184: Chapter 184 A cave dwelling must have a large bed

Mo Zixing reached out to wrap his arm around Sect Master Bai Ruotong's waist, lifting her up with ease:

“You actually gave me a great idea. Thanks.”

“Eh?”

Caught off guard, Sect Master Bai Ruotong was lifted into midair. Her calves flailed wildly in the air, and her ears instantly flushed red:

“What do you mean? If you want to thank me, just thank me properly!”

Mo Zixing chuckled softly, set her back on the ground, and gently tapped the tip of her nose:

“I plan to build an Immortal Cave right inside the spatial ring. That way, no matter where I go in the future, I can bring you all with me.”

“An Immortal Cave?”

Sect Master Bai Ruotong was taken aback, then she furrowed her brows:

“That's possible, but didn't you say before that putting living things inside continuously consumes your spiritual energy?”

“If you let all of us live inside, can your body really handle it?”

She extended her finger and poked Mo Zixing's chest:

“Don't force yourself, and don't overdraw your spiritual energy.”

“Since you remember that, you should also remember something else I said.”

Mo Zixing grasped her tiny finger, pressed a gentle kiss to it, his eyes filled with confidence:

“The thing I lack least is spiritual energy.”

“Not to mention four of you, even if forty of you lived here, you wouldn't be able to drain me.”

Before Sect Master Bai Ruotong could react, a gentle wave of spiritual energy wrapped around her.

The scene before her eyes warped.

By the time she blinked and snapped out of it, she was already standing inside the spatial ring.

Mo Zixing's voice echoed from all directions:

“Help me plan the layout of the courtyard first. I'm going to get some Materials now.”

“Ah?”

Sect Master Bai Ruotong turned around to look left and right, but Mo Zixing was nowhere to be seen:

“You're leaving me to do this alone? I don't know how to build a house!”

“No need to build it from scratch.”

Mo Zixing's voice rang out again:

“I'll directly move ready-made furniture and building Materials inside. Just arrange their general positions first.”

He sounded like he was thoroughly enjoying himself:

“Oh right, this is an absolute must-have.”

Before Sect Master Bai Ruotong could say anything else, a flash of white light appeared before her eyes.

A huge bed, easily large enough to sleep four people, slammed onto the empty ground in front of her with a thud.

Sect Master Bai Ruotong blinked, frozen in place.

“This...?”

She looked at the massive bed, then looked up at the empty ceiling of the storage space, her lips twitching:

“What do you mean by moving the bed in first?!”

“Moving the most important thing first, of course.”

Mo Zixing's voice carried a clear hint of amusement:

“When we're traveling in the future, we can't let our Sect Master Bai suffer without even a comfortable place to sleep.”

“Besides, isn't a bigger bed better?”

Sect Master Bai Ruotong's cheeks instantly flushed completely red:

“Mo Zixing, you!”

No one answered her.

Immediately after.

Common furniture such as wardrobes, tables, and chairs were moved in one after another, neatly piled to the side.

Not long after.

Even some building Materials, including glazed tiles sourced from who knows where, were sent in as well.

They piled up into a small hill on the empty ground nearby.

Sect Master Bai Ruotong plopped down onto the ground.

She had thought he was just going to casually arrange a few pieces of furniture to make do, but she hadn't expected Mo Zixing to be dead serious.

With no other choice, she could only flusteredly begin arranging the furniture's positions.

First, she pushed that eyesore of a big bed to the side, then sequentially arranged the wardrobe and the vanity.

While she was busy running back and forth, Mo Zixing's voice rang out again:

“Stand back a bit. I'll put up the room's frame first.”

As soon as he finished speaking, wooden wall panels appeared out of thin air.

Under the control of Mo Zixing's spiritual energy, they quickly pieced together to form four walls.

A few windows were even opened on the walls.

Although the view outside the windows was still the blank void of the storage space, it at least looked like a complete room now.

“Let me see how you're doing, Sect Master Bai.”

Mo Zixing's figure appeared out of thin air at the doorway of the room.

He looked around and nodded:

“It looks quite decent, much better than I imagined.”

“Where did you get all this stuff?”

Sect Master Bai Ruotong set down the table in her hands and walked over to his side:

“With so much furniture and building Materials, you didn't dismantle some peak's Sleeping Quarters, did you?”

“How could I?”

Mo Zixing shrugged:

“Aren't the Qingsu Peak Sleeping Quarters still being repaired? I just directly moved in the things that hadn't been installed yet.”

“They're mine anyway, so it's the same wherever they're placed.”

Sect Master Bai Ruotong turned her head to look at the huge pile of Materials on the empty ground outside, her lips instantly drooping:

“So you plan to move the entire Qingsu Peak Sleeping Quarters into the spatial ring?”

“With just me alone, how long will it take to help you build it?!”

Mo Zixing raised an eyebrow and said teasingly:

“Then should I go call Jiang Yuwei and the others over first?”

“No need!”

Sect Master Bai Ruotong immediately stood on her tiptoes and poked his forehead:

“At worst... you can just prepare something to thank me.”

“Alright, alright, alright, I won't call them.”

Mo Zixing smiled and pinched her puffed-up little cheek:

“Then I'll have to trouble our Sect Master Bai for now.”

“Once you're done building it, I'll treat you to something good.”

He flipped his hand and took out a bottle of Medicinal Pills.
