1: Chapter 1: You want to kill me after digging out my sword bone?

One sword swallows the void of eternity, invulnerable to all laws, I am the blade!

A Servant hiding the Heaven-Swallowing Body, daring to make the Heavenly Dao kneel in the dust!

---

Boom!

A clap of thunder struck, and the rain poured down.

In the forest behind the Qingyun Sect, a chill permeated the air.

The bluestone path was cold and slippery. Ye Feng gritted his teeth, the veins on his forehead bulging. Cold sweat mixed with muddy water flowed into his eyes, stinging painfully.

A foot clad in cloud-patterned boots stepped on his back, the immense force making him feel as though his bones were creaking.

Su Man squatted in front of him, that face he had once been infatuated with looking terrifyingly pale under the lightning.

The dagger in her hand pressed against Ye Feng's left chest, and with a squelch, it pierced inside.

A stifled roar escaped Ye Feng's throat, and his body shuddered violently.

"No sword talisman."

Su Man flipped her wrist, the dagger churning inside Ye Feng's flesh, fresh blood staining his tattered grey robe.

She frowned, as if rummaging through something filthy.

"It's not in the flesh."

Su Man pulled out the dagger and casually wiped the blood off on Ye Feng's clothes, her voice icy, "I can't find it. Senior Brother Zhao, is the information incorrect?"

The foot stepping on Ye Feng's back pressed down with even more force, the pain making him almost unable to breathe.

A sneer came from above; it was the voice of Zhao Kuang from the Outer Sect.

Ye Feng knew this person; he ran rampant in the Outer Sect, and Ye Feng had seen with his own eyes Zhao Kuang breaking someone else's legs.

"Trash is always trash; even the way you hide things is so low-level."

Zhao Kuang bent down and violently tore open Ye Feng's soaked undergarment.

He fumbled in the seam of the undergarment twice and hooked out a dark golden hard object.

A simple, ancient sword talisman.

Ye Feng's eyes turned blood-red; that was the only heirloom his parents had left him, his only hope for survival.

He had specially sewn it into the lining of his undergarment, thinking no one would know.

Unless... someone closest to him had informed on him.

Ye Feng stared at Su Man, a metallic, fishy taste welling up in his throat: "Su Man... was it you?"

Su Man stood up, smoothed her soaked temples, and without even glancing at him, turned and leaned into Zhao Kuang's embrace.

"Ye Feng, an innocent man is innocent, but possessing a treasure is a crime. This Archaic Sword Talisman is a waste in your hands; only a Genius like Senior Brother Zhao is worthy of it."

"Since we've got the item, this trash is useless." Zhao Kuang toyed with the sword talisman in his hand.

He loosened his foot, and the next second, his right leg whipped out; bang, bang, bang, three kicks all landed on Ye Feng's lower abdomen.

Crack!

Ye Feng heard a crisp sound from within his body; his Qi Sea had shattered.

He was kicked flying, slamming into an old locust tree, the blood he spat out mixed with fragments of his internal organs.

With his Dantian crippled, for a cultivator, it meant his path to immortality was severed; he was worse off than even a Mortal.

Zhao Kuang looked at the twitching Ye Feng in the mud and sneered: "I'll spare your dog life so you can watch clearly how I use this sword talisman to soar to the clouds."

Su Man glanced at Ye Feng on the ground and covered her nose and mouth in disgust: "Senior Brother Zhao, the smell of blood is too strong. If the people from the Law Enforcement Hall discover us..."

"What are you afraid of? A Utility Disciple, if he dies, he dies. But you're right, he's an eyesore. Throw him to the mass grave; there are plenty of wild dogs there, enough for them to have a meal."

The mass grave.

This was the place where the Qingyun Sect dumped corpses; everywhere was filled with dry bones and rotting flesh.

Ye Feng was casually tossed into a large pit filled with stagnant water.

Cold rainwater poured into his mouth and nose, choking him so he couldn't stop coughing. With every cough, a sharp pain shot through his shattered Dantian.

The pit was full of severed limbs and broken arms, the stench of decay mixed with the smell of mud rushing into his nose.

His consciousness gradually blurred, his body growing colder and colder; he knew he was going to die.

Su Man's face and Zhao Kuang's sinister sneer flashed through his mind.

Why?

He clenched his fists. Why!

"If I can survive..."

Ye Feng's fingers clawed frantically in the mud, his nails even flipping backward.

Suddenly, his fingertips touched something cold and hard. It felt very rough, like a piece of broken iron.

It was a broken sword.

Only half the blade remained, rusted and stuck in a pile of white bones.

Ye Feng subconsciously grabbed it with force, and the wound on his palm pressed right against the sharp, broken edge.

Blood, seeped in along the rust.

The broken sword vibrated slightly.

After absorbing Ye Feng's blood, the rust on the sword began to flake off, and a dim light, following his palm, violently drilled into his Meridians.

An indescribable power rushed into his body, even more painful than when his Dantian was shattered.

This power carried an intent to swallow everything, rampaging through his dried-up Meridians, making all the bones in his body emit a grinding sound.

His blackened blood began to flow backward, and at the site of his originally shattered Dantian, a pitch-black vortex slowly formed.

That vortex was like a giant mouth, crazily swallowing everything around it.

The rain stopped.

The Spiritual Qi remaining on the corpses in the pit, along with the metal and iron Qi in the soil, all turned into specks of light, surging toward Ye Feng's lower abdomen.

Ye Feng opened his eyes abruptly; in his pupils, a sea of blood and a mountain of corpses were reflected.
