100: Chapter 100 Today, the Ning family is no more in the three counties.

The Ning Family's guardian array only had its daily alert state activated, and that pale golden light barrier drifted lazily in the night, failing to display even half of its usual defensive might.

The Ning Family had lorded over this place for decades, never expecting that one day someone would dare to attack their doorstep.

When two Foundation Establishment Stage auras plummeted from the skies like shooting stars and jointly bombarded the weakest eye of the array, that light barrier could not even hold for three breaths before shattering like glazed glass with a deafening roar.

The fragments all over the sky refracted countless streams of light under the moonlight, looking as if a ferocious wound had been torn open in the night sky.

After a loud boom, the Ning Family Manor deep within Mount Xiao was completely exposed to the night.

Wang Shouren stood up from the shadows, the thunder spear in his hand entirely dark gold, its tip flashing with a cold, piercing glint under the moonlight.

Behind him, dozens of elite members of the Wang Family wore uniform black night garments, with only their eyes exposed, while the spiritual light of the Magical Artifacts in their hands surged darkly.

Gazing at the brightly lit yet utterly chaotic Ning Family Manor under the moonlight, a cold arc curled up the corner of his mouth.

"The array is broken, Sixth Grandpa and Father will entangle Ning Shengli, and the rest—" He pointed his spear forward, and crimson-gold lightning burst from the spear tip, illuminating half the street, "Follow me and slaughter our way in. Man, woman, young, or old, leave not a single one alive."

"Understood!" Dozens of black figures swept past his side like a tide, charging into the Ning Family Manor.

"Remember, starting today, the Three Counties will no longer have the Ning Family!"

Wang Shouren took the lead, his thunder spear sweeping horizontally outward.

The spear tip sliced through an arc of dark gold light, carrying the true intent of fierce thunder, cutting three Ning Family guards rushing head-on straight in half at the waist.

Fresh blood splattered onto his black night garment, but he didn't even blink an eyelid. Without retracting his spear momentum, he flicked his backhand, sending another Ning Family disciple who pounced from the side flying away. That person's chest was pierced by the spear tip, and they breathed their last before even managing to let out a scream.

Behind him, the elite members of the Wang Family were like tigers entering a flock of sheep, killing whoever they saw and hacking at whoever they met.

The roars of Magical Artifacts colliding, the muffled sounds of sharp blades entering flesh, and the dying screams and cries intertwined, turning this once-haughty Ning Family Manor into a Shura field.

Flames ignited from everywhere, and thick smoke billowed straight into the sky, reflecting a dark red hue across half of the night sky.

"Who goes there! How dare you trespass into our Ning Family! Don't let a single one escape!"

A Late Stage Qi Refining Elder of the Ning Family rushed out from the inner courtyard. Before he could finish shouting his words, Wang Shouren had already stepped on the lightning light and closed in on him, piercing his protective spiritual light with a single spear thrust and nailing him along with his sword onto the doorpost.

That Elder widened his eyes, looking at the young face in front of him, his lips moving as if wanting to say something. Wang Shouren flipped his wrist, and the spear tip violently twisted inside the Elder's chest cavity, shattering his final words along with his remaining vitality.

On the Plucking Stars Tower, the core of the Ning Family Manor, Ning Shengli flew backward out of the shattered window, vomiting a mouthful of blood and heavily smashing into the artificial rockery in the courtyard, sending gravel scattering in all directions.

Struggling to climb up, his face covered in blood and filth, he glared at the two figures stepping slowly out from the shattered window. Wang Chongyang's gray robes fluttered heavily, the crimson flames around his body still unextinguished, while Wang Yaozu's green robes were stained with blood, and the long sword in his hand was still dripping with beads of blood.

"Wang Chongyang! Wang Yaozu! You are insane! This is extermination of a Family! The laws of the Yue State—the Three Sects will not let you off!"

"The laws of the Yue State?" Wang Chongyang stood with his hands behind his back, his aged voice as calm as water.

"When Family Head Ning killed people, why didn't you think about the laws of the Yue State?"

He did not give Ning Shengli any chance to catch his breath. Striking out with both palms simultaneously, crimson-flame palm prints came entwining like two fire dragons.

Ning Shengli hurriedly sacrificed a bronze shield, the runes on the shield face shining brightly as he took the two palm strikes head-on.

The fire dragons slammed into the shield face, sending sparks flying in all directions. The bronze shield shattered with a crisp sound, and Ning Shengli spat out another mouthful of blood, his figure staggering backward.

Wang Yaozu's long sword had already stabbed over from the side, its sword momentum plain and unadorned, yet as fast as lightning.

Ning Shengli dodged to the side to avoid a fatal blow, but a wound deep enough to see bone was slashed open on his shoulder, causing him to let out a muffled groan of pain.

Fighting two opponents alone, he retreated step by step, wanting to send out a distress signal, but every time he barely touched the communication talisman, he was forced back by a palm strike from Wang Chongyang, without even a moment to catch his breath.

At the other end of the manor, Great Elder Ning Shengkui dragged a leg scorched by lightning light, fleeing desperately in a limp amidst the flames.

The white figure behind him was getting closer and closer, the tip of the thunder spear dragging a long scorched mark across the bluestone slab, and the cracking sound of electric arcs exploding became increasingly clear.

Knowing he could no longer escape, he turned around abruptly, throwing out three disposable self-detonating Magical Artifacts from his sleeves, and cried out hoarsely: "I'll fight you to the death!"

Wang Shouren did not even dodge. With a vibration of his long spear, the crimson-gold lightning completely shredded the explosive might of the Magical Artifacts, while his thunder spear suffered not the slightest damage.

"Th-This... What kind of Magical Artifact is this?!"

The next instant, the spear tip had pierced Great Elder Ning Shengkui's throat, nailing his entire body to the courtyard wall behind him.

Great Elder Ning Shengkui widened his eyes as bloody foam gushed from his mouth. His limbs twitched a few times before going motionless.

This Grand Elder, who held high power and position in the Ning Family and had personally laid down such a massive foundation for the Ning Family back in the day, was thus nailed to death on his own courtyard wall.

Deep within the manor, Wang Shouyi cleaved open the treasury door with a single saber strike, and several Wang Family disciples following behind him swarmed in.

The sight inside the treasury made everyone gasp in a breath of cold air—crates of Spirit Stones were neatly stacked, and the Magical Artifact racks were filled with middle and High Grade Magical Artifacts, so numerous that even Wang Shouyi, Wang Yaowu's biological son, had never seen before.

"Magical Artifacts like a mountain, like a mountain, is the Ning Family's foundation really this thick?"

Compared to these Magical Artifacts, the dozen or so boxes of Spirit Stones seemed less important.

"The Ning Family is an Artifact Refining Family. The reason they were able to establish themselves in Xiaoshan County so quickly and stand rival to old-established families like ours is entirely because of their Artifact Refiners."

"Right, Brother Shouyi is right. I heard that early on, the Ning Family obtained a Jade Slip recording complete insights on Artifact Refining, which is how they got rich and prospered so quickly."

"Whether the Jade Slip is here or not, everyone hurry up and search."

Everyone searched everywhere. A few large boxes were piled in the corner, and upon opening them, they were completely filled with diamond raw ores of extremely high quality, absolute, absolute priceless value.

"The Ning Family members couldn't bear to use them, and now they've all benefited us."

"Hahaha."

In the deepest part of the treasury, a few remaining Ning Family disciples still wanted to put up a desperate resistance, but Wang Shouyi chopped them down to the ground one by one with his saber.

Wiping the blood from his face, he turned back and shouted toward the outside: "Go tell Brother Shouren, the Ning Family's treasury has been found! There are tons of things, call people over to move them!"

On the other side of the manor, Wang Qingxin pulled a short blade out of a corpse.

That was a Ning Family disciple around her age, whose attire showed he was even of the direct lineage, still clutching a dagger in his hand before death that he hadn't managed to stab out.

With a blank expression, she wiped the blood on the blade clean against the corpse's lapel and stood up, sensing yet another warm stream of blood qi drifting out from the corpse and sinking into her body.

That stream of blood qi was not sinister after entering her body; instead, it carried a strange warmth, circulating and settling within her Meridians before finally merging into her Dantian.

She could clearly feel that her cultivation base had risen by a sliver once more.

"Killing people is much faster than sitting in meditation to Cultivate."

The corners of her mouth hooked up; she had already touched the threshold of Qi Refining Layer 2.

Raising her head, her gaze pierced through the firelight and thick smoke, falling upon those few rooms at the very back of the manor that had yet to catch fire—that was the backyard where the Ning Family's dependents were hiding.
