16: Chapter 16 Compound Bow Upgrade

It is necessary to nurture the Great Medicine in the Middle Dantian, causing it to gradually transform into the "Saint," which is the condensed form of the Innate Primordial Spirit.

The "Great Medicine" that has been migrated is placed in the Middle Dantian, and it is continuously observed and nourished by a subtle, innate divine intent, which is called "Gentle Fire" nurturing.

This is likened to "like a hen brooding over an egg" or "like a dragon nurturing a pearl."

Upon entering a deeper state of meditative absorption, the acquired breathing through the nose and mouth becomes increasingly subtle, appearing to exist yet not exist, and energy metabolism is mainly maintained by the innate "True Breath."

At this time, the cultivator appears to be in a deep sleep or meditative absorption, but their inner heart is completely Ling Ming.

After about ten months of nurturing, the acquired distracting thoughts are completely faded, and the Innate Primordial Spirit gradually becomes robust and distinct, laying the foundation for the next stage of Refining Spirit into Void.

If one has passed through these three stages, one has basically completed the cultivation of [Refining Qi into Spirit].

However, the exact level of heat required for each step still needs to be tested bit by bit by his Incarnation.

Fortunately, he has this Incarnation talent.

Otherwise, he would only be able to go to a Taoist temple and see if any lineage was willing to take him in.

Wang An's own physical fitness has now basically reached two or three times that of an ordinary person.

Realms that require special techniques to achieve, such as "Non-Action," "Five Dragons Holding the Saint," "Great Absorption," and "True Embryonic Breath," can all be directly achieved through his current powerful attributes, saving cultivation time.

Besides experimenting with new techniques, there is also the choice of the second strand of Innate Wondrous Qi.

This Wondrous Qi needs to be able to increase the body's Yang Qi energy.

The easiest to collect is the Qi of the Sun.

However, this kind of energy from heaven and earth, the Qi of the Sun, is truly too violent.

Even with the neutralization of the Lunar Qi, I fear there is a certain degree of danger.

Therefore, it is better to choose Lesser Yang Qi. Wait until the body gradually adapts to these cold and hot changes, then gradually collect and refine the more extreme Sun Qi and the most extreme Extreme Yang Qi.

In fact, this kind of collection and refinement is also a form of exercise for the body. With the Martial Artist's auxiliary skill [Repair], it can accelerate the body's Repair ability and improve the effectiveness of the exercise.

Just like Lunar, Lesser Yin, and Extreme Yin, the collection and refinement of the three types of Qi—Lesser Yang, Sun, and Extreme Yang—are also divided by time and segments.

And Lesser Yang Qi can only be collected and refined during the time slots of 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

These past few days, Wang An has gone out through his Incarnation and observed a great deal of the Qi of heaven and earth.

The pure Qi in the mountain forests, the Earth Vein Qi in mountain hollows and caves, the water Qi between mountain peaks and flowing water, as well as the cloud Qi in the sky.

These types of Qi are actually all combinations of the gathered powers of the Five Elements. As for pure Five Elements Qi, it is actually very difficult to find.

Or perhaps, with his current perspective, he is not yet qualified to see them.

The next morning, just as he was preparing to collect and refine Lesser Yang Qi, he heard the increasingly noisy sounds in the residential complex.

He thought to himself.

"It seems it is time to change houses. This time, I need to choose a quieter place."

Moreover, he needs to buy a car for transportation; the company's car is needed for exploration.

Today, Wang An wants to use the club's connections to upgrade his Compound Bow, as he needs to significantly increase its draw weight.

So, he took that top-tier Compound Bow directly to find Coach Chen, who was still teaching some public classes to newcomers at this time.

He stood to the side and waited for a while. From time to time, people's gazes were drawn to him as Wang An's body gradually strengthened.

His skin now revealed a healthy, rosy glow. Just standing there, he exuded an aura of calmness and gentleness.

In fact, Wang An's physique had not changed much; the main changes were internal. The duration of each breath was long and light.

His eyes were bright and possessed spirituality, his bone density had increased, and his body weight had risen without making his muscles prominent.

His every move was sometimes as heavy as a mountain, and sometimes as light as a fly.

When the class ended, Coach Chen walked over to Wang An and invited him to a nearby office.

Looking at the youthful and dashing young man before him, Coach Chen clicked his tongue in wonder and often sighed with admiration.

He recalled the scenes from when he previously taught Wang An archery.

He only explained a few basic archery essentials, and within two or three days, Wang An had mastered the movement of archery.

The first time, he hit the target at 10m; the next day, he hit the 10-ring at 20m; the third day, 30m; until later, he could hit seven or eight rings at fifty or sixty meters. His speed of progress was jaw-dropping.

At that time, Coach Chen had thought that a world champion would emerge from his hands; as long as he learned the recurve bow for a while longer, given his learning speed, he would basically be at the level to dominate archery championships.

Unfortunately, when Coach Chen suggested that he wanted to recommend Wang An to learn the recurve bow and participate in world competitions, Wang An politely declined.

Stating that he was only interested in Compound Bow hunting and had no intention of participating in competitions, Coach Chen often felt regretful.

But seeing Wang An like this today, he knew that the other person was a Taoist master who had achieved success in his cultivation; this kind of appearance and aura meant that every move he made carried the power of thunder.

Coach Chen had only seen a few Taoist masters with this kind of physique in his early years.

Therefore, he treated Wang An with a bit more solemnity and said with a smile.

"Mr. Wang, what is the matter that you came in person? You could have just told me on your phone. As long as it is something that I, Chen, can do, feel free to say it."

Looking at Coach Chen's solemn appearance, Wang An said with a smile.

"It's nothing urgent, I just wanted to ask you if there is a way to increase the draw weight of this 80lb Compound Bow. The current draw weight is too light and not quite suitable."

Hearing that the topic was about his area of expertise, Coach Chen asked with interest.

"80lbs is basically the standard for a top-tier Compound Bow. If you still want to increase the draw weight, of course you can. I have a few manufacturers here who can customize it for you, or I can make improvements to your current one. How many pounds do you need to add?"

Hearing that there was a possibility, Wang An's eyes lit up, and he said to Coach Chen.

"I want a Compound Bow of at least around 200lbs. Of course, it would be better if it could be improved upon this Compound Bow."

Coach Chen was startled when he heard him ask for 200lbs right off the bat. He shook his head with a wry smile and said.

"Mr. Wang, even with the world's top materials and technology, it can only reach about 100lbs, with an effective range of 100m. The 200lb Compound Bow you want, I'm afraid no one can draw it, and with current technology and craftsmanship, it cannot be made."

Hearing this, Wang An was a little disappointed. He had thought that using the top materials and craftsmanship, if not 200lbs, it would at least be over 100lbs. The 200lbs he mentioned earlier was just a test; maybe it existed.
