265: The truth about the planet

High-dimensional space.

The Ally Master stood in the void of the starry sky, her light blue long hair gently fluttering in the zero-gravity environment, her purple pupils reflecting the amber-energy figure before her.

Her voice was ethereal and calm, yet carried a hint of imperceptible confusion: "You said... I am the Goddess of the Sky?"

Chen Hao, or rather, Chen Hao in his Preservation Aeon form, floated quietly before her, and after a brief thought, nodded.

"Yes, but not entirely," his voice was like the whisper of the universe, "You are only a part of her."

"A part of her authority, her rationality, her remedial measures, her final safeguard."

"But, you are not her."

The Ally Master's brow furrowed slightly: "What do you mean?"

Chen Hao did not answer directly, but raised his hand and waved.

A scene suddenly appeared in the void.

It was a female figure composed of countless stars, her long hair flowing like the Milky Way, her eyes containing endless mysteries.

"The Goddess of the Sky," Chen Hao's voice became distant, "or rather, the creator of this planet."

"I don't know how she was born. Well, I should say I have a guess, but I'm not sure. But this is irrelevant to what comes next, you don't need to worry about it."

His finger gently pointed at the image: "She wanted to create a world, a civilization, but she made a mistake."

The image changed abruptly, space began to distort, and the entire planet began to crack.

"She lacked experience in creation," Chen Hao's voice carried a certain vicissitude that transcended time and space, "This planet lacked the necessary laws and concepts."

"Or rather, although this planet looks complete, something invisible is missing."

"To put it in terms you can understand, it's like an Orbal Terminal with insufficient computing power, unable to handle overly complex programs."

The Ally Master's pupils contracted slightly: "So..."

"Doomsday is destined?"

Chen Hao nodded: "When civilization develops to a certain extent, it will touch the limits of the world."

"And then..."

His voice suddenly became low: "Collapse, void, reincarnation."

...

Although Chen Hao had only played Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure before his transmigration and didn't know much about the later series, a very familiar feeling came over him upon arriving at this planet.

The entire Barnard I planet, or rather, the entire Zemurian continent civilization existing in this universe, was almost a simplified version of Ouroboros.

The entire civilization was merely a creature created by the Goddess of the Sky. However, due to insufficient experience in creation, this world lacked many laws, rules, and concepts necessary for normal operation. Therefore, when the civilization of this world developed to a certain extent, it would face a sudden doomsday, enter the void, and then reincarnate from scratch.

It's somewhat like a hard drive running out of storage space; if data continues to spontaneously increase, the entire hard drive will completely crash.

To solve this problem, the Goddess of the Sky split her authority. In addition to creating the seven supreme treasures to help civilization develop and delay collapse, she also hoped that intelligent life in the nascent civilization could find a way to complete this world through the supreme treasures.

At the same time, the Goddess of the Sky also combined her authority to control rules and foresee the future with her final rational will to create the 'Ally Master'.

The Ally Master's mission was that if civilization failed to find a way to break the deadlock, she would forcibly restart the world and begin a new cycle of civilization before the world returned to the void.

...

"Merging the seven supreme treasures, restarting the world, letting civilization return to its origin..." Chen Hao's gaze met hers, his voice carrying a hint of a sigh: "But this doesn't solve the fundamental problem."

"Just like your ultimate plan, the Eternal Return Plan, it has two sides. Success is merely a means to delay collapse. Failure initiates reincarnation."

The Ally Master's fingertips trembled slightly, and for the first time, she lost her composure: "You!"

"How do you know about the Eternal Return Plan?"

"This plan..." Her voice trembled slightly: "Only I and a few Enforcers know..."

Chen Hao chuckled: "I know more than you imagine."

"For example, your true mission."

"!"

"The Goddess of the Sky bestowed upon you the authority to control rules and foresee the future precisely so that you could restart the world before everything turned to void, should civilization fail to break its limitations."

The Ally Master's body swayed slightly, as if struck by some invisible force.

How could he know these things!?

These secrets, even the Enforcers didn't fully understand.

Chen Hao's voice continued: "Unfortunately, you failed."

"Countless reincarnations, countless attempts..."

"You never found the answer."

"And now..." His gaze swept over the Ally Master's shocked face: "This world's time is running out."

The Ally Master's throat moved: "How... how much longer?"

"No need to test me, you should know very well," Chen Hao's voice was frighteningly calm: "Six years."

"At most six years, this world will completely collapse."

"And then... everything returns to void, and starts anew."

The Ally Master's body swayed slightly, her purple pupils reflecting Chen Hao's figure, but for the first time, a deep confusion appeared.

I am a part of the Goddess of the Sky? The... final safeguard of this world?

Her fingertips unconsciously clenched.

How many reincarnations, how many failures, the root cause was here after all.

Chen Hao watched her quietly. He could feel that the will of the woman before him far surpassed that of ordinary people. Although still far from an Aeon, she had already reached the mid-to-upper level of an Enforcer.

What surprised him even more was that, after a careful perception, he found that the Ally Master's soul seemed to have a subtle resonance with a certain path.

'The aura of a path? And this path?'

'Why? It doesn't seem related at all? Wait! It seems, there truly is some connection...'

His eyes flickered slightly, and he suddenly understood something.

The birth of the seven supreme treasures, the self-destruction of the phantasmal treasure... So that's how it is.

The Ally Master's voice suddenly broke his thoughts: "You..."

Her voice was ethereal and calm, yet carried a hint of imperceptible wavering: "You know so much, can you change all of this?"

Chen Hao nodded slightly: "Indeed."

"I can indeed break this cycle."

"But on the premise that you are willing to cooperate."

"Cooperate?" The Ally Master's brow furrowed slightly: "What do you want?"

Chen Hao chuckled: "It's very simple."

"To gain everything, one naturally needs to lose everything."

"? !"

...

Inside the Imperial Embassy, Osborne stood by the window, his single eye gazing at the cheering crowd in the distance.

Behind him, Lechter stood respectfully.

"Prime Minister," Lechter's voice was cautious, "Do we need to strengthen intelligence work on Crossbell?"

Osborne was silent for a moment, then slowly shook his head: "Do not act rashly for now."

"This company..." His voice was low and dangerous: "is more dangerous than we imagined."

"We must first figure out their true purpose."

At the Republic Consulate, President Rocksmith stood in his office. The documents before him displayed the combat data of the Bai Ze Mech, as estimated by the Republic's experts.

"Find out the background of this company," his voice was cold and resolute: "At all costs."
