47: Demon Ancestor's Wrath

After the feast.

Tyrant Immortal Emperor sat alone in the main tent, a faint immortal light flowing over the gilded Coiling Dragon Chair.

Outside the tent, the heavenly soldiers gradually dispersed, leaving only a few wisps of immortal music drifting with the wind. The nectar and jade dew remained on the table, and the amber cup reflected the Immortal Emperor's deep eyes.

The bead curtain moved slightly, and a voice transmission pierced through: "Wind Realm Master Feng Zhan requests an audience with Tyrant Immortal Emperor."

"Enter." Tyrant Immortal Emperor tapped the table with his finger, and the nine-layered barrier opened at his command.

Feng Zhan stepped inside on the azure cloud-patterned carpet, the hidden wind patterns embroidered on his moon-white immortal robe appearing and disappearing with his steps.

Feng Zhan stopped ten paces from the imperial desk and bowed with his hands clasped: "Greetings, My Lord." His black iron bracers collided with his jade belt, making a clear and crisp sound.

The Immortal Emperor raised his hand slightly: "Rise." The sun and moon patterns embroidered with gold thread on his sleeves shimmered under the candlelight.

As Feng Zhan straightened up, he noticed the map of the Immortal Realm's territory floating on the Immortal Emperor's desk, with the Wind Realm's territory glowing with a newly restored pale green light.

"My Lord," Feng Zhan's fingertips unconsciously rubbed the jade pendant at his waist, "now that the Wind Realm has returned to the Immortal Realm, I wonder..." He paused, tightening his grip on the jade pendant, "what rules should be followed?"

Tyrant Immortal Emperor stared at his slightly pale knuckles, a faint smile playing on his lips.

Brushing his immortal sleeve, Tyrant Immortal Emperor said, "First, change the Wind Realm's flag to the Immortal Realm's flag; second, pay taxes; third..." The golden book flipped open, and the characters of the heavenly rules moved like living things, "if realm rules conflict with heavenly rules, the heavenly rules shall prevail."

Fine sweat broke out on Feng Zhan's forehead, but he did not dare to wipe it under Tyrant Immortal Emperor's gaze. Feng Zhan said solemnly, "This subordinate will certainly keep it in mind."

"In the territory of the Immortal Realm, there is no favoritism." Tyrant Immortal Emperor suddenly stood up, and the tent was instantly filled with immortal majesty.

Tyrant Immortal Emperor walked to the floating territory map and pointed his finger at the border between the Wind Realm and the Demon Realm: "Now I need you to do two things. First, mobilize five hundred thousand elites from the Wind Realm for my command. Second, build a cross-realm teleportation array in the Wind Realm first."

Feng Zhan's pupils shrank slightly, instantly understanding that this meant deploying troops against the Demon Realm. He knelt on one knee: "Five hundred thousand elites will be ready within three days." The green jade floor reflected his tense profile.

Tyrant Immortal Emperor returned to the desk and picked up the half-cooled nectar: "Any further objections?"

"This subordinate takes his leave." Feng Zhan backed away three steps before turning around. As the tent curtain was lifted, he heard the crisp sound of the Immortal Emperor lightly tapping the jade cup... Tyrant Immortal Emperor took out an ancient mirror from his internal Small World; it was the time-space divine mirror.

The divine mirror floated in the Void Realm, its surface flowing with hazy time-space power, as if it contained endless years.

Tyrant Immortal Emperor tapped his fingertip, injecting a wisp of immortal power into it. The mirror surface immediately rippled like a disturbed lake.

After a short while, a majestic and blurred figure gradually solidified.

It was a man wearing a nine-dragon imperial robe, with deep facial features and eyes like torches, surrounded by a vast imperial majesty.

This person was the current Heavenly Emperor, the Supreme Existence who ruled the Immortal Realm.

Tyrant Immortal Emperor bowed slightly, cupped his hands, and said respectfully, "Your minister, Hegemon, greets Your Majesty."

The Heavenly Emperor's gaze was indifferent as he raised his hand: "Rise." His voice was deep and majestic, as if it could pierce through time and space to reach one's heart.

Tyrant Immortal Emperor straightened up, a flicker of thought crossing his eyes, and then said in a deep voice, "Reporting to Your Majesty, the Wind Realm has been conquered by your minister. Order has been preliminary established. I wonder what the next step should be?"

The Heavenly Emperor nodded slightly, his eyes showing a hint of approval: "My Beloved Minister has rendered great service, and I am very pleased." He pondered for a moment and continued, "The Wind Realm is of vital importance. Station yourself there for now, reorganize the military, and await my decree."

"Your minister obeys the decree," Tyrant Immortal Emperor responded solemnly.

Tyrant Immortal Emperor's mind was filled with many thoughts. Although the Wind Realm had been taken, powerful enemies still surrounded the other realms, and the future situation remained unclear.

However, since the Heavenly Emperor had made arrangements, he would naturally comply.

The Heavenly Emperor's figure gradually faded, and the radiance of the mirror surface also dissipated.

Tyrant Immortal Emperor put away the time-space divine mirror, stood with his hands behind his back, looked toward the endless starry river in the distance, and a flash of determination crossed his eyes.

He knew that the real challenge might have only just begun... Deep within the Ten Thousand Demon Palace, in a dark side hall, Devilish Qi as thick as ink rolled incessantly.

Nine Netherworld Lamps hanging from the ceiling shook violently, casting distorted shadows.

The Demon Ancestor stood in the center of the hall, surrounded by eleven dark purple demon rings, each containing power that could destroy heaven and earth. His roar shook the entire palace: "Useless, you are all useless!"

The demon dragon reliefs carved on the stone pillars began to crack under this pressure, and fine stone chips rustled down.

The demon soldiers guarding outside the hall all knelt down, their foreheads touching the ground, not daring to look directly at that heaven-toppling demonic majesty.

Even the flocks of blood crows that circled above the Ten Thousand Demon Palace year-round scattered in panic, leaving behind a few falling black feathers.

Grand Void Demon Emperor stood silently to the side, his fingers as pale as bone clenched into fists.

Grand Void Demon Emperor watched his father's face, distorted by anger, those eyes burning with purple flames revealing a shivering coldness.

When the Demon Ancestor's aura calmed slightly, he took a step forward, his robes making a faint rustling sound.

"Father," Grand Void Demon Emperor's voice sounded as if it came from the abyss, "the Wind Realm has been occupied. If we don't send troops now, once the Immortal Realm gains a firm footing..." He paused, outlining a map of the Wind Realm's terrain in the void, "I'm afraid not only will the Wind Realm be lost, but even the neighboring Shadow Realm and Blood Fiend Realm will fall one after another."

The Demon Ancestor sneered and casually crushed the floating terrain map. As bits of light scattered, he said in a deep voice, "Send troops? Send who?" His tone carried obvious mockery. "Dragon Demon? Heavenly Demon?" With every name he spoke, the temperature in the hall dropped by a degree. "Do you think they can stop Carefree Immortal Emperor and Thunder Emperor?"

Grand Void Demon Emperor's expression changed slightly.

"Father," he lowered his voice, "our Demon Realm still has two who have cultivated Eleven Supreme Heavenly Fates..."

"Shut up." The Demon Ancestor turned abruptly, his cloak whipping up a gust of blood-scented wind. "Those two old things—one is hiding deep in the Burial Demon Abyss, and the other is in the Death Desert. Even I cannot summon them. Unless..." The purple flames in his eyes surged, "unless the Immortal Realm army invades the Demon Realm, only then is it possible."

The hall fell into a dead silence, with only the Demon Ancestor's heavy breathing echoing.

"But this time is different," Grand Void Demon Emperor gathered his courage, "the Immortal Realm has already occupied most of the realms surrounding us. They..."

The Demon Ancestor raised his hand to interrupt, a gesture that seemed casual but caused the space within ten zhang to distort. "Then you go try," his voice suddenly became terrifyingly calm, "go to the Burial Demon Abyss and the Death Desert, and see if you can summon those two 'Supreme Existences'."

Grand Void Demon Emperor gave a deep bow, and as he turned, his cloak drew a sharp arc. He stepped toward the hall door, his footsteps exceptionally clear in the empty hall.

The Demon Ancestor looked at his son's departing back and suddenly gave a bitter smile.

"Silly child..." the Demon Ancestor murmured in a low voice, audible only to himself. He ran his hand over the hideous demon dragon skull on the throne, feeling the icy touch. "Those old monsters won't shed a single drop of blood for someone else's war unless it touches their own interests..."

Outside the hall, the blood moon hung in the sky.

Grand Void Demon Emperor stood on the star-gazing platform at the highest point of the Ten Thousand Demon Palace, looking toward the Burial Demon Abyss and the Death Desert.

There, black mist swirled, and two heaven-piercing demon pillars could be seen faintly reaching into the clouds.

Grand Void Demon Emperor took a deep breath and turned into a streak of black light, soaring away.
