43: Chapter 43 She's a little boy now!

Ye Fan quickly reached out to steady the retreating Li Hao, stopping him. "Hey, hey, hey! What are you doing? What are you doing?"

Li Hao's eyes were filled with terror. He turned to Ye Fan and whispered, "This... this place is full of zombies!"

"It's fine! Keep moving forward."

"But... this..."

Ye Fan pressed his hands against Li Hao and gave a gentle push, forcing him forward a few steps. "Stop talking nonsense and hurry up. Besides, the reason I brought you here this time is specifically for this group of zombies!"

"Ah!" Li Hao's face was full of shock as he looked at Ye Fan in confusion. "No way? Master, are you serious?"

"I'm serious. With so many zombies, it's a treasure trove of zombie crystal cores! It would be a waste not to take them," Ye Fan said calmly to Li Hao.

"But there are so many zombies, can we... can we really do this?"

"Nonsense! As a man, how can you say you can't do it?" Ye Fan's voice was deep.

"I..." Li Hao lowered his head, momentarily speechless.

Seeing this, Ye Fan's tone took on a provocative edge as he prodded him, "I remember you weren't like this when you were dealing with me that day! You were quite capable and arrogant back then."

Hearing this, Li Hao immediately had a bad premonition. His back began to feel hot, and cold sweat started to break out.

He was truly afraid now.

Thinking back to the things he had done to Ye Fan and the provocative words he had said, Li Hao quickly fixed his gaze on Ye Fan.

An awkward smile appeared on his face as he said respectfully, "Master, I'll go clear the way immediately and slaughter all those beasts."

Li Hao made a quick cutting motion across his neck with his hand, a ferocious look appearing on his face as he continued.

"Then, I'll rip their hearts and lungs out to find their zombie crystal cores and present them to you, Master!"

"Alright then! Go on! I'm waiting for your zombie crystal cores!" Ye Fan crossed his arms, his tone full of encouragement.

Li Hao paused for a few seconds, then gritted his teeth and clenched his fists as if he had made a firm decision.

He took a deep breath and carefully moved toward the main gate again, leading the way.

Leaning against the wall, he scanned the school playground once more, looking at the zombies wandering around.

His face was grim.

To be honest, Li Hao had seen plenty of zombies over the past few days.

But all of them combined didn't even amount to half of the zombies wandering in this playground.

One could only imagine just how many zombies were in there.

Furthermore, Ye Fan had already wiped out a wave of them previously.

Among them was one that seemed to be their king, a late-stage Rank 5, which Ye Fan had also killed.

But now it seemed that the empty spots left after Ye Fan's slaughter had been taken over by a new batch of zombies.

Looking at the sea of zombies, Li Hao's face was full of hesitation, and he couldn't help but look back at Ye Fan following behind him.

To his surprise, Ye Fan hadn't followed him at all and was still waiting at the original spot!

Seeing Li Hao looking at him, Ye Fan smiled and said, "Hey, what are you looking at! You go ahead first, I'll catch up after I rest for a bit."

Li Hao: ㄟ(▔,▔)ㄏ

He could only turn back helplessly, summoning his courage to step into the campus.

Just as he was about to move.

Ye Fan suddenly called out from behind. Li Hao was instantly overjoyed, thinking that Ye Fan had changed his mind and wasn't going to make him go in.

However, that was not the case.

He had been overthinking it.

Ye Fan said slowly, "Here, take this for self-defense!"

The Star Blade appeared in Ye Fan's hand. After speaking, he tossed the Star Blade toward Li Hao.

Li Hao quickly caught the Star Blade and examined it carefully. Then, gripping the blade, he crept toward the school like a thief.

A short moment later.

In the school playground.

Bursts of zombie roars and screams of pain rang out.

Ye Fan slowly stood up, clapped his hands, and whispered with a smile, "Oh, looks like it's started. I should go take a look."

Following the wall, Ye Fan quickly reached the main gate and carefully poked his head into the school to check the situation inside.

In the middle of the playground,

Li Hao was being chased by a pack of zombies. He ran with the Star Blade while activating his Supernatural Ability to attack the zombies behind him.

But there were simply too many zombies behind him.

He was completely powerless against them and could only flee frantically, shouting at the top of his lungs.

"Damn it, are you kidding me? Stop chasing me, help!"

"Fuck, you beasts, when will you give it a rest!..."

Watching this scene, Ye Fan actually felt a trace of amusement. For some reason, he felt this scene was incredibly entertaining.

Ye Fan crossed his arms and stared at Li Hao, who was running all over the place being chased by zombies, and shouted with a laugh.

"Hey, keep running! What are you afraid of? Kill them for me!"

"Ah! Master, I was wrong, please save me! I really can't take it anymore, these zombies are too terrifying." Hearing Ye Fan's voice, Li Hao quickly looked back with a bitter face and shouted for help.

"Hey! Are you even a man? I told you a man can't say he can't do it, don't you know that?" Ye Fan said with a joyful expression, fanning the flames from the side.

"What man! I'm a little femboy now, I really can't do it, save me!" Li Hao shouted as he ran.

"Tsk tsk tsk! 666, you're really shameless! You can actually say something like that, where's your backbone?"

"Backbone? What's backbone? Can it keep me alive?"

Ye Fan was speechless upon hearing this.

Li Hao screamed at Ye Fan, "Master, save me, I really can't do it! If this continues, I'm really going to be eaten by these zombies."

"Then be eaten! It's not me being eaten anyway," Ye Fan continued to mock him.

Li Hao was truly regretting it now. He had nowhere to turn for help while being relentlessly pursued by the pack of zombies.

If he had known it would be like this,

He would never have been so reckless as to rush into the school headlong.

He especially shouldn't have been the first to attack and alert the zombies.

Sigh!

But now, words were just tears.

It was too late for regrets.
