a month of sweat and persistence!

"Let's see just how much of a harvest this month of desperate effort can bring!"

Qin Yan's heart was full of expectation. Without any hesitation, he immediately began to pour Skill Points into his Spear Technique!

As the Skill Points were consumed bit by bit, a vast amount of profound insights regarding the application of the spear flowed into his mind like a trickling stream, as if he had experienced thousands upon thousands of refinements.

On the panel, the proficiency of his Spear Technique began to soar at an alarming rate!

84%, 88%, 91%... In an instant, it reached the 100% threshold!

The progress bar paused slightly, and then, the original "rank 1" text blurred and disappeared, replaced by a brand new—"second stage (1%)"!

The Spear Technique Realm had achieved a Breakthrough!

Qin Yan immediately stopped the infusion.

Taking a look, the Breakthrough just now had consumed 8 Skill Points, leaving 37.

"Just 8 points, and my Spear Technique skill broke through to the low-tier of Stage 2!"

The powerful effect of the System Skill Points had once again exceeded his expectations.

The low-tier of Stage 2 corresponded to a Martial Arts Skill assessment score of 80!

This had already reached the Martial Arts Skill admission standard for Jianghai Martial University last year!

"It seems Jianghai Martial University isn't that difficult?"

Immediately after, Qin Yan shook his head, warning himself not to get cocky.

His qi and blood were still far from the recruitment standards of Jianghai Martial University.

Qin Yan tried adding one more point to his Spear Technique.

The Spear Technique progress became 3%.

One skill point equaled 2% proficiency.

Qin Yan thought about it and chose to increase the Spear Technique progress to 21%, consuming another 9 Skill Points.

"I can't add more for now. Improving this much in a month is already a startling leap; even a late bloomer shouldn't be this exaggerated."

Qin Yan decided to temporarily stop adding points to his Martial Arts Skill.

The mid-tier of Stage 2 corresponded to a Martial Arts Skill score of 90.

With his 21% progress, he was only 9% away from the mid-tier of Stage 2, so he should be above 86 points.

"My current total score has already surpassed the top fifty of the grade, but there's still some gap to reach the top ten."

"Since I can't improve my Martial Arts Skill for now, I'll first improve my Stance Training."

No sooner said than done, Qin Yan added all the remaining Skill Points to the Sky-Supporting One Qi Stance.

In an instant, the proficiency of the Stance Training began to jump wildly, growing at high speed!

The Level 3 (9%) Bottleneck was instantly broken, stepping directly into the fourth level, and the speed of improvement didn't decrease at all, continuing to launch an assault toward higher levels!

Only after reaching above 90% did the speed gradually slow down, but it still climbed steadily upward.

Under Qin Yan's tense gaze, the progress bar made another qualitative leap—the fifth level!

Finally, when all Skill Points were exhausted, leaving only the last 1 point, the display for the Stance Training became: [Sky-Supporting One Qi Stance: Level 5 (Perfection)]!

"Level 5! Perfection!"

Qin Yan almost shouted out in excitement!

For no other reason than that the Stance Training reaching the Level 5 Perfection Realm meant that the speed and efficiency with which he refined qi and blood potions would reach a terrifying level!

The effect of him absorbing one bottle of qi and blood potion would far exceed that of an ordinary person, and could even match the effect of others absorbing four or five bottles!
