8: Ye Liuyun, who is more ferocious than the beast

Ye Liuyun got out of the car and surveyed the surroundings. In the distance, tall buildings stood, but they were now entwined with green plants, looking desolate. This city was probably more prosperous than Pingdong before.

It's a pity that under the beast tide, the people who lived here and the buildings have all become history.

It was his first time seeing such a city, and he was quite shocked, but soon his gaze returned to the grass around the energy bar. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If Zhao Hai hadn't promised him a holographic simulation yesterday, he probably wouldn't have been brought along.

Since he was here, he had to cherish this experience, feel the Vicious Beast properly, and see if it was more vicious or if he was!

Moreover, this was a great opportunity to earn Beast Points.

Zhao Yue tightened the long sword in her hand. For some reason, seeing Ye Liuyun's burly body in front of her gave her a strange sense of security. In comparison, her cousin, Tian Fei, looked like a little chick next to him.

Now, Ye Liuyun's height was approaching two meters, and his body in a combat suit didn't appear overly muscular, but his masculine curves were perfect.

He stood at the front like a male lion poised to strike.

"It's out!" As Zhao Hai's words fell, a tiger-sized wild boar charged wildly from the grass.

"Bloodthirsty Pig."

Ye Liuyun had carefully read the Compendium of Vicious Beasts yesterday, remembering the characteristics of the Vicious Beasts within it clearly.

This Bloodthirsty Pig is an extremely common low-intelligence Vicious Beast, unranked, but possesses immense brute strength, is not picky about its living environment, is omnivorous, can even survive by eating steel, and has thick skin and great power.

When it charges, even a fully loaded semi-truck cannot withstand its impact.

A small body, but immense brute strength!

"Who's going?"

As Zhao Hai's words fell, Ye Liuyun had already pushed off with his feet and shot out. He had noticed their expressions just now; they almost had 'I'm so nervous' written all over their faces.

So, he was the obvious choice to set an example!

As soon as he darted out, the Bloodthirsty Pig noticed him.

The reason it earned its name was its incredibly keen perception of blood Qi, and Ye Liuyun's overflowing Qi and blood appeared as an excellent delicacy in its eyes.

Instantly, foul-smelling drool dripped from the Bloodthirsty Pig's mouth, and it changed direction, charging towards Ye Liuyun.

Its strong limbs thundered, leaving small pits in the ground.

The Bloodthirsty Pig, at full speed, could reach 100 kilometers in three seconds, and the impact it carried was even more terrifying!

Zhao Yue and Tian Fei watched this scene intently. The impact from that Bloodthirsty Pig was too strong for them; it was nothing like the references they saw in classes.

Even from this distance, they could feel that Evil Qi, which was very uncomfortable. Tian Fei even felt a little fear.

Zhao Hai looked at Ye Liuyun, who was charging head-on, and nodded secretly. Normal people, even First-Order Martial Artists, would feel fear the first time they faced a Vicious Beast. This is human instinct.

But Ye Liuyun not only seemed to lack it but was instead going to meet the opponent head-on, truly living up to his strength.

The Bloodthirsty Pig saw that this human dared to charge directly at it, and it immediately fell into a rage. Its front hooves pawed the ground forcefully, and its head was raised high. It wanted to gore this hateful human to death.

An impact stronger than a full-speed semi-truck was its weapon. If it connected solidly, the opponent's internal organs would instantly explode.

The distance between one person and one beast rapidly closed.

That fierce and malevolent aura swept directly towards Ye Liuyun.

However, what Ye Liuyun had Awakened was Godzilla. When it came to viciousness, was an unranked Vicious Beast even worthy of comparison?

It had no effect on him at all.

When he saw the distance was one meter, Ye Liuyun was still charging, and Zhao Hai knew he was being overconfident. Just as he was about to act, his eyes suddenly trembled.

He saw the furiously charging Bloodthirsty Pig being sent flying more than ten meters by Ye Liuyun's left hook, and a trail of dust was kicked up from the ground.

Zhao Yue and Tian Fei saw Ye Liuyun's ferocity and for a moment couldn't tell who was the Vicious Beast!

How could he be more vicious than a Vicious Beast?

"Damn it, it really has thick skin. My fist even hurts a bit!" Ye Liuyun shook his fist, his alloy gauntlet completely unharmed.

The Bloodthirsty Pig, sent flying by a punch, was still struggling to get up, but that punch had damaged its head, causing it to lose its balance. No matter how much it struggled, it couldn't get back on its feet.

Ye Liuyun walked over, raised his hand, and claws protruded from his alloy gauntlet. He aimed them at its head and plunged them in fiercely.

The tough skin was instantly pierced by the immense force.

Pfft!

[Congratulations to the host for drawing first blood, awarded Martial Skill: Mountain Splitter Fist]

Withdrawing his claws and shaking off the blood, Ye Liuyun smiled. There was an unexpected bonus.

At the same time, his heart burned with excitement. If he kept killing, wouldn't Beast Points accumulate rapidly?

The ratio between Vicious Beasts and Martial Artists is one minor Realm ahead.

For example, this Bloodthirsty Pig, though unranked, can contend with a First-Order Elementary Martial Artist, and a First-Order Elementary Vicious Beast is not afraid of a First-Order Intermediate Martial Artist.

But it seems now that this unranked one is nothing in his hands.

"Good!" Zhao Hai exclaimed excitedly when he saw Ye Liuyun's swift actions.

This is a good man of Great Xia, decisive in his actions.

"Ye Liuyun has set an example for you. Now it's your turn to perform! The mission this time isn't heavy; each of you will kill two unranked Vicious Beasts."

Zhao Yue and Tian Fei nodded.

Although they felt a little fear, as aspiring Martial Artists, how could they not kill Vicious Beasts?

Both had entered the holographic projection; if they could kill there, they could kill outside too.

No sooner had Ye Liuyun dealt with the Bloodthirsty Pig than he saw another one rush out from the side. He turned to look at Zhao Yue and the others, and seeing no reaction from them, Ye Liuyun got excited. He leaped forward, charging over, and his hand-claws descended from above, plunging directly into the opponent's head.

Blood mixed with foreign matter splattered onto the ground, mixing with dust and smelling extremely foul.

"Hmm? It seems even unranked ones have strengths and weaknesses."

This one awarded two fewer points than the previous one.

Beasts and Beasts are not all the same.

After killing two in a row, Ye Liuyun suddenly felt that these Bloodthirsty Pigs were too few, and he couldn't help but look deeper into the area.

However, he ultimately dismissed that idea.

After all, Zhao Hai brought him here, and he couldn't cause trouble for him. When the college entrance exam came, he would definitely have to kill a lot and accumulate a wave of Beast Points.

At that time, he would amaze everyone. His current strength should rank him among the top five in Quanzhou City.

"Ye Liuyun, come back. Your mission is complete. Now let them try." Zhao Hai could tell that if he didn't call him back, Ye Liuyun wouldn't want to return.

But he had to call him back! If Ye Liuyun got too carried away, what about his two children? If they lacked experience and performed poorly during the college entrance exam, it would be a huge joke!

Ye Liuyun retracted the sharp claws into his alloy gauntlet and sighed, just getting warmed up.

Zhao Hai looked at the sighing Ye Liuyun and shook his head. This boy was uncanny, very uncanny.

His first time killing a Vicious Beast was so calm, even with a hint of reluctance. This... Zhao Hai suddenly thought of Ye Liuyun's background; his parents and relatives were all slaughtered by Vicious Beasts. That explained it.

Hatred can make people forget fear.

This psychological state gives him a clear advantage in the college entrance exam, something others simply don't possess!
