110: Abyss passage!
At this moment—
The Lord of the End!
The head of the Nine Monarchs!
He appeared before a newly formed Critical Point, or rather, the entrance to a spatial passage.
The Lord of the End stood outside the spatial passage, his gaze piercing through the continuously twisting, inky black light screen.
The corners of his mouth, beneath his mask, curved slightly upward.
“Quite interesting.”
He slowly raised his right hand, and a mass of ink-black energy condensed in his palm.
This power surged erratically, gradually taking the shape of a terrifyingly grotesque long spear.
“Let me see if you are worth another glance from me!”
As soon as his voice fell, the long spear shot straight into the spatial passage like a meteor streaking across the sky.
Instantly, the entire passage trembled violently, and the original deep black light was tainted by an ominous dark red.
“Crack… crack…”
Cracks spread across the surface of the passage, which began to crumble like fragile glass.
The Lord of the End’s mouth curved slightly, and he immediately increased his energy output.
“Snap!”
With a crisp sound, one side of the passage completely shattered.
However, at this very moment, the entire spatial passage showed signs of imminent collapse.
The Lord of the End did not hesitate, forcefully stabilizing the passage structure with immense power.
After everything settled, he chuckled softly and stepped inside.
The world before his eyes changed in an instant.
The ground beneath his feet was composed of some kind of living tissue, emitting strange pulsations;
And above his head hung three pulsating blood-red “suns,” illuminating this world in an incredibly eerie manner.
Not far away, on a throne made of countless stacked skeletons, sat a massive monster.
Although the monster was roughly humanoid, it possessed six arms, each holding a different weapon.
Its head was devoid of facial features, having only a massive mouth filled with sharp teeth, appearing utterly ferocious.
And at its feet, various creatures of different forms were densely gathered, some crawling, some standing, appearing chaotic and disorganized.
The Lord of the End’s gaze swept across this unfamiliar domain.
When he noticed the strange creatures, his brows beneath the mask furrowed involuntarily.
Because he discovered that, apart from the Six-Armed Monster sitting on the throne, the other creatures showed no signs of intelligence whatsoever.
In other words, these fellows were merely a group of mindless beasts, completely incapable of bringing him any value.
Thus, the Lord of the End’s gaze locked firmly onto the Six-Armed Monster on the throne.
And the monster seemed to have sensed the presence of this uninvited guest, its massive head slowly turning in the direction of the Lord of the End.
“At least you have some brains.”
The Lord of the End said in a low voice, with a hint of disappointment.
Suddenly, the Six-Armed Monster let out an earth-shattering roar, and the entire space trembled with it.
It suddenly stood up, its eyes fixed on the Lord of the End, and a strange, hostile mental fluctuation emanated from its body.
“Invader from another world, how dare you trespass into Wild Six-Arms’ territory! You are dead!” the monster roared.
“Hahahaha!” The Lord of the End sneered upon hearing this, “Invader? How dare you lot call others invaders?”
His voice carried a certain mental power, ensuring the other party could fully understand his words.
As for why he could understand, it was mainly because his main body had deliberately given him a tool capable of translating various languages before he came over.
He was just afraid that after he arrived, the words spoken by both sides would be completely incomprehensible.
The Six-Armed Monster let out another earth-shaking roar, raising all six weapons simultaneously, as if to tear the sky apart.
At this moment, the blood-red sky actually began to twist and deform.
“Invasion?!” The monster was clearly enraged.
“Go to hell!” the monster cursed directly,
“I’ve stayed in my own home and never left, yet you directly attacked my doorstep, and now you’re telling me that I invaded you?”
“Your world is quite skilled at distorting right and wrong!”
The Lord of the End’s words made the monster even more furious, while the smile beneath the Lord of the End’s mask grew even wider.
He slowly raised his hand, and a ball of ink-black energy condensed at his fingertips.
“Distorting right and wrong?” The Lord of the End’s voice was full of mockery,
“How can you low-level creatures, whose intelligence hasn’t even fully developed, presume to talk about right and wrong?”
As soon as his voice fell, the black energy ball instantly expanded, transforming into countless fine threads that spread in all directions.
Wherever they reached, the unintelligent monsters turned to ash.
The Six-Armed Monster was completely enraged; its six weapons simultaneously swung out, and the powerful force tore through space, leaving six blood-red cracks.
Despite its massive size, its movements were exceptionally swift, covering a thousand meters in an instant and launching a fatal blow towards the Lord of the End.
However, after a loud “boom,” a hundred-meter-deep pit appeared where the Lord of the End had stood.
But the monster’s attack missed—the Lord of the End had appeared behind it at some unknown point.
“Too slow.”
The Lord of the End said softly, placing his right hand on the monster’s back.
With a “bang!”, the Six-Armed Monster’s massive body was sent flying by an invisible force, crashing through several skeleton mountains like a cannonball before finally coming to a stop.
“Roar—!”
The monster roared in pain, struggling to stand up again.
The monster shrieked in agony, its back suddenly caving in, forming a massive wound from which purplish-red blood gushed like a fountain.
However, not long after, this horrifying scar healed at an astonishing speed, leaving not even a trace.
The Lord of the End raised an eyebrow slightly, a hint of interest in his tone:
“Hmm? Quite interesting.”
The Six-Armed Monster slowly straightened its body, and all six of its eyes simultaneously glowed with a crimson light.
It suddenly opened its massive mouth and unleashed a piercingly sharp sonic attack.
Wherever this sound wave reached, the air seemed to tear, and even space itself was covered in fine cracks.
But the Lord of the End remained unresponsive, neither dodging nor defending.
He simply stood still, allowing the powerful sound wave to impact him.
His black robe flapped in the strong wind, but his figure remained as steady as a rock, unmoving.
“Is that all you’ve got?” The Lord of the End shook his head, his voice filled with disappointment,
“I thought you’d be a bit of a challenge; it seems I overestimated you.”
He casually raised his hand and snapped his fingers, “Snap!” A crisp sound echoed through the blood-red world.
In the next instant, the Six-Armed Monster’s movements suddenly froze, and then, its own six arms began to twist, deform, and even fight each other uncontrollably.
The monster cried out in horror: “No! This is impossible! What did you do to me?!”
The Lord of the End slowly walked forward, a playful smile curving his lips:
“Don’t be nervous, I’m just letting you experience the feeling of ‘left brain fighting right brain’.”
