3: Blast the Trial Field
Chapter 3: Exploding the Training Ground
The Novice Training Ground is accessible to players Level 10 and below.
It is a massive floating platform, with three inner and three outer layers.
Lu Ran appeared in the center of the floating platform, within a ten-meter safe zone.
Moving outwards from the safe zone, the monster level increases by one for each layer, all the way up to Level 10 monsters.
It's worth noting that once you step out of the safe zone and enter combat, you cannot return to the safe zone.
Lu Ran looked around.
Outside the safe zone, Level 1 Pi Pi Pigs roamed.
All monsters here are aggressive; entering their attack range will trigger them.
Although the Pi Pi Pig's attack range is only three meters.
There are many of them.
“No wonder no novices come to the training ground; this is too dangerous!” Lu Ran muttered.
If he accidentally pulled several at once.
Being unable to return to the safe zone during combat, and with novices only having one skill, it would be like waiting for death.

Lu Ran felt no danger at all, with skeletons rampaging around him in three inner and three outer layers.

Lu Ran's eyes lit up, and he eagerly opened his panel.
He didn't even bother looking at the attributes, directly allocating the attribute points to Intelligence, then impatiently checked the skill panel.
Because at Level 5, new skills and new golden affixes would be unlocked!

Since it relies on skeletons for Corpse Explosion, it can be cast as long as there are skeletons, so there's no cooldown. However, it effectively shares the cooldown of Summon Undead.
Most importantly, it consumes no mana!
Currently, Lu Ran, with all his attribute points in Intelligence, and a slight bonus from his plain white equipment, already had 40 spell damage. Corpse Explosion damage was as high as 120!
And it's area damage!
Lu Ran looked at the roaming skeleton horde around him. These weren't skeletons; weren't they a bunch of bombs?
At this point, the monsters Lu Ran was fighting were the Level 5 Rending Hoof Cattle.
They were robust and fierce, with high HP and defense, but also gave high experience.
The speed of the skeletons ganging up on them had slowed down considerably.
Lu Ran intended to test the power of Corpse Explosion.
So, with a thought, a dozen skeletons rushed into the Rending Hoof Cattle herd.
They positioned themselves, surrounding several Rending Hoof Cattle.
Boom!
At the same time, a dozen skeletons exploded simultaneously!
The shockwave from the explosion perfectly covered eight Rending Hoof Cattle.
