192: Chapter 192 Daji is yours now

She wore a set of plain white undergarments, with a purple queen's robe draped casually over them. Her long hair was not tied up, the waterfall of black silk loosely held behind her head with a single simple white jade hairpin.

She was turning sideways to wring out a cloth, with heavy dark circles visible under her eyes.

As if sensing something, she suddenly turned her head.

Their eyes met.

Queen Jiang froze instantly.

The cloth in her hand fell into the bronze basin with a splash, sending up a few droplets of water.

She stared blankly as Su Chen slowly opened his dark eyes—those phoenix eyes that were usually as calm as an ancient well now widened instantly.

Then, they quickly clouded over with a hazy mist of tears.

"Your Majesty...?"

Su Chen wanted to smile at her, to tell her "I'm fine."

But his throat was so dry he couldn't make a sound, forcing him to abandon that plan.

He could only blink very slightly.

Just then, as if hearing movement in the outer room...

The bead curtain of the inner chamber rattled, and Su Daji came running out in a hurry.

She had indeed obediently changed her clothes, but those clothes...

As Su Chen's gaze shifted slightly, he couldn't help but catch his breath.

Queen Jiang looked back at Su Daji and gritted her silver teeth.

Damn it!

She had forgotten that this vixen's daily job in the palace was to seduce the King.

Asking her to change clothes—what kind of decent thing could she possibly come up with?

Su Daji had changed into an extremely thin, almost transparent light purple gauze dress.

The garment barely managed to cover her exquisite and breathtakingly curvaceous body.

Beneath the gauze, she wore absolutely nothing.

Her snow-white skin, slender waist, straight and long legs, and even the towering peaks on her chest were all faintly visible under the candlelight, incredibly alluring.

She had just come from the bath; water still dripped from the ends of her hair, clinging wetly to her smooth neck and collarbone. She looked like a lotus rising from the water, or a demon fox under the moon, exuding a natural and pure charm.

But on that beautiful little face, tear stains were still fresh and her eyes were red and swollen.

However, this didn't detract from her beauty at all.

Instead, it added a touch of pitiable vulnerability.

"Your Majesty, you're awake! You're really awake!"

Su Daji didn't notice how disheveled she was at all, or rather, she didn't care.

Uh... or perhaps she had intended for this effect all along.

She lunged straight to the bedside.

She wanted to take Su Chen's hand but was afraid of hurting him, her hands hovering in mid-air, lost for what to do.

She just widened her tearful fox-like eyes and gazed at him greedily, as if to brand his current appearance deep into her heart.

"Your servant... your servant isn't dreaming, am I?"

"Your Majesty, look at Demon Concubine Su Daji, please say something..."

As she spoke, her tears began to fall again.

Su Chen's gaze shifted with difficulty away from that stunning "scenery."

Truth be told, although he had played plenty of suggestive games with Su Daji before...

He hadn't yet had the chance to pick and taste this fully ripened peach.

There were some things he was seeing for the first time.

For example...

It turned out this little flirtatious fox, Su Daji, was actually a Hairless Warrior!

Su Chen swallowed hard and looked back at Jiang Li.

The Queen wasn't wearing much fabric either, but at least the parts that needed to be covered were covered.

Except...

A stunning Queen, the mother of the nation, wearing disheveled, luxurious formal robes.

She was clearly noble and dignified, yet she displayed the appearance of a delicate woman carefully tending to him.

Who could possibly maintain their composure?

The consequence of all this was...

Su Chen, who had been asleep for three months... (this isn't a grammatical error, figure it out yourselves.)

Queen Jiang, being closer to Su Chen, was the first to notice this.

Although she was still a virgin, she was, after all, a lady from a prestigious family.

She quickly regained her composure, merely turning her face slightly to avoid the "spectacular view" on Su Chen's side, though a faint blush quietly crept onto the tips of her ears.

She wrung out another cloth and walked back to the bedside, her tone returning to calm.

"Your Majesty, you've just woken up. Don't talk too much."

"Demon Concubine Su Daji, put on your outer robe first so you don't catch a cold, and don't disturb the King's rest."

Su Daji only realized this belatedly.

She looked down at herself first, knowing how attractive her current appearance was to a normal man.

A flush of crimson instantly spread across her face.

But instead of shying away, she bit her lip, raised her tearful eyes, and looked at Su Chen.

Her voice was soft and sweet, with a hint of a sob.

"Your Majesty..."

"During the days you were unconscious, Sister Li and I took care of you personally."

"I know exactly where you were injured and where it hurts."

"I even personally handled your daily sponge baths, changing your dressings, and... personal needs."

"Where you have scars, which parts of you are beautiful, and even..."

"Your servant has seen it all clearly and remembers it all vividly."

Her voice grew quieter and her face redder as she spoke.

Yet her tears flowed even more fiercely.

As if she were stating something extremely aggrieved yet profoundly important.

"So... so Your Majesty cannot leave Demon Concubine Su Daji behind again."

"You are already Demon Concubine Su Daji's man, from head to toe, inside and out."

"Su! Da! Ji!"

Queen Jiang finally couldn't take it anymore and barked in a low voice, her cheeks flushed, whether from shame or anger.

She had to admit.

In this regard, as a refined lady, she really was no match for Su Daji.

That day when she dragged Su Chen back, she was still feeling shy about having to strip him naked to treat his wounds and see things she shouldn't see.

Su Daji had asked, what was there that shouldn't be seen?

With that, the vixen had stripped Su Chen's clothes clean in a few quick motions.

This had left her both embarrassed and angry.

Since Su Daji had eaten first, she was naturally left with only the leftovers.

Thinking about how she hadn't gotten her fill, Queen Jiang pressed the cloth heavily onto Su Chen's forehead, her strength unintentionally increasing.

"Su Daji, what nonsense are you spouting?"

"The King has just woken up and needs rest."

"If you say any more of these crude words, I will have someone escort you out."

Su Daji acted as if she hadn't heard, just staring blankly at Su Chen as if she wanted to swallow him with her eyes.

Su Chen listened to the two women's conversation, a mix of tearful complaints, confessions, and mysterious rivalry.

He felt the pressure on his forehead increasing due to Jiang Li's embarrassment and Su Daji's gaze that was hot enough to burn through him.

He couldn't help but tighten below.

On his face, which was originally as pale as paper, two unnatural flushes of red finally rose belatedly.

Although he was a Galgame expert, his playstyle hadn't reached such Western levels yet.

Heavens... what exactly did he go through while he was unconscious?

(Update progress 2/3!)

(In a couple of days, Old Su should be getting some 'meat.' Wait for me to figure out how to 'elbow strike shenhe' to show everyone more.)

(If it doesn't pass, then I can only let shenhe prepare a potassium permanganate and arsenic stir-fried scavenger meal, and be carried away for refinement after seven days.)
