The voice cut through the air like a blade.

Everyone looked up.

The pocket dimension had collapsed—dissolved into ash and flickers of broken magic. They were now back in the real world. Open skies. Cold wind. And above them, the council of leaders floated, silent and watching.

Their presence changed the air—heavy, suffocating. Not a word was spoken, but every gaze felt like judgment.

Lucifer stood still. Blood on his coat, chest rising slowly.

Ruka and Temmy flanked him—silent, breathing hard. The fight was over, but the tension wasn’t. Not even close.

Greta floated above, her eyes locked on her daughter’s scorched, disfigured form lying in the rubble.

Her face twisted. Anger. Pain. Guilt. She looked at Lucifer, and for a moment, her killing intent surged like a knife ready to drop.

But then she saw the others.

Ken. Angel. Ella. Francisca. Mob.



Exhausted. Injured. Burned and broken—but alive. All of them.

She clenched her fist.

Remu had done this. To herself. To all of them.

But still—

It was Lucifer who lit the match. Whether he knew it or not.

"Greta," Boris spoke, sharp and cold.

"Do you have any explanation for this situation?"

He didn’t shout. He didn’t need to.

Greta didn’t answer at first. She just stared at Remu.

And then—without looking back—

"I’ll take my daughter."

She snapped her fingers.

A flash of emerald light.

She and Remu vanished.

No one stopped her.

Not yet.

The air settled for a heartbeat.

Then—

"Ella."

A blur. Crimson and black.

Vladimir Vamp appeared beside his daughter, gently lifting her from the ground. She was unconscious now, breathing softly in his arms.

He held her like she was made of glass.

"You’re okay, child," he whispered, brushing blood-matted hair from her cheek.

And for the first time in years—Ella relaxed in her father’s arms.

She didn’t fight it.

She just let go.

Vladimir looked up, eyes glowing. His aura rippled out—unstable. Dangerous.

But before it exploded—

A hand touched his arm.

Vulpina.

Her expression was calm. Barely. But her tail twitched, betraying the rage under her skin.

"Not here," she said softly.

"Not now."

Vladimir met her eyes. Then nodded once.

"As long as the children are alive... that’s what matters."

"Remu will face punishment," Vulpina said, louder now, addressing the rest. "But right now, we have bigger problems. These were kids’ battles. That’s not where the real war is."

Vladimir said nothing. But he agreed.

One by one, the leaders moved.

Boris walked forward, cape fluttering behind him as he passed the scorched ground. Ken stepped up, silent. Tired.

Angel followed, keeping his head low.

Boris didn’t say a word. He just put a hand on each of their shoulders.

A silent gesture. Approval. Relief. A reminder that it was over.

And then—he was gone. Along with them.

Vladimir followed, still carrying Ella gently like a father who nearly lost what mattered most.

The battlefield grew quiet.

Vulpina walked next, her footsteps silent. She found Francisca standing alone, tails dim but still glowing faintly. Her clothes were burned, her hair wild, her eyes distant.

She didn’t look up when her mother reached her.

Vulpina didn’t speak. She just pulled her close, wrapping her arms around her daughter.



Francisca froze—then slowly leaned into it. Letting herself be held.

After a moment, they turned. Walked toward Lucifer.

Temmy stood beside him, arms crossed. Ruka leaned back with his hands in his pockets, chewing on a piece of broken ice.

Vulpina stopped a few steps from Lucifer.

"You protected her."

Lucifer nodded once.

No smugness. No excuses.

Just fact.

Vulpina’s gaze softened slightly.

"Thank you."

Then—behind her, another presence.

Lighter. Softer. But just as sharp.

A woman walked forward. Similar to Vulpina in face, in presence—but younger. A little shorter. Her eyes held that same foxfire intensity, but with a mischievous edge.

Five tails fluttered behind her like silk. Silver. Blue-tipped.

She wore a deep-blue kimono, faintly glowing with glyphs. Her steps were weightless.

"Mob."

He turned, still catching his breath.

She reached out a hand.

"Come. You’ve done enough."

Mob blinked. Looked at her, unsure.

Lucifer gave a small nod.

Mob stepped forward, and the woman placed a hand on his shoulder.

She looked at her sister—Vulpina—and gave a slight bow.

"Sister."

"Sakura."

They held the moment—then Sakura turned with Mob and vanished into shimmering blue light.

Lucifer looked around.

The field was almost empty now.

Quiet.

The wind moved the ash like falling snow. Silence clung to the air like it didn’t want to leave.

Lucifer stood in the middle of it. Eyes half-lidded. Shoulders low. The fight was done—but something in his chest still burned.

"Let’s go and rest," Vulpina said softly, turning toward the others.

"You’ll all need it."

No one argued.

She held Francisca close, her tails slowly wrapping around her daughter as they vanished in a quiet burst of golden light.

Lucifer looked at Ruka and Temmy. He gave a slight nod.

They teleported.

Williams Mansion

The cold wind was gone now. Replaced by quiet warmth. The trees swayed gently. Lanterns lit the path with soft orange glows.

Lucifer, Ruka, and Temmy stood under the archway of the main building.

Vulpina had already taken Francisca inside, up to her room. The doors closed behind her like the end of a long story.

The three stood in silence for a moment.

Lucifer leaned on the wooden pillar, arms crossed.

Ruka kicked at a small stone on the path. Still chewing on that ice shard from earlier. Melting now.

Temmy folded her arms, then turned toward them.

"Hey," she said.

Lucifer tilted his head.

Ruka looked over.

"Hm?"



She took a breath. Her usual smirk crept up—but it was different this time. Lighter.

"I found out something," she said. "About your mother."

Lucifer’s expression didn’t change. But his eyes narrowed.

Ruka’s jaw clenched. The ice shard cracked in his mouth.

"...What?"

Temmy grinned wider.

"I know her name now."

A beat of silence.

Lucifer looked away, jaw tight.

Ruka’s hand curled into a fist.

Temmy glanced between them, the grin fading just a little.

"...You guys okay?"
