436: The base of the Imperial God Society, the refining factory!

“This is a good item, quite valuable!”

Several Alien Race members, some with scales, some with fur, all looked at the bottle in the man’s hand, their eyes filled with envy.

“I heard… one of my clansmen took this, and his bloodline evolved. Even a strong person of the same level was no match for him!”

“But I heard this stuff also has side effects… you become very irritable after taking it.”

“What’s there to be afraid of? It’s just a small side effect!”

With that, the Alien Race member picked up the bottle and drank it all!

The black liquid was entirely swallowed, and moments later, surges of power emerged!

“I’ve become stronger, I can feel my power continuously increasing!”

He was overjoyed.

Is this what bloodline enhancement feels like?

He would no longer be limited by his bloodline!

“Come, test my strength!”

With that, he suddenly threw a punch at someone beside him!

The Alien Race member quickly blocked with his arms in front of him, but with a 'crack', his arm bone instantly broke under the impact!

“Ah!!”

He groaned, looking at his companion in disbelief.

He knew that not long ago, there wasn't much difference in their strength!

This scene was observed by Fang Ran, reminding him of the Yu Shen Society members he encountered in Yu City.

“Is this the Yu Shen Society’s method for Beast Tamer to increase their strength?”

“No wonder… it can entice so many people to join.”

Just drinking one bottle of medicine was equivalent to spending hundreds of millions on cultivation!

One option was to invest hundreds of millions himself, while the other only required joining the Yu Shen Society, and after succeeding, he could even earn hundreds of millions!

The difference between the two was immense; it was impossible not to be tempted!

“But where did they get this stuff… could it have been left behind by the Celestial God Clan?”

Fang Ran frowned slightly.

Then he leaped down, landing among the crowd.

Moments later, after a series of screams, silence returned to the surroundings.

Fang Ran searched around, taking all the resources from them, then returned to the entrance with the Lizardman.

The Alien Race members who had been waiting there, seeing him, immediately brightened and hurried to follow.

“Let’s go, over there.”

Fang Ran walked forward.

He was immediately stopped by several Beast Tamer dressed in black.

“What are you doing?”

“Lizardman? Did you get any new resources? Let’s see.”

Fang Ran held out his hand, presenting the resources he had just plundered.

The black-clad Beast Tamer took them, then nodded in satisfaction.

“Not bad… but our inventory is limited recently. Come back in a few days.”

“Are you messing with me?” Fang Ran feigned a bit of anger, then said, “Since you have so much, why don’t I just take it?”

Hearing his words, the black-clad men sneered twice.

Take it? People with the same idea as Fang Ran weren’t uncommon, but they were all gone now.

“If you want to wait, wait. If you don’t want to wait, you can also directly make a move.”

The men seemed completely unafraid.

Fang Ran pondered for a moment, then, as if compromising, he said, “Can I join you?”

“Don’t be so quick to refuse, I have something your boss wants!”

Hearing Fang Ran’s words, the two black-clad men exchanged glances, a hint of mockery in their hearts.

A big, brainless Alien Race member, what good could he have?

“Here.”

Fang Ran extended his hand, then opened it.

The two looked at his hand with disdain.

Then, as if they had seen something incredible, their pupils widened, and they secretly swallowed.

“This… is this real? Or fake?”

“It can’t be fake… it’s definitely real!”

“Quick… you wait here. I’ll… go in and notify them immediately, at most a few minutes.”

With that, the black-clad man turned and left.

Seeing him leave, Fang Ran said in surprise, “Aren’t you going to take it?”

“Take it? What’s there to take? Wouldn’t we just have to hand it over anyway?” The black-clad man chuckled, then said, “Each area has its own people responsible for things. We just need to report it.”

If anyone were to take it, it wouldn’t be them, so why bother?

Fang Ran nodded silently.

Then he started chatting idly with the black-clad man.

The Alien Race members behind him looked at each other, wondering what he had shown that made them so interested!

While the black-clad man went in to report, Fang Ran suddenly asked, “Brother, why are you all wearing black clothes?”

“These are our work uniforms… we have to wear them when we’re on duty.” He rolled his eyes, then said, “And don’t even get me started, they’re sun-proof and waterproof, much better than those shoddy clothes I buy!”

“The most important thing… is that these clothes can block aura… I heard that many employees who stayed here for a long time in the past eventually went mad…”

He spoke very mysteriously.

But these were ultimately just rumors, impossible to verify.

It was just that their boss required them to wear them, better safe than sorry, right?

“He’s back!”

He suddenly stood up, moving away from Fang Ran.

“Follow me in.” Another black-clad man looked at Fang Ran.

Fang Ran nodded.

Then, he led the group inside.

The Alien Race members following Fang Ran, seeing this, quickly followed.

The black-clad man glanced at them but did not stop them.

He also walked forward, arriving at the base of the statue.

At the bottom of the collapsed giant statue, there was a passage and staircase leading underground. As they entered, lights illuminated the steps descending!

The seemingly bottomless staircase extended downwards.

“This is… modern equipment. It seems this place has been here for more than a day or two,” Fang Ran thought to himself.

The people beside him, however, looked surprised.

They followed the stairs, walking down into the seemingly endless underground.

Throughout the corridor, the Alien Race members following Fang Ran could only hear their footsteps, their breathing, and their heartbeats.

They started to get scared, regretting following Fang Ran.

They didn’t even dare to breathe heavily, seemingly afraid of disturbing something.

“Sizzle!!”

The lights on the wall flickered on and off.

“Damn it, why is it burnt out again? Did the person who bought the lightbulbs get greedy again?”

The black-clad man complained.

As they got closer, a large door appeared before Fang Ran’s eyes.

They passed through the door and then entered a pure black room. Everyone was wearing black clothes, and various instruments were on the tables, seemingly extracting something.

“Is it that black liquid?” Fang Ran’s heart pounded.

This was at least an important stronghold of the Yu Shen Society.

He hadn’t expected that searching for the legacy of the Celestial God Clan’s divine beasts would lead him to a Yu Shen Society stronghold!

All of this carried both a subtle coincidence and an inevitability.
