4: Chapter 004 Even Zhang Yixing is no match for that man on the second floor!
Yan Yu's finger was still ruthlessly poking at the photo on the wall.
Lin Hao chuckled.
What was he saying again?
Someone really watched the Buqi Dance Troupe Dancing downstairs and rushed over to sign up on a whim.
He just hadn't expected this young lady to be aiming for Su Chen.
Fortunately, it was just her; squeezing her in wouldn't be much trouble.
He completely failed to notice the selfie stick held in Yan Yu's other hand, assuming she was just a brain-dead fan who got overly hyped up from watching a performance and came running to chase stars.
"Alright, you want to sign up for Teacher Su's class, right?" Lin Hao switched the iced shaken lemon tea in his hand to his left hand. "Though I'll state this first, Teacher Su usually only handles the basics for kids, and he doesn't really teach major classes. If you genuinely want to learn Street Dance, we still have—"
"I want him to teach me." Yan Yu interrupted in a split second.
Even if Jesus came today, he wouldn't be able to drag her away!
Let alone teaching Dancing, even if Su Chen only taught the eighth set of radio gymnastics tomorrow, she was determined to pay this tuition!
Lin Hao shrugged. "Fine then. Anyway, Teacher Su doesn't usually have many students, and being idle is just being idle. Come over tomorrow at ten in the morning and pay directly at the front desk."
"Great, it's a deal!"
Fearing that Lin Hao might go back on his word, Yan Yu locked it in at lightning speed.
By this time, the bullet comments on her phone screen had gone completely wild.
[Count me in! Streamer, help me sign up tomorrow too! I want to learn Dancing from this handsome guy!]
[To the person above, is that wanting to learn Dancing? You're just lusting after his body! The beads of your abacus are flying right into my face!]
[Ten o'clock tomorrow, right? I happen to be local, so I gotta stake out this mall tomorrow no matter what!]
[If I don't see this face in person, I'm bound to suffer from insomnia tonight. The streamer must broadcast tomorrow!]
[If this guy is truly as divine as the streamer hypes him up to be, I'll wash my hair while doing a handstand and eat a keyboard on top of that!]
[Never mind whether he's divine or not, just for the sake of this face alone, this registration fee is an absolute steal!]
[Streamer, don't just have fun by yourself; help me ask if he takes male students. I want to learn his Electric Wave!]
[See you tomorrow rain or shine, I really want to see if this man actually has some tricks up his sleeve!]
Looking at the screen full of bullet comments, Yan Yu was blooming with joy inside.
This wave of overwhelming fortune had finally been completely caught.
She gestured softly toward the screen. "Family, it's too late today, and the studio is off work. I'll head back to the school first, and I'll broadcast punctually tomorrow morning at ten when I come to pay. If you want to see him in person, come early tomorrow to stake out the live stream!"
Finishing her words, Yan Yu waved at the camera and decisively ended the broadcast.
Putting away her selfie stick, she hummed a little tune and strolled out of the mall.
Tonight she had originally planned to go on a killing spree at the snack street, but after the commotion caused by the Buqi Dance Troupe and that man named Su Chen on the second floor, she completely threw the matter of gorging herself to the back of her mind.
Hailing a taxi back to the Dance Academy.
Yan Yu had just pushed open the dormitory door.
"You're back?"
A gentle yet somewhat oppressive voice echoed in the dorm.
The smile on Yan Yu's face instantly froze.
Sitting upright in a chair right in the middle of the dorm was a woman.
She was wearing a moon-white practicing outfit, and her hair was coiled impeccably.
Her facial features were quite soft—the typical appearance of a Classical Dance teacher, gentle and poised.
Yet she was dragging a black electronic weight scale in her hand, utterly ruining that gentleness completely.
This was their class's professional course teacher, Teacher Shen. People bestowed upon her the nickname "Fat Destroyer".
"Teacher... Teacher Shen, why are you in our dorm?" Yan Yu stammered out a greeting.
Standing in the corner were the other three roommates, each standing as straight as if in military training, frantically signaling to Yan Yu.
Shen Yun set the weight scale in her hand down onto the floor.
"Today is the weekend, so I came over to see if you girls kept your mouths in check." Shen Yun lifted her chin and pointed at the scale on the floor. "The three of them have all weighed themselves; you're the only one left. Step up."
Yan Yu swallowed a mouthful of saliva.
Under normal circumstances, her calves would already be starting to cramp up right about now.
Every time she went out to let loose on the weekend, once her "big foodie girl" attribute erupted, she would gain at least two or three pounds.
During Monday's professional class, she would definitely be cursed out black and blue by Shen Yun.
But today was different.
Yan Yu rapidly ran through today's afternoon itinerary in her head.
She had been too busy squeezing into the front row to watch Dancing, not even having time to drink a sip of water, let alone eat those high-calorie snacks.
Thinking of this, Yan Yu's confidence instantly maxed out.
She tossed her backpack onto the bed, marched valiantly and spiritedly up to the weight scale, kicked off her shoes, and stepped right on.
The red numbers bounced on the screen a few times before finally locking in.
48.5 kilograms.
Shen Yun lowered her head to look at the numbers, her eyebrows raising slightly.
She raised her head, looking Yan Yu up and down, a hint of puzzlement showing in her eyes.
"Did you finally know to be scared today?" Shen Yun pointed at the numbers on the scale. "Usually when you go out for a weekend trip, not gaining two pounds upon return would be an injustice to that mouth of yours. How come you didn't gain a single ounce today?"
The three roommates in the corner also widened their eyes, looking at Yan Yu with expressions of absolute disbelief, as if they were looking at an alien.
Yan Yu coughed dryly twice, hopped down from the scale, put her shoes back on, and wore a somewhat smug expression.
"Shen Yun, look at what you're saying; I'm usually very self-disciplined, alright."
"Stop running your mouth with me." Shen Yun rolled her eyes at her with a mix of exasperation and amusement. "Confess honestly, what did you go do today? You didn't go sweep the snack street?"
Yan Yu scratched her head and smiled somewhat sheepishly.
"I originally planned to go... But didn't I run into the Buqi Dance Troupe shooting a video in the mall plaza halfway there? I got so engrossed in watching Dancing that I completely forgot about gorging myself."
After hearing this, Shen Yun nodded thoughtfully.
"The Buqi Dance Troupe came over here today? No wonder."
As a teacher at the Dance Academy, Shen Yun naturally had her finger on the pulse of these current popular dance groups online.
Although in her view, these internet-famous dance groups lacked the foundation and professionalism of Classical Dance, they certainly had some real skills when it came to rhythm control and stage presence.
She looked at Yan Yu, her tone softening slightly.
"Being able to forget to eat just from watching Dancing shows that you still have professionalism in your heart."
Shen Yun paused, steering the topic further down along this line.
"Since you watched the Buqi Dance Troupe's performance live, tell me, what impressions did you have after watching it?"
Shen Yun's original intention was to use this opportunity to give Yan Yu a lecture.
She wanted to have Yan Yu analyze their stage performance and then logically lecture her: they became popular because their basic skills were solid, so you should practice well in the future instead of thinking about eating all day long.
She had already written the script out in her heart.
As a result, Yan Yu completely refused to play by the rules.
The moment she heard Teacher Shen ask for her thoughts, Yan Yu's eyes instantly lit up.
She slapped her thigh abruptly, getting so excited she almost jumped up.
"Shen Yun! If you hadn't brought this up, I would've completely forgotten!"
Yan Yu flurriedly took out her phone from her pocket, her fingers swiping rapidly across the screen.
"The Buqi Dance Troupe indeed dances quite well, and the live atmosphere is super explosive. But!"
Yan Yu emphasized her tone, shoving her phone screen directly in front of Shen Yun.
"Today at the scene, I saw another person."
Shen Yun was somewhat dazed by Yan Yu's sudden excitement, subconsciously taking the phone.
On the screen was a screen-recorded video.
The footage was a bit shaky, filmed from a low-angle upward perspective.
The background music was Zhang Yixing's brainwashing song big sedan chair.
At the top of the frame was a floor-to-ceiling window on the second floor of a mall, with a man in a white T-shirt standing in front of the window.
"What about this person?" Teacher Shen frowned, looking at the figure with very small movements in the footage.
Yan Yu took a deep breath, suppressing her inner excitement, and said word by word.
"Teacher Shen, look at him closely."
"He dances way better than the Buqi Dance Troupe."
Yan Yu paused, her eyes locked dead on the figure in the screen who was executing an Electric Wave.
"Even—"
"Even more amazing than Zhang Yixing!"
