265: Chapter 265 Breakthrough to Mahayana

In one day, the fifty matches concluded, and the fifty winners were eligible to enter the Xuantian Secret Realm to seek Opportunities.

Before the matches began on the second day, the fifty people took turns going on stage to draw lots; this time, there were twenty-five white balls and twenty-five red balls.

Xiao Yuchen drew the number ten red ball, and his opponent was a Disciple from Dongba Prefecture; however, the opponent was only at the Unity Stage Great Perfection, so it was impossible for Xiao Yuchen to concede.

After all, his strength was obvious to everyone, and conceding to someone at the Unity Stage Great Perfection would be too fake.

Besides Xiao Yuchen, Wen Ruyu had worse luck; she encountered a Core Disciple from the Central Divine Continent, one of the two at the Void Tempering Late-stage. Ultimately, she had to concede; after all, she had accepted the Spirit Stones and had to keep her word.

Former Palace Master Miaomiao Xue's luck wasn't great either; she encountered the only Early Void Tempering Stage expert from the Vajra Sect and had no choice but to eliminate the opponent, as her strength was greater.

The most miserable were Nanhe Prefecture and Beixuan Prefecture. After the previous day's round, Nanhe Prefecture only had three people left, and Beixuan Prefecture only had seven.

After today's matches ended, Nanhe Prefecture would have no one left, and Beixuan Prefecture would have at most two people remaining; fourth and fifth place were already determined.

Today's matches proceeded quickly, and the most anticipated one was Wen Ruyu's match, as both sides were at the Void Tempering Late-stage, a true clash of titans.

Although she had taken someone else's Spirit Stones, Wen Ruyu did not pass up this Opportunity to fight and engaged in battle with the Disciple from the Central Divine Continent.

That Disciple from the Central Divine Continent did not take Wen Ruyu seriously at first; both were at the Void Tempering Late-stage, but he came from the Central Divine Continent, and the Cultivation Techniques and Martial Skills he learned were the strongest, naturally incomparable to those of a Disciple from Xiyue Prefecture.

However, when the two actually fought, he realized his thoughts were wrong; the woman before him, who was incredibly beautiful, was not just a vase but truly had strength.

Both used swords, but he was completely suppressed; no matter how he attacked, the opponent could always counterattack first, which made him feel very frustrated.

In the end, Wen Ruyu deliberately left a flaw for the opponent, and that was how she lost the match.

The second day's matches ended, and Nanhe Prefecture was indeed completely wiped out. There was no helping it; their luck was too poor, as their only Void Tempering Stage expert encountered the strongest Void Tempering Stage Great Perfection expert from the Central Divine Continent and ultimately had to choose to concede.

Beixuan Prefecture's luck was slightly better, with two Void Tempering Stage experts remaining. Xiyue Prefecture had six people left, Dongba Prefecture had seven, and the Central Divine Continent had ten.

At this point, except for the two remaining at the Unity Stage Great Perfection in Dongba Prefecture, everyone else was at the Void Tempering Stage.

The third day's draw was a bit special; in addition to red and white balls, there was an extra black ball. Whoever drew the black ball would advance directly, while those who drew the same numbers on red and white balls would face each other.

This time, Former Palace Master Miaomiao Xue had good luck and actually drew the black ball, advancing directly.

Xiao Yuchen encountered a Void Tempering Stage expert from Beixuan Prefecture, while Dongfang Qingcheng encountered the strongest person from Dongba Prefecture and found a reason to concede; in any case, she hadn't wanted to fight for a long time.

The matches had lost their meaning at this point; except for Xiao Yuchen, Dongfang Qingcheng, and Former Palace Master Miaomiao Xue who couldn't easily concede, the remaining three would just depend on who they encountered.

The twelve matches ended quickly; ultimately, Beixuan Prefecture was also eliminated. Xiyue Prefecture had four people left, Dongba Prefecture had four, and the Central Divine Continent had five.

By the fourth day, Xiao Yuchen encountered the strongest person from the Central Divine Continent. Xiao Yuchen acted very hard, managing to fight the opponent for hundreds of rounds before finally being defeated by them.

Although the Central Divine Continent and Dongba Prefecture both knew what was going on, the Central Divine Continent could only shamelessly say, "I am the strongest."

The six matches ended quickly. Ultimately, only Former Palace Master Miaomiao Xue remained for Xiyue Prefecture, the Central Divine Continent had four people left, and Dongba Prefecture had two.

Because there was still time, the matches continued. Former Palace Master Miaomiao Xue luckily drew the bye, successfully advancing to the semi-finals. When the matches ended, the Central Divine Continent had one Void Tempering Stage Great Perfection and one Void Tempering Late-stage remaining, and Dongba Prefecture had the strongest Void Tempering Late-stage expert remaining.

On the fifth day, Former Palace Master Miaomiao Xue drew the Void Tempering Late-stage expert from Dongba Prefecture. The two were evenly matched, and after fighting for nearly a hundred rounds, Former Palace Master Miaomiao Xue lost the match.

The strongest person from the Central Divine Continent eliminated the Void Tempering Late-stage expert from their own prefecture.

The two winners were supposed to fight one more match to determine first and second place, but the strongest expert from Dongba Prefecture conceded, taking second place.

Former Palace Master Miaomiao Xue fought the other Void Tempering Late-stage expert from the Central Divine Continent. To prove her strength, Former Palace Master Miaomiao Xue did not concede this time but fought with all her might, ultimately winning narrowly and taking third place.

With this, the Five Provinces Grand Competition ended: Central Divine Continent in first place, Dongba Prefecture in second place, Xiyue Prefecture in third place, Beixuan Prefecture in fourth place, and Nanhe Prefecture in fifth place.

Seeing this result, Elder Mo Wen and the panel of judges breathed a sigh of relief. Although things were somewhat unexpected, they could still accept the final outcome.

"The Five Provinces Grand Competition has ended. Everyone go back and rest for three days. Three days later, we will open the Xuantian Secret Realm.

The Xuantian Secret Realm will be open for three days. After three days, everyone will be automatically sent out of the Xuantian Secret Realm. There are many Opportunities within the Xuantian Secret Realm, but there is also danger; the strongest Yao Beasts inside can reach the ninth rank, so everyone must be careful."

After explaining some specific details, everyone left. In Xiao Yuchen's view, the greatest danger in the Xuantian Secret Realm was not the Yao Beasts, but human hearts.

During the competition, he could concede because he could not win, but in the Xuantian Secret Realm, he would not have these concerns.

If those people did not come to provoke him, he naturally would not go out of his way to cause trouble for others, but if those people wanted to snatch his treasures, then Xiao Yuchen would not mind teaching them a lesson.

After the competition ended, Xiao Yuchen did not return to the Xiyue Prefecture's lodging but left alone. He had reached the Void Tempering Stage Great Perfection for a month, and it was time to make a Breakthrough.

Arriving at a deserted small island, Xiao Yuchen took out a top-grade Nirvana pill from his System Inventory, swallowed it, and then began to circulate the Chaos Heaven-Swallowing Art to refine the medicinal power.

One hour later, the sky turned dark again, and huge arcs of electricity continuously shuttled through the clouds. Seeing this scene, Xiao Yuchen swallowed hard; this Lightning Tribulation of the Mahayana Stage was more than ten times stronger than the Void Tempering Stage.

Although the power of the Lightning Tribulation was much stronger than before, Xiao Yuchen was not afraid. After consuming the blood of the ancestral dragon, his defensive power had also increased significantly compared to before, not to mention that his Physique had already evolved into the Chaos Sacred Body.

The process of Undergoing Tribulation was very smooth. Although Xiao Yuchen's Arc Seed had already been upgraded to the maximum level, tempering the body with thunder still had great benefits.

After tempering his body, the remaining heavenly thunder was absorbed by the lightning locking tower; in the future, these heavenly thunders would be his greatest trump card.

After the heavenly thunder dissipated, five-colored auspicious clouds descended, and Xiao Yuchen successfully broke through to the Early Mahayana Stage. At this moment, the System's voice rang out again.

"Ding! Congratulations to the Host for successfully breaking through to the Early Mahayana Stage. You have been rewarded with Ice Spirit Stones, top-tier Astrology, and three top-grade dragon-riding pills, which have been placed in the System Inventory. Please check it, Host."
