Liu Xinlan kicked out at him, snapping, "Are you trying to have your cake and eat it too? You say he's bad news, but do you have any proof?"

He could even see the fine pores on Liu Xinlan's face, as well as her soft, rosy skin.

At such close range, Jiang Chenfeng's heart began to race. He subconsciously tilted his chair back to create some distance and said, "Yeah! I chased you for three years, and you never gave me a pleasant look, so I don't plan on chasing you anymore! Is it wrong to stop chasing you?"

"If you just kept at it, maybe I would have been moved by your sincerity," Liu Xinlan said, pressing her hand onto his chair and leaning in close, staring intensely into his eyes.
