125: My husband, are you leaving already?

"Husband."

Her voice was as light as a wisp of smoke, as soft as a handful of clouds, drifting and curling into his ears. Yet, it felt like the finest goose down, gently scratching at the tip of Qin Feng's heart, sending a ticklish sensation straight to the bottom of his soul.

"Are you leaving already?"

Hearing this, a warm smile bloomed in Qin Feng's heart, and his eyes held a knowing playfulness—his Luo Luo Wife was acting spoiled with him.

"Why?"

The corners of his lips curved into a lazy and teasing arc. His gaze burned as he stared at the person before him, his tone carrying a deliberate touch of banter, "Could it be that Luo Luo Wife is reluctant to let me go?"

A thin flush of red spread across Bai Luoli's pretty face, so imperceptible and fleeting, like a swan passing over, vanishing in an instant. She shot him a sideways glance, her brows slightly furrowed, and chided softly: "Glib-tongued."

Her voice paused. In those phoenix eyes, which were usually as sharp as cold blades and looked down upon all living things, a complex and indistinguishable light suddenly flashed—resembling both reproach and resentment, while hiding a hint of imperceptible concern and scrutiny.

"I'm asking you." She raised her eyes to look at him, her voice dropping a few degrees, every word clear:

"What do you plan to do next?"

"Are you going to find that iceberg-like Senior Sister of yours to heal your wounds?"

"Or... do you plan to take all four of them into your pocket?"

She didn't finish the second half of her sentence. Her tone rose slightly at the end, and the remaining unspoken meaning burned in the air like a prairie fire, clear and self-evident.

The smile on Qin Feng's face faded slowly at this moment, and his gaze sank.

He knew that even though Bai Luoli had been wholeheartedly treated by him and thoroughly conquered, deep down, she remained that Queen of the Nine Heavens who held the power of life and death, was decisive in killing, and was accustomed to controlling everything.

He met her phoenix eyes, which were veiled in scrutiny yet hid expectations. His heart instantly cleared, and a thousand thoughts coalesced into a single decision.

The next second, Qin Feng smiled again. That smile was calm and open, his eyes filled with self-assured certainty and sharpness, without any concealment.

"Luolo, don't worry." He raised his hand, his fingertips gently brushing her temple, his tone gentle yet steady,

"As for Senior Sister Miao Ling, I have my own way of handling it."

"Good."

Bai Luoli stared into his eyes. In those phoenix eyes, which were as sharp as knives, all scrutiny and coldness faded in an instant, replaced entirely by an inseparable indulgence and doting, lingering and scorching.

"This Seat will wait and see." She spoke slowly, her voice low and soft, yet carrying the unique nobility of a queen,

"Let's see just how many more surprises this little scoundrel of yours is hiding that this Seat is not yet aware of."

Her voice paused. The corners of her lips slowly curled into a bewitching and meaningful arc, the corners of her eyes lifting slightly, radiating a sly charm. Her breathing drew closer, and her warm breath brushed against Qin Feng's ear, carrying a seductive numbness.

"However... before you set off to find that iceberg Senior Sister of yours to heal."

Her fingertips lightly traced his Adam's apple. The pressure was light, yet carried an irresistible control. Each word was enunciated, her tone lazy yet dangerous,

"Shouldn't you first settle the reward you owe this Seat properly?"

Qin Feng was suddenly stunned upon hearing this.

Reward? What reward?

He stared blankly at Bai Luoli's pretty face, which was clearly written with slyness and ill intent. A strong, bad premonition suddenly rose in his heart, a chill mixed with heat instantly climbing up his spine.

Just as this thought arose—

A terrifying, mountain-like power suddenly imprisoned his entire body! That power was incomparably domineering; in front of this power, his cultivation could not even muster a struggle, like an ant trying to shake a mountain, all in vain.

Immediately after, his body moved without any control, as if guided by an invisible hand, drifting straight toward the cold and majestic nine dragon throne.

"Luolo! You... what are you trying to do?!" Qin Feng's heart jolted, and he spoke out, his tone carrying a touch of panicked astonishment.

"What am I doing?"

Bai Luoli let out a low, soft laugh, the sound crisp and delicate, tinged with the slyness and charm of a little devil. She walked slowly to his front, her skirt swaying slightly, her lotus steps graceful, and then she slowly bent her knees to crouch down, leveling her gaze with his.

Her slender, onion-white index finger, as if carved from warm jade, lifted gently, accurately hooking his chin with a force that carried a touch of irresistible dominance.

In those phoenix eyes, all coldness and nobility had long since faded, leaving only a raging flame, a scorching tide of passion surging, her gaze burning as if to melt him entirely within it.

She stared at his panicked and shy eyes, her red lips parting slightly, breathing out like an orchid, enunciating every word, her voice soft and bewitching to the bone, carrying a bone-eroding allure, clearly falling into his ears:

"Of course, it is... to collect all the rewards that this Seat is owed."

...

I do not know how much time had passed.

Qin Feng lowered his eyes, looking at the stunning face of the person in his arms, his eyes filled with gentleness and pity. He leaned down and pressed a soft and precious kiss on her smooth, delicate forehead. As the kiss landed, it carried a low, soft sigh.

After lingering for a while, he tidied her messy hair and clothes, carefully settled her down, only then restraining the tenderness in his eyes, turned around, and walked slowly toward the outside of the palace—
