Chapter 110: 3x 4-Star Magical BeastThe Glacial Titan’s bone-rattling howl reverberated through the vibrant terrain, shaking the earth and sending a chill down Adrian’s spine.

For a moment, silence stretched, an unnatural pause that set his instincts on edge. Then, the ground trembled anew, and two hulking figures emerged from the behind the Titan, their silhouettes mirroring its colossal form.

Their crystalline spines glinted under the sunlight, and their glowing blue eyes locked onto him with predatory intent.

Adrian didn’t need Analyze to know these were 4-Star Magical Beasts as well, their raw power radiating like a storm about to break.

Without warning, all three Titans opened their maws, unleashing a synchronized barrage of ice shards.

~WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!~

The air screamed as countless spear-sized projectiles tore toward Adrian, their sheer volume transforming the clearing into an apocalyptic maelstrom.

The vibrant ground churned under the onslaught, moss and roots shredded as shards were embedded on the soil, sending up clouds of debris.

Adrian’s reflexes kicked in. He mentally returned the mana gun to his [Inventory] as its 3-Star Magic Crystal was exhausted and useless now.

His body surged with mana as he executed the Phantom Flow Technique, twisting and turning with superhuman agility.

His movements were a blur, with afterimages trailing as he wove through the ice storm, each shard missing him by fractions of an inch.



The air hissed with their passage, and the ground erupted around him, but his focus was absolute.

As he dodged, Adrian’s mind raced, scanning for an escape route.

The Titans’ hides made them near-invincible to his current arsenal if he was to approach them.

And while the 3-Star Mana Grenades could pose a threat, the risk was too great.

"If a shard hits a grenade mid-air, it’ll detonate prematurely," he thought, grimacing. "I’d be caught in the blast."

The only viable plan crystallized in his mind. To flee.

But the Titans’ assault was relentless, and finally an ice shard struck him on his shoulder, the impact jarring despite the Power Suit’s protection.

The suit held, but its durability plummeted.

The hit disoriented Adrian, and his rhythm faltered, resulting in more shards to find their mark, each strike a hammer blow that chipped away at the suit’s integrity.

Pain flared through his body, but Adrian gritted his teeth, refusing to fall. "Restore 100% durability!" he commanded in panic as he watched the bar plummet.

A warm sensation enveloped him as the suit glowed faintly, nanites swarming across its surface. Scratches, scorch marks, and dents vanished in seconds, the suit’s black nanomaterial gleaming as if brand-new.

The restoration gave Adrian a little surge of strength, his movements sharpening as he dodged another wave of shards.

He pushed toward the edge of the attack’s perimeter, his Phantom Flow Technique carrying him further from the Titans’ reach.

Each restoration cycle painfully burned through his TP, but survival demanded it. He dodged, restored, and retreated, the suit’s durability fluctuating wildly as shards continued to graze him.

Adrian was nearly clear, just seconds from breaking free to sprint away, when the unexpected happened.

The Titans ceased their barrage. The ice shards stopped and the air fell eerily still.

Adrian skidded to a halt, his breath ragged, confusion flashing through him, as he prepared on how to take advantage of the pause.

"What now?" he muttered, bracing for a devastating follow-up attack.

Instead, the Titans charged. Their massive forms surged forward, the ground quaking under their weight.

Despite their size, their speed was terrifying, closing the hundreds of meters between them in seconds.

Adrian’s eyes widened, but he didn’t hesitate. He had aleead6 materialized three 3-Star Mana Grenades, the moment he noticed their pause, and he was ready to use it.

With a flick, he pulled the pins and hurled them at the approaching Titans, using every ounce of strength to maximize their arc.

Then, he channeled mana into his legs, executing Phantom Flow at full power, sprinting away to create as much distance as possible.

The explosions erupted behind him, a cataclysmic spectacle that lit up the vibrant terrain like a supernova.

The shockwave tore through the ground, uprooting moss and shattering stone, the air quaking with raw power.

The Titans’ crystalline armor cracked and splintered, their regenerative hides overwhelmed by the 3-Star Grenades’ devastating force.

Chunks of ice and stone rained down, the landscape scarred beyond recognition.



The blast’s force reached Adrian despite his distance, flinging him into the air.

He crashed to the ground with a loud thud, and pain spread across his back, while his ears rang from the deafening roar.

The Power Suit absorbed most of the impact, but his body ached. Yet, the Tech Core’s notifications cut through the haze.

Adrian ruffled his hair, wincing as he stood. His eyes widened at the devastation before him.

The crater was massive, the vibrant terrain reduced to a smoldering wasteland by the explosion.

But what was more mind blowing were the corpses of the beasts. They had faced the brunt of the attack, and yet their bodies were in a shocking condition.

The Titans’ corpses, though torn and scorched, were remarkably intact compared to lesser beasts from before.

Before he could inspect further, the System harvested their 4-Star Magic Crystals and stored the bodies in his [Inventory].

"4-Star Crystals," Adrian murmured, already imagining their power when made into grenades.

But he snapped back to reality, his expression sobering.

"That was too close," he said, exhaling. The grenades had obliterated the Titans, but the collateral damage was severe. "It did more harm to the environment than I’d like, but they got the job done."

He paused, glancing at the System map. The mana source’s red dot pulsed tantalizingly close, but the denser clusters of dots ahead warned of greater threats.

"I’ll have to stop here for now," he decided. The prospect of reaching the mana source was thrilling, but reality tempered his ambition.

"I might’ve escaped this time, but only because the Titans paused their attack. Next time, I might not get that luxury."

He grimaced, thinking of the TP he’d burned through. "And I’m only alive because of the suit’s restorations."

Adrian summoned his status panel, his eyes scanning the data.

He sighed, face-palming. "About 13,000 TP wasted," he muttered. The number stung.

He had been saving to upgrade the Factory, but the fight had set him back significantly, delaying his plans.

"It’s not ideal," he said, shaking his head. "But I’ll get there. I just need time."

Despite the Power Suit’s protection, his body ached from the repeated impacts and the crash landing. Bruises throbbed beneath the nanomaterial, and fatigue tugged at his limbs.

"Might as well upgrade the cauldron today and make some pills," he told himself.

With a mental command, Adrian summoned the Magi-Tech Rover.

It materialized before him, its blue-black frame looking as mighty as before.

He climbed into the cockpit, settling into the slightly burnt chair. As he sketched the activation rune, the engine hummed to life.



"Next time, I need a plan," he said, gripping the control yoke. "I have a detailed map now, and I know what I’m up against. I can invent something to tip the scales, and earn more TP while I’m at it."

His plan was clear: retreat to the Frozen Region, where the odds of encountering beasts were slim.

The deep snow offered a perfect hiding spot to access the Factory safely. He pushed the yoke, and the rover surged forward, its rune-etched wheels gripping the vibrant terrain.

The journey back was swift, the volcanic wastelands’ molten rivers and sulfurous haze passing in a blur.

As he crossed into the Frozen Region, the temperature plummeted, the landscape transforming into a vista of ice-cloaked mountains and snow-swept plains.

The Power Suit’s regulators kicked in, shielding him from the bone-chilling cold.

"As long as the suit’s fueled, I’m good," Adrian muttered, his breath fogging briefly before the helmet sealed.

He drove deeper into the region to confirm with his Mana Detectors that there were no trace of mana signatures, and after over ten minutes of doing so, Adrian confirmed that.

He soon found a deep snowdrift nestled between two ice-crusted ridges, perfect for concealment.

He parked the rover, mentally returning it to his [Inventory], and the vehicle vanished, leaving him standing in the powdery snow.

After using the drill to dig a hole deep enough to fit his Capsule, Adrian inserted it there and sealed the hole, before entering into the capsule and laying down.

"Visit Factory," he said, and the world dissolved around him, the Capsule’s interior fading into a swirl of light.
