62: Combining the two methods, creating the third method of forming a baby

After the twelve infant-like forms of different elemental powers were separated, the next step was to continuously absorb Spiritual Qi, refine and purify it, and then absorb it again, purifying it repeatedly until these twelve infant-like forms of different elemental powers finally transformed into twelve Nascent Souls of different elemental powers.

One hundred thousand Top-Grade Spirit Stones, two hundred thousand Top-Grade Spirit Stones, three hundred thousand... five hundred thousand... eight hundred thousand... one million Top-Grade Spirit Stones.

Long Aotian's Spirit Stones were being consumed rapidly at a visible rate; out of the one million Top-Grade Spirit Stones, hundreds of the small mountains of Top-Grade Spirit Stones in the third spatial world had disappeared.

Another five months passed during this process.

After consuming one million Top-Grade Spirit Stones, Long Aotian finally hatched the twelve infant-like forms of different elemental powers into twelve Nascent Souls of different elemental powers.

However, what made Long Aotian somewhat unsettled was that it was said that when others' infant-like forms hatched into Nascent Souls, they would move, but the twelve Nascent Souls he hatched did not move.

An abnormal event must have a demon!

Could it be that hatching infant-like forms into Nascent Souls also had a distinction between dead Nascent Souls and living Nascent Souls?

Were his Nascent Souls, dead Nascent Souls?

Long Aotian's bewildered face gradually furrowed into a frown, and his expression began to grow increasingly solemn and troubled.

These Nascent Souls, no matter how one looked at them, seemed problematic.

Unable to understand what was happening, Long Aotian briefly skimmed through the memories Ao Zhan had transmitted to him, attempting to find any mention of living Nascent Souls and dead Nascent Souls.

The result was that there was no such statement, and even in ancient history and Ao Zhan's memories, no one had encountered a situation like his.

It was truly baffling!

After an infant-like form hatches into a Nascent Soul, it's like a chick hatching from an egg; at this point, the fist-sized Nascent Soul should move, but Long Aotian's twelve Nascent Souls seemed to be... full and asleep?

"Could it be that the Five Elements Supreme's Multi-Infant Ancient Method has a problem, or is it not suitable for me to form a Nascent Soul?

That shouldn't be possible!

The Multi-Infant Ancient Method is difficult, but it is the only universally recognized and most comprehensive method for forming a Nascent Soul by many powerful Cultivators in history.

There must be a problem in one of the steps, just like when I formed the Golden Core by gathering the sea; my Core had clearly transformed into gold, but it was as large as a lake, not meeting the standard size of a normal Golden Core, and eventually, the Golden Core further transformed into a Purple Core, and I thus became the second Cultivator after the Grandmist Supreme to transform the Golden Core Realm into the Purple Core Realm.

This, could it be that my Nascent Souls are like they're asleep, motionless, meaning that my hatching of Nascent Souls is not yet complete, and I haven't truly Broken Through to the Nascent Soul Realm?

Yes, I haven't felt that sense of Breakthrough from the cultivation bottleneck yet. If I stop completing the hatching of Nascent Souls, it will definitely be like when the Golden Core didn't transform into a Purple Core during the formation of the Golden Core by gathering the sea; I'll feel my cultivation unstable, and eventually, the Golden Core might revert to before the formation of the Golden Core by gathering the sea, all efforts wasted... Damn it!

Where exactly did the problem occur?

Single-Infant Method?

Multi-Infant Ancient Method?

Could it be that following the Single-Infant Method for forming a Nascent Soul is most suitable for me?

But how can that be?!

Those powerful Cultivators in history, except for those with pure Spiritual Roots, hardly anyone chose the Single-Infant Method.

One person cannot prove anything, but the unanimous recognition of so many people cannot be false!

The Single-Infant Method is only suitable for those with pure Spiritual Roots to form a Nascent Soul; other multi-Spiritual Root Cultivators using the Single-Infant Method to form a Nascent Soul is equivalent to damaging their Martial Dao Foundation!

But now that I'm using the Multi-Infant Ancient Method to form a Nascent Soul, I can't truly form one, and the Nascent Souls I've hatched are like dead Nascent Souls. What exactly is going on with this?

There must be a problem in one of the steps!

Could it be that neither the Single-Infant Method nor the Multi-Infant Ancient Method works for me?

Or, could it be that the Single-Infant Method and the Multi-Infant Ancient Method are still not the most comprehensive methods for forming a Nascent Soul?"

Long Aotian felt a bit frantic internally.

He had initially thought he succeeded in forming a Nascent Soul, but it turned out he was only halfway there. What kind of feeling was that?

It was like having an urgent need on a bus, being able to hold it for at most three more minutes, thinking that the next stop was only one minute away, and after getting off at the next stop, he would immediately slip into the bushes to relieve himself first, even if it meant a fine, at least he wouldn't pee his pants, right?

But then, unexpectedly, a never-before-seen five-minute traffic light suddenly appeared ahead... Relieve himself on the bus?

Definitely not.

Get off and relieve himself?

The key was whether the driver would let him get off, and at such a traffic light, there were usually no bushes, and there might be even more people than on the bus... Long Aotian's Nascent Soul formation encountered such an awkward problem, seemingly neither solvable on the bus nor by getting off; neither the Single-Infant Method nor the Multi-Infant Ancient Method worked, leaving him in a dilemma.

What should he do?

Actually, solving this problem is also very simple, which is to design an onboard toilet, like a long-distance bus. Many tourist line buses currently use such buses with toilets... What Long Aotian needed to do was creatively combine the Single-Infant Method and the Multi-Infant Ancient Method, which was like his urgent need to find a toilet but being on a bus and unable to get off conveniently, so he creatively designed a small, simplified toilet on the bus.

Lost in thought, Long Aotian seemed to vaguely grasp a certain idea.

He could now basically confirm that neither the Single-Infant Method nor the Multi-Infant Ancient Method was the most comprehensive method for forming a Nascent Soul.

At least, a mixed Cultivator like him, who cultivated all twelve elemental Spiritual Roots, could not follow these two paths.

So, could he creatively combine these two methods of forming a Nascent Soul and forge a different, truly comprehensive method for forming a Nascent Soul?

"When forming the Golden Core by gathering the sea, the problem with my Golden Core was:

It was big!

The Golden Core was too large, not at all like a Golden Core formed in the Golden Core Realm. Eventually, the Golden Core continued to purify and transformed into a Purple Core.

Now that the infant-like forms are hatching, the problem with my Nascent Souls is:

There are many!

Twelve Nascent Souls of different elemental powers, not at all like the Nascent Souls hatched in the Nascent Soul Realm!

When forming the Golden Core by gathering the sea, if the Golden Core was too large, I would continuously purify it to make it smaller, and eventually, the Golden Core would turn into a Purple Core. Now that I have many Nascent Souls, does it also mean that I need to reduce the number of Nascent Souls to truly Break Through to the Nascent Soul Realm?

Reduce?

Could it be that the truly most comprehensive method for forming a Nascent Soul is for the Purple Core to split into multiple infant-like forms for hatching, becoming ultimate infant-like forms like dead Nascent Souls, and then uniting them into one, separating and combining, first combining then separating, first separating then combining, and finally Breaking Through to the Nascent Soul Realm?"

At this moment, Long Aotian had a realization.

The twelve Nascent Souls he had hatched now should not be true Nascent Souls yet, but rather the Peak state of infant-like forms.

Gathering the sea to form a Golden Core is a combination!

The Purple Core transforming into infant-like forms is a separation!

The infant-like forms returning to one is a combination!

Amidst separation and combination, civilization achieves sublimation.

Through twists and turns, people become more resilient.

In the hazy moments, the bottleneck is slowly Breaking Through... The idea went from hazy to clear, and the twelve Peak infant-like forms slowly began to merge into one.

Uniting into one!

During this process, Long Aotian's strength also continuously and rapidly increased...
