157: The Serpent's Opportunity Mission! Upgrade your Shelter!

"Damn it! I really attracted a monster!"

Su Lie muttered to himself.

He looked up at the surrounding Mist, a hint of confusion in his eyes.

Where was the Moon Serpent?

Just as he was searching.

The Mist where he was looking suddenly brightened.

He saw a pair of eyes, like silver moons, appear in Su Lie's line of sight.

These eyes seemed very far away from him, yet also very close.

And at this moment.

A wisp of aura released by the Moon Serpent caused the walls of the Shelter to flicker with light, and the tentacles of the Soul Spirit Tree faintly appeared on the wall surface.

"An interesting Survivor!"

Immediately afterward, a cold voice rang out beside Su Lie's ear.

Boom!

The next second, Su Lie shuddered and fell directly onto the ground.

The Moon Serpent's eyes disappeared.

The prompt from the mist rule reappeared in Su Lie's view.

[Opportunity Mission!]

[The Moon Serpent wishes to trade 10 tons of excrement for your current 32 tons of spinach and 96 tons of cabbage!]

[Upon completing the mission, you will receive a reward of Mist Points, as well as 10 tons of Moon Serpent excrement and one Moon Serpent scale!]

[Note: This mission was triggered by your desires, and such missions are accompanied by tremendous threat.

Note: If you refuse this Opportunity Mission, you will suffer the Moon Serpent's attack!]

"I have no choice!"

Su Lie sighed. This time, he had to accept it, even if he had to hold his nose!

Who knew such a behemoth existed in the sky?

He couldn't help but think of the recent prompt from the mist rule.

His heart tightened.

"It seems the Moon Serpent isn't unable to kill me, but rather wants to play... It discovered resources it needed in my Shelter, which is why this trade occurred!"

Su Lie made a judgment in his heart.

If the Moon Serpent wanted to kill him, it probably would have acted already.

He guessed that he must have jumped into the Moon Serpent's territory, which triggered everything that followed.

Thinking of this.

He entered the Shelter and brought Su Keqing up to the wall.

Rumble!

Under Su Lie's arrangement, Su Keqing placed the 32 tons of spinach and 96 tons of cabbage harvested today onto the wall.

Whoosh!

The next second, a soft moonlight projected out from the Mist.

In the blink of an eye.

The cabbage and spinach instantly vanished.

The prompt from the mist rule jumped into Su Lie's view.

[Congratulations on successfully completing this Opportunity Mission!]

[Reward: 1 million Mist Points!]

[Reward: One Moon Serpent scale!]

Subsequently, a palm-sized white jade scale materialized in Su Lie's hand.

This scale constantly emitted a silver glow.

Su Lie couldn't help but look up and ask in a low voice, "Where is the 10 tons of snake excrement?"

"Master! This should be it, right?"

Su Keqing called out to Su Lie.

In the shadow of an inner corner of the wall beside her, there was a fist-sized spherical crystal.

"Huh?"

Su Lie was startled, looking down: "This is 10 tons?"

He tried to reach out and grab it.

With that grab, he couldn't lift it at all.

This spherical crystal seemed rooted to the wall.

Su Lie rolled his eyes, then looked at its panel.

[Moon in Serpent: Blue Rare Quality; The excrement of the Moon Serpent, which is rumored to control the lesser Silver Moon of the Mist World. 1 piece weighs 10 tons.

Effect: Food for the insect race, Source of the Silver Moon Plague, Mark of Silver Moon Territory.

Note: This excrement is considered Deadly Poison to Survivors, as it contains not only massive amounts of Mist contamination but also a large number of pathogens.

Note: In its spherical state, it will not exhibit power overflow.

Note: Once the sphere is damaged, please move away quickly.]

"This excrement can be used to feed insects?"

Su Lie felt a bit nauseated, especially when he imagined the Rotten Insect Mother he refined eating this stuff; it was as if he had taken a bite himself.

He shook his head, temporarily discarding the unpleasant thoughts.

Su Lie used the ruyi pouch to store this Moon in Serpent.

Afterward.

He looked at the Moon Serpent scale in his hand.

[Moon Serpent Silver Scale: Red God-level Quality; A scale shed from the Moon Serpent's body, containing the Moon Serpent's aura, which can cause all beings of the same rank as the Moon Serpent that you encounter to abandon their attempts to attack you.

Function: You can establish contact with the Moon Serpent through this scale.

Note: This scale is only limited to sacrificial use toward the Moon Serpent. If you arbitrarily disturb the Moon Serpent without other matters, you will be executed by the Moon Serpent.

Note: You can only sacrifice spinach and cabbage to the Moon Serpent!

Note: This is an aura marker. When you possess it, it means you have been remembered by the Moon Serpent.

Note: Do not abandon this scale or trade it, otherwise the Moon Serpent will regard it as you forfeiting its favor and will find an excuse to kill you!

Note: The Moon Serpent belongs to the Neutral faction of monsters. You can try to establish a connection with it through sacrifice, which can allow you to avoid a large amount of threat!]

"I actually provoked another powerful Mist Monster! This Moon Serpent is definitely stronger than the Mountain God. Just a pair of illusory eyes made me feel like I had fallen into hell. If its true body appeared, I probably wouldn't be able to withstand this power at all!"

Su Lie sighed helplessly, placing the Moon Serpent Silver Scale directly into his pocket.

Afterward.

He instructed Su Keqing: "From now on, whenever you harvest cabbage and spinach daily, keep a little and give the rest to me!"

"Yes!"

Su Keqing replied.

Only then did Su Lie return to the Shelter.

When he lay down again.

Su Liya and Su Liuhua walked over briskly. One massaged his legs while the other massaged his arms, as if they had planned it beforehand.

Su Lie opened the Shelter's panel: "I have now completed one sacrifice mission! The remaining sacrifice missions either lack the required resources or lack the mission target!"

"Since I can't upgrade those, I'll upgrade the Shelter first!"

"This time, I should be able to raise it by several levels!"

Saying this.

He took out 1.2 million units of Stone, 1.2 million units of iron, 1.2 million units of wood, and 3.6 million units of level 0 monster crystal.

He first refined the Stone, iron, and wood into mist crystal stone, mist crystal iron, and mist crystal wood, respectively.

Then he took out 100,000 elemental stone and Strengthened all of them into god-tier elemental stone.

Su Lie once again took out 12 million level 0 monster crystal, and after Strengthening them into god-tier resources.

Only then did he open the Shelter's panel again.

"Upgrade!"

Su Lie chose to upgrade the Shelter.

[Buzz!]

In an instant, the Shelter flashed with light.

Its overall area doubled compared to before.

The diameter reached 2,542 meters.

The main building increased from 6 floors to 7 floors.

The basement increased from 2 levels to 3 levels.

The length and width of the secret garden increased to 640 meters.

The Exorcism Runes increased from Level 7 to Level 8.

The height of the Watchtower increased from 40 meters to 80 meters.

The thickness of the wall increased from 80 meters to 160 meters, and the height increased from 40 meters to 80 meters.

The courtyard soil achieved Level 3 purification.

The depth of the underground wall expanded to 40 meters.

The Mist Defense Value increased from 100,000 points to 200,000 points.

The Mist Safety Level and comfort level did not increase.

In addition to this.

Among the 14 special effects, the Dispelling Level of the Dispelling Effect increased from 45 to Level 50.

The Suppression Effect on invaders' power increased from 60% to 65%.

Furthermore, an additional special effect was gained.

[Special Effect: Corrosion Immunity: Everything within the Shelter is immune to corrosive power of any intensity.]

At the same time.

The materials required for the Shelter upgrade doubled.

Su Lie briefly looked at the Shelter's panel and performed a Enhance on the Shelter.

Buzz!

In the blink of an eye, the Shelter once again burst forth with light.

This time.

The Shelter's Mist Defense Value increased from 200,000 to 1 million points.

The Mist Safety Level increased from Level 1 to Level 2.

The Shelter gained another special effect.

[Special Effect: Control Immunity: Everything within the Shelter is immune to control power in any form!]

"The effect after Enhance is not very significant!"

Seeing this, Su Lie couldn't help but narrow his eyes.

He simply summarized the information from this upgrade for the time being.

He once again took out materials, refining 2.4 million mist crystal iron, 2.4 million mist crystal wood, and 2.4 million mist crystal stone.

He Strengthened 200,000 god-tier elemental stone and 24 million god-tier monster crystal.

"Upgrade!"

Su Lie looked at the Shelter's panel and upgraded the Shelter once more...
