51: Mass-produced magical motorcycles?! The entire server's biker gang has assembled! The art style has completely collapsed!
When Li Qiang (Also a Ruthless Person) drove that magic-infused three-wheeled motorcycle, which looked like a chariot from Hell, he arrogantly performed a perfect drift tail-flick under the terrified gaze of an Elven scout. Then, with a piercing roar and a long blue tail flame, he sped away. The official forum of "Void World" completely exploded because of the first-person dashcam video he shared.
[Sticky & Featured] [Video]: "Three Hundred Miles Per Hour! This is Called a Man's Romance! Are You Still Using Your Feet to Map Out the World?"
In the video, the scenery blurred at extreme speeds, the wind howled in the ears, and two exhaust pipe flames stretched out behind like ghostly phantom fires. More importantly, the wild and powerful roar of that modified engine was filled with raw strength.
This short thirty-second video was like the most potent drug, precisely injected into the hormones of every male player.
"Holy crap! Is the mount System open?!"
"This is a damn mount? This is clearly a missile flying close to the ground!"
"Brother Qiang! Brother Qiang, do you still need a lackey? The kind who can warm the bed! Please take me for a ride!"
"What bullshit magic, what garbage battle qi! I want this thing right now! This is power! This is a man's ultimate dream!"
The discussion heat on the forum even exceeded the previously announced Version 3.0 preview. That mechanical dragon that looked so cool and powerful suddenly became dull and tasteless in the face of the primal urge to "build your own Harley with your own hands."
Just as the players were about to go crazy with jealousy and desire, Li Qiang drove his beloved bike back to the Goblin Fortress under the admiring gazes of the surrounding crowd.
"Screech—!"
With a beautiful sudden brake, the wheels left two deep charred marks on the ground. Li Qiang took off the crystal sunglasses he had swiped from the Mage Tower and looked around. Seeing the faces written all over with "I want it," his vanity was satisfied like never before.
"How is it, brothers?" He patted the steel beast beneath him, which was still vibrating slightly and emitting the smell of high heat and engine oil. "This is called a game! This is a man's romance!"
"Brother Qiang! Sell it to me! I'll pay one hundred thousand Contribution Points!" A wealthy player shouted on the spot in desperation.
"Get lost! I'll pay two hundred thousand! Plus the elf girl I just picked up!"
"Don't stop me! Brother Qiang, I don't want the bike, I just want to touch it! Just once!"
Looking at this group of players who were about to lose their minds, Li Qiang was just about to enjoy the feeling of being the center of attention when Wang Wei (Luban No. 7) squeezed out from the crowd.
He ignored everyone's fanaticism and walked straight to the center of the square. He dragged out a huge "blackboard" polished from an obsidian slab from his backpack and then began to draw on it with a glowing magic crystal.
"Do you want it?" Wang Wei asked without looking back.
"YES!!!" Thousands of people shouted in unison, the sound wave almost overturning the entire fortress.
"If you want it, build it yourself."
Wang Wei wrote a line of large characters on the blackboard: "The Idiot's Guide: From Intro to Explosive Modding of the Demonic Energy Engine."
Below it was a design blueprint he had drawn himself, filled with the style of a mad scientist. The structural diagram was drawn crookedly, with various unbelievable annotations marked next to it.
"First, you need a scrapped V8 engine. It's in the mall for 2,000 Contribution Points each. Don't think it's expensive; this is faith."
"Then, a lowest-grade mana crystal—the kind you guys grabbed by the pound from the Mage Tower. Crush it and use it as fuel."
"The most critical part is this 'Goblin Skull Pressure Regulator.' The production method is simple: grind a Goblin Shaman's skull into powder, mix it with the Slime of two different types of Slimes, stir it forty-nine times under the moonlight, and then dry it with dragon dung..."
This set of theories was full of points to criticize and metaphysical elements. A normal person would only see it as the graffiti of a mental patient.
But for this group of players who had already been dazed by speed and passion, this was a divine oracle!
"I get it! So the reason my previous experiments always exploded was that I didn't use dragon dung to dry it!"
"Stir under the moonlight? What if it's daytime now? Damn it, forget it! Stir first and talk later!"
"Who has Slime Slime? Ice and fire attributes! I'll trade rare Ore with you!"
Wang Wei's "Open Source Plan" was like a spark that ignited an armory.
He never thought about relying on this technology to monopolize and make money. As a pure research maniac, what he wanted to see more was what kind of strange "magically modified" versions his inventions would give birth to in the hands of these lawless players.
He treated all the players as his free, 24-hour non-stop experimental guinea pigs who came with their own creativity!
Instantly, the entire art style of the Goblin Fortress completely collapsed.
This was no longer some adventurer's main city in a fantasy world; it had become a giant, open-air auto repair shop and junk recycling station filled with a Wasteland-punk style.
"Clang! Clang! Clang!"
The sound of hammers striking metal rose and fell one after another, never-ending.
"Boom!"
From time to time, a violent explosion would occur in some corner, rising into a black mushroom cloud, accompanied by several player figures disappearing into white light and the gloating laughter of the surrounding crowd.
"Where's my V8 engine? Where's the engine I just bought from the mall! Who the Hell swiped it!"
"Brother! Lend me a welding torch! The angle of this dragon skull headlight isn't quite right!"
"Wheels! Not enough wheels! Who has an extra round shield? Take it off and use it as a wheel!"
The players displayed their perverted hands-on ability and "patchwork aesthetics" honed in the Wasteland world.
Everything that could be used was installed on their beloved bikes by them.
A Warrior player took off his most precious tower shield engraved with his Family crest and installed it on the side of the motorcycle, calling it "Side-impact Armor."
A Necromancer tied a complete skeleton soldier frame, which he had finally managed to assemble, to the front of the bike as a "3D Skeleton Hood Ornament." Two glowing stones were stuffed into the skeleton's eye sockets, making it look particularly creepy at night.
There were even more extreme cases: a guild composed of lifestyle players couldn't find enough engines, so they simply carried out a giant bathtub removed from the Mage Tower. They installed four wheels under the bathtub and tied over a dozen "Small Blasting Flame Runes" to the back, relying on the thrust generated by the rune explosions to move forward. The driver even had to wear a fireproof suit to drive it.
In just one short day.
The game's art style in "Void World" took a 180-degree sharp turn from "Lord of the Rings" and "Dungeons & Dragons" and sped directly into the sets of "Mad Max" and "Road Rash."
When dusk fell and the setting sun dyed the entire grassland a golden-red color.
An unprecedented grand assembly began in the square of the Goblin Fortress.
Hundreds, even thousands of magically modified vehicles with various and strange shapes drove out from every corner of the fortress and converged in the square.
Their paint jobs were all over the place: some had graffiti painted with monster blood, some had curses written with fluorescent mushroom juice, and some had simply plastered posters of beautiful women from who-knows-where all over the vehicle bodies.
Their engine sounds were even more chaotic, with the dull roar of V8 engines, the crisp rumble of twin-cylinder engines, and some "putt-putt-putt" noises like tractors from things no one could identify.
Every one of these steel monsters was emitting billowing black smoke. Sparks and pale blue magic halos occasionally spat out from the exhaust pipes, making the entire square foul with smoke and filled with the pungent smell of engine oil and ozone.
The players also changed into a set of "outfits."
They wore tight leather clothes they had sewn themselves from various monster skins, with metal studs and monster fangs riveted on. They carried exaggerated shoulder pads made of bone on their shoulders, wore goggles on their faces, and tied colorful bandanas on their heads.
Everyone looked like a biker who had just fought their way out of a post-apocalyptic Wasteland.
Li Qiang drove his "tyrant no. 1," which had already been modified three times, and slowly drove onto a high platform made of shipping containers amidst a crowd.
He looked at the excited, fanatical, and lawless faces below the stage, and at the mechanical jungle composed of steel, fire, and dreams. An unprecedented surge of pride swelled in his chest.
He turned off the engine, jumped off the bike, and held the power hammer in his hand high.
The entire field instantly fell silent.
Everyone's eyes were focused on him.
"Brothers!"
Li Qiang roared with all his might.
"Look at yourselves! Look at the partners beneath you!"
"We are the fourth calamity!"
"We are the Infrastructure Maniacs!"
"Wherever we go, we bring civilization (demolition)!"
"Now, we have the Wheels of Fire! We have steel mounts! There is no longer any place on this continent that we cannot go!"
"Tell me! What do you want to do?!"
Below the stage, a player stood up excitedly, pointed in the direction of the distant Elven forest, and roared at the top of his lungs: "Rev the streets!"
"Yes! Rev the streets!"
"Go burn rubber at the gates of Silvermoon City!"
"Let them also hear this symphony of the Industrial Revolution!"
The players echoed frantically, pressing the various horns on their vehicles with force.
The piercing sounds of horns, whistles, and strange cries merged into one.
Li Qiang pressed his hands down with satisfaction, signaling everyone to be quiet.
"Revving the streets is just an appetizer!"
He pulled up the System map and pointed to the area mentioned in the new version preview—the Silent Stone Forest.
"The GM just updated the coordinates! The entrance to the Dwarven Underground Kingdom is deep within that stone forest!"
"But from here to the stone forest, it's a full three hundred kilometers! There are gobi deserts, canyons, and monster-infested swamps in between! Relying on two legs, you won't even get there by next year!"
"But now!"
Li Qiang suddenly stomped on the engine hood of his motorcycle.
"We have this!"
"Tonight, what we're going to do isn't revving the streets!"
"Instead, we will form the first motorized expeditionary force in the history of 'Void World'!"
"We will be like a bolt of black lightning, tearing through the night of this continent! We will let those natives see what speed is! What power is!"
"Our goal is—"
"The stars... ah, wait!"
"It's the Golden City of the Dwarves! It's the mechanical dragon underground!"
He held the power hammer high and pointed in the direction where the sun was setting.
"Lads!"
"Start your engines!"
"Let's set out!"
"Go give those shorties who only know how to hide in caves and strike iron a warm and burning greeting from the surface civilization!!!"
Li Qiang's voice was like lighting the final fuse.
"Ura!!!"
"Charge! For the Horde... wait, for the Dwarven Treasure Trove!"
"Overturn the mechanical dragon! Disassemble it and install mechanical wings for me!"
Boom—!
Boom boom boom boom boom—!!!
Over a thousand magic engines were pushed to their limits at the same time!
The deafening roar converged together, forming a terrifying sound wave that rose into the sky and dispersed the evening clouds on the horizon!
The entire Goblin Fortress trembled violently in this sound wave!
This unprecedented biker army composed of players, filled with chaos and violent aesthetics, was like an out-of-control steel torrent. Amidst a cloud of rolling dust and blue tail flames, they rushed out of the fortress gates and launched their first expedition toward the distant darkness!
And in Silvermoon City, dozens of kilometers away.
Princess Serana, who was on the balcony looking worriedly at the human camp in the distance shrouded in black smoke, suddenly heard that roar coming from the horizon that seemed to tear the earth apart.
The white jade railing beneath her feet was vibrating slightly.
"That... what is that sound?"
Her eyes widened in terror, and her face instantly turned pale.
"Could it be... that ancient giant beast that has been sleeping for a thousand years... has awakened?"
