345: The competition is fake, but fleecing the whole world is real!

Zhang Chen's mind went blank.

He was still reeling from Mo Yan's declaration, 'Those who follow me prosper, those who defy me perish,' and hadn't fully recovered.

Auction?

Why an auction at a time like this?

Mo Yan saw his confusion and explained:

"Zhang Chen, why do you think an S-class space-type Genius from Eagle Country would appear in H City?"

Zhang Chen was startled and subconsciously replied, "To investigate the Holy Land's true nature, and also..."

"To get a good ranking in the Grand Competition and buy their country some breathing room."

"That's just on the surface."

Mo Yan shook his head.

"I ask you, if a Lord or Professional from a Qi system..."

"Opened a treasure chest and got a mage skill book, what would he do?"

Zhang Chen thought for a moment and replied, "He might look for someone to trade with, or sell it."

"If he can't find a channel, it can only rot in the Warehouse."

"Exactly."

Mo Yan snapped his fingers.

"When Blue Star and the Lord World merged, rules intertwined, and there are more than a hundred power systems."

"Qi, magic, abilities, technology, Cultivation System, martial Dao... all sorts of things."

"They can only specialize in one system."

"So, what happened to the large amount of equipment, blueprints, skill books, and Materials that didn't belong to their system, which they obtained from opening chests and clearing dungeons?"

Zhang Chen instantly understood!

These things, to the person who owned them, were "trash."

But to another person who needed them, they were priceless treasures!

Because at that time, the rules in the Lord World were different, and worlds were isolated.

Such a trading market simply didn't exist before!

And now, Mo Yan intended to use this globally watched Grand Competition to personally create such a market!

"You mean..." Zhang Chen's voice trembled.

"My second goal is to hold an unprecedented global large-scale auction."

"I want all the Lords in the world to bring their best hidden treasures to H City."

"Those treasures that they can't use themselves but are reluctant to throw away."

"For example, Cultivation Techniques, Pill Formulas, and architectural blueprints from the Cultivation System."

Zhang Chen felt his breathing stop.

He finally understood Mo Yan's true intention.

The 300 million gold coins in the competition prize pool's "management fee" was not the main point at all!

That was just an appetizer!

The real feast was this auction!

Through this auction, Mo Yan could easily screen and collect the Cultivation System resources he most needed from Lords all over the world!

This was more than ten thousand times more efficient than him searching the world himself!

What was even more terrifying was that this was a conspiracy!

Everyone knew he would profit from it, but everyone couldn't refuse!

Because they also urgently needed a platform to monetize the useless "trash" in their hands!

"But... this way, powerhouses from other systems will also become stronger through this auction..." Zhang Chen voiced his concern.

"So what?"

Mo Yan retorted.

"No matter how strong they become, can they become strong as fast as I can?"

One sentence left Zhang Chen speechless.

Yes.

In the face of absolute strength, any conspiracy, any so-called development, was just a joke.

When everyone was still fighting tooth and nail for an Epic piece of equipment...

Mo Yan was already considering how to incorporate the entire world into his resource supply system.

The gap in their perspectives was like heaven and earth!

"You think about the specific rules."

Mo Yan instructed indifferently.

"I'll just mention a few points."

"For all successfully auctioned items..."

"I, as the platform provider, will take a ten percent transaction fee."

Zhang Chen's heart suddenly clenched.

Ten percent!

It didn't sound like much.

But what if the total transaction amount reached ten billion gold coins?

A hundred billion?

"And out of that ten percent, I'll give your official side two tenths.

A hardship fee."

Zhang Chen's eyes instantly widened.

Give them two tenths?

That would be two percent of the total transaction amount!

If... if the total transaction amount was ten billion gold coins, they would net two hundred million gold coins!

The competition's management fee was only three hundred million, this... Zhang Chen felt like he was about to faint.

Happiness came too suddenly!

"The minimum quality of resources for auction is Rare grade.

The starting price will be assessed by Professional personnel organized by your official side, striving for fairness and impartiality."

"Auction currency will mainly be gold coins or elemental stones."

"If someone doesn't have enough money, they can exchange equivalent resources with your official side."

"You can charge a certain service fee for this; I don't care how much."

Mo Yan added, one point after another.

Each point made Zhang Chen's heart beat faster.

Especially the last one!

This was equivalent to handing over the right to exchange resources worldwide to their Dragon Country officials!

The profits and value involved were immeasurable!

They could seize this opportunity to stockpile a large amount of resources scarce in Dragon Country.

At the same time, they could "sell" some unnecessary resources at high prices to foreign Lords who urgently needed money.

The profits from these transactions would be astonishing!

Moreover, it would further consolidate the central position of Dragon Country and H City in the world!

Zhang Chen looked at Mo Yan now, no longer knowing what words to use to describe his feelings.

Prodigy?

Devil?

With a flick of his fingers, he stirred the global landscape, manipulating the world's wealth and resources in the palm of his hand.

"Understood?" Mo Yan asked.

"Un... understood!" Zhang Chen stood at attention and saluted excitedly, his voice changing pitch.

"Go do it."

"Yes! I guarantee the mission will be completed!"

Zhang Chen turned and rushed out of Cangming City at the fastest speed of his life.

He had to immediately report this news, which was a hundred times more shocking than the "exorbitant entry fee," to the higher-ups!

He could already foresee the bewildered expressions on the faces of world leaders when this plan was laid before them.

And Dragon Country would gain unimaginable huge benefits in this global carnival led by Mo Yan!

...Dragon Country, Capital, Supreme Conference Room.

When Zhang Chen finished reporting Mo Yan's "Auction Plan" word for word via encrypted communication...

All the high-level bigwigs, including the Supreme Leader who remained calm even when Mount Tai collapsed before him, were stunned.

"Prodigy... truly a Prodigy..."

A white-haired old general finally uttered this sentence after a long silence.

"I retract what I said earlier about him taking advantage of the situation."

Another general shook his head with a bitter smile, "Compared to this plan, that 1.5 billion entry fee was merciful!"

"More than merciful!"

The leader slammed the table, his eyes bursting with unprecedented brilliance!

"This plan will not only bring immeasurable wealth and rare resources to our Dragon Country, but it will also bind the entire world to us!"

"From now on, H City, no, our Dragon Country, will become the economic and power exchange center of the world!"

"Issue my order!"

The leader took a deep breath, his voice strong and clear.

"At the highest official level of Dragon Country, issue a joint announcement to the world for the 'First Global Lord Grand Competition' and the 'Auction of All Heavens and Myriad Worlds'!"

"In addition, dispatch appraisers, accountants, and security personnel from across the country to H City immediately, to fully cooperate with Zhang Chen! Cooperate with the Holy Master!"

"Yes!"
