29: Chapter 29: Bad Luck Completely Vanishes! Financial Prodigy Reborn!

Lin Zhe stuffed his hands into his pockets, his tone flat, and read out the information provided by the system.

Sun Lixin's mouth hung open, and he stood there, completely stunned.

These were all private data from his core trading account; apart from himself, no one could possibly know it in such detail.

Even the debt collectors only knew he owed money; it was absolutely impossible for them to memorize every Black Swan event from his trades so accurately.

"Who exactly are you?" Sun Lixin retreated until he had nowhere left to go, his back pressed against the rough bridge pier.

"To be able to find this out, you are definitely not some ordinary loan shark gang. What do you want?"

The more he thought about it, the more terrified he became.

Lin Zhe kicked away an empty wine bottle at his feet.

"Your entry timing, position management, and risk hedging are all textbook-level operations."

"If we followed normal market logic, the three million in capital you borrowed would have at least increased tenfold by now."

These few words struck directly at the most vulnerable part of Sun Lixin's heart.

Sun Lixin squatted on the ground in agony, grabbing his hair with both hands, his emotions completely collapsing.

"Don't talk to me about logic! There is no logic in this market at all!"

He shouted at the top of his lungs, his voice choked with tears.

"I even calculated to the third decimal place! I stayed up for three consecutive nights reviewing all the macro data and financial report drafts!"

"It was clearly a 100% profitable position, but as soon as I opened it, something would always go wrong!"

"Earthquakes! Locust plagues! Undersea cables bitten through by sharks!"

"Even the exchange's servers could shut down because the cables were chewed through by rats!"

Sun Lixin pounded the concrete ground.

"I am a jinx! I don't deserve to touch finance!"

"I give up, I really give up."

Watching Sun Lixin break down in tears, Lin Zhe clicked his tongue internally.

The power of this [Black Swan] entry was indeed formidable.

No matter how skilled a person is, they can't withstand heaven messing with them in every possible way.

Lin Zhe took a step forward.

"Are you done crying?"

Sun Lixin looked up, his face covered in a mixture of snot, tears, and grime.

"What exactly are you here for? To watch me make a fool of myself? If you want money, my life is worthless, just throw me into the river and drown me right now!"

"Drowning you is meaningless to me." Lin Zhe stood still. "I am not a loan shark. I came here to make a deal with you."

Sun Lixin wiped the mud and water off his face.

"A deal? I've lost everything down to my underwear; I only have two kidneys left on my whole body. Are you planning to take the left or the right one?"

Lin Zhe raised his hand and gestured a number.

"I want ten years of your time."

Sun Lixin froze for half a second, then let out a miserable laugh that sounded like a broken bellows.

"Boss, stop joking. Hire me? Let me trade for you?" Sun Lixin leaned against the base of the wall. "You just dug up everything about me—everything I buy crashes, every position I open explodes. Aren't you afraid I'll lose all your family fortune?"

Lin Zhe tapped his finger on the bridge pier next to him.

"You don't need to worry about that. Three things."

Lin Zhe held up his first finger. "First, I will settle that three-million debt you have outside."

Sun Lixin didn't say a word.

Three million is a huge sum for an ordinary person, but in the eyes of this rich young master driving a Lamborghini, it was indeed not worth mentioning.

Lin Zhe held up his second finger. "Second, I will give you one billion in cash as your initial trading capital."

Upon hearing these three words, Sun Lixin's breathing hitched, and he even forgot to dry heave.

But he immediately shook his head frantically.

"No! Even if you gave me ten billion, it would be useless! As long as I touch it, something will definitely go wrong! Today a major power outage in the US, tomorrow an oil well explodes in the Middle East—this money definitely won't last three days in my hands!"

Sun Lixin knew better than anyone about the weird, bad luck that clung to him.

That was a bottomless pit; whoever tried to fill it would die.

"Third." Lin Zhe ignored Sun Lixin's frantic state and continued with the final step. "I will completely extract that bad luck of yours that makes you lose every gamble. With this one billion, even if you close your eyes and go all-in, and lose every single cent, I won't make you pay back a single penny."

The river water slapped against the bridge pier.

The air fell into a silence that lasted for half a minute.

Sun Lixin looked at Lin Zhe in front of him.

Help him pay his debts? Give him one billion? And promise he wouldn't be held responsible if he lost it all? And even say he would extract his bad luck?

Is this guy sick?

Which mental hospital did this rich second-generation kid escape from, coming all the way to the bottom of a bridge to mess with him?

Sun Lixin grabbed his messy hair with both hands.

"Boss, if you're bored, can you find someone else to mess with? I haven't eaten in days, and I really don't have the energy to play this domineering CEO game with you."

Lin Zhe couldn't be bothered with small talk.

He pulled his phone out of his pocket and brought up the interface for that Industrial and Commercial Bank of China super VIP account with a balance of over three billion.

The bright light of the screen illuminated the dim bridge tunnel.

Sun Lixin's gaze swept over it.

Ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands...

Those zeros were densely packed on the screen, and the leading digit was 3.

Sun Lixin gasped, his heart pounding wildly.

This wasn't a photoshopped fake image; that was the real, dynamic interface of a bank system's current account.

The young man in front of him had over three billion in usable cash sitting in his account.

The other party was definitely not here to mess around.

"I have a bad temper and don't have the patience to say things twice." Lin Zhe put away his phone. "Work for me for ten years, spend the money however you want, trade however you want. Do you agree or not?"

Sun Lixin's Adam's apple bobbed violently.

These terms were outrageously good; it was like a pie falling from the sky.

For a trader who was fanatical about finance but had been forced into a dead end because of luck, what could be more tempting than sufficient capital and absolute trust?

This was too weird, too unreliable.

But Sun Lixin's cracked lips moved uncontrollably.

"Deal."

[Detected that the target has burst out with a strong willingness to trade.]

[Voluntary contract established.]

[Since this transaction involves the extraction of bad luck and contract binding, a special settlement mechanism is triggered.]

[Successfully extracted the target's red negative entry: Black Swan.]

[The entry has been stored in the host's available entry inventory and can be used via the "Entry Imbuement" function.]

[The host has obtained a ten-year absolute service contract from the target.]

The electronic voice exploded in his mind.

A ball of black-red mist, so dense it was nauseating, was forcibly extracted from the top of Sun Lixin's head.

The mist rolled and struggled in mid-air, then submerged into Lin Zhe's brow, entering the depths of the system warehouse, never to stir up any waves again.

Lin Zhe brought up the panel.

The [Black Swan] entry lay quietly in the inventory.

As long as he spent one hundred thousand yuan to toss it out, he could make any hundred-billion-level multinational group suffer a silent loss overnight and encounter an epic, unforeseen disaster.

This was truly strategic reserve at the level of a nuclear weapon.

Looking at Sun Lixin opposite him again.

After that ball of black-red mist was extracted, only one dark golden entry remained above Sun Lixin's head, shining brightly: [Financial Prodigy].

Sun Lixin shivered, feeling an extremely wonderful change occur in his body.

The suffocating feeling that had been pressing down on his head for so long, the sixth sense that disaster was always imminent, suddenly disappeared without a trace.

His mind was clearer than ever before.

The data from the over ten thousand trade slips he had reviewed previously automatically classified and organized themselves in his mind, and even his sensitivity to numbers instantly soared by several levels.
