19: Chapter 19 [Feng Shui Master]
Following this was an introduction to three types of creatures: the Boar King, the Bamboo Viper, and the porcupine.
Among them, the information on the Boar King was the most extensive.
"Look, this is the Boar King I encountered during my last exploration. I roughly estimate it to be at least 800 jin, and its tusks are at least half a meter long."
Seeing the picture of the Boar King rooting in the grass and foraging, the four of them all drew a sharp breath.
Even though they had heard Coach Chen talk about this size of boar before.
But actually seeing the real photo brought a different kind of pressure.
After the shock came excitement.
These few people had been playing with bows and arrows for at least a dozen years, and more or less, they had all thought about using the bows in their hands to hunt wild beasts, let alone such a large Boar King.
Captain Wang Quan's resonant voice rang in their ears.
"If you encounter a boar of this size in the future.
You must be extremely careful, do not make any sound, retreat and run away, and do not think about going head-to-head with it.
If you cannot escape, then you must climb a tree thick enough and wait for rescue; do not have any thoughts of defeating it on your own."
Then came another photo, in which the Boar King was shown with an arrow piercing its eyeball, and three more arrows stuck in its body.
"Unless you have the ability to 100% hit the Boar King's brain or eyes with a single arrow.
Otherwise, don't even think about other hunting methods."
The last photo showed five or six boars howling around the carcass of the Boar King.
You see, boars are basically gregarious animals; if you don't have the ability to kill it in one blow, then run away immediately, otherwise, you are very likely to face a siege.
Afterward, there were photos of poisoning from Bamboo Vipers and weasels, as well as photos of porcupine quills.
Seeing the photos of these dangerous creatures, Hu Jun and Li Guohua began to have second thoughts.
But seeing that there was no fear in the eyes of Chen Zhenhua and Mo Yuemei because of the dangerous creatures.
Instead, they were even more excited to see the Boar King killed and to discover the speculation about venomous snakes and porcupine quills, which triggered the hunting genes in their bodies.
The two of them slowly calmed down and had no intention of quitting.
Seeing that they had not given up because of the dangerous creatures, Captain Wang Quan began to introduce the true goal of the Exploration Team.
"Our boss has already had Coach Chen tell you about the distribution of the meteorite.
But I want to emphasize it once more here: your participation in this exploration activity, whether collected individually or together, will all be considered the company's harvest and recovered by relevant agencies."
The four of them were sensible and knew that during this exploration activity, because of their presence, Captain Wang Quan would have to divert his energy to look after them.
And as auxiliary members helping the company collect the meteorite, it was considered a fair deal, mutually beneficial, so they all nodded in agreement without any objections.
They were also clear about their own weight in wilderness survival.
After all, the thing people fear most is misjudging their own abilities, encountering danger, and doing stupid things.
Afterward, he continued to explain wilderness survival knowledge to them and the arrangements for the next few days.
And notified them that they might be exploring in a few days, telling them to arrange their time well.
These past few days, Wang An had been posting a bounty on the [National Special Resources and Talent Exchange Platform] for secret methods to set up Feng Shui energy fields, or asking if anyone knew of any sect traditions that he could pay a price to borrow and read.
The answers he received were basically just collections of records documenting special Heaven and Earth Qi fields.
No one had heard of such secret methods.
Some people were kind enough to warn Wang An, saying that secret methods were all scams and that he should believe in science.
The contents in Feng Shui theory regarding "concealing wind and gathering Qi" and "mountain and water patterns" were essentially the ancients' summary of experience regarding the natural environment and psychological experience.
A bit disappointed with these answers, he could only read historical classics such as the "Book of Burial," "Classic of Shaking Dragons," and "Essential Knowledge for Geography."
Combining this with modern scholars' research on Feng Shui, he discovered that what people called Feng Shui.
Was merely influencing the overall energy flow and magnetic field through the modification of local areas.
No one had ever been able to build, from scratch, a Feng Shui energy field according to their own needs and thoughts.
"I didn't expect it to be like this. Perhaps this [ Feng Shui Master ] profession doesn't exist in real life at all.
But the career guidance clearly shows the job-change requirements, indicating that this profession can be taken up.
And according to previous career guidance, professions that do not exist or involve extraordinary powers would not have job-change information.
So Wang An felt that the [ Feng Shui Master ] profession could be taken up.
But in reality, there are no Feng Shui Masters who can completely set up a Feng Shui energy field.
It could also be said that this profession, this path, is still in the early stages of empirical development and has not yet taken shape, though it might take shape in the future.
The whole thing returned to the starting point.
Wang An had to start from himself and, based on previous records of Feng Shui energy fields, explore the laws and functions of Feng Shui energy fields.
Starting from changing the Feng Shui energy field, he would step by step build a complete theory.
Until he could completely set up a purposeful Feng Shui energy field on his own, the [ Feng Shui Master ] profession would not be successfully taken up.
Fortunately, Wang An now had an excellent item in his hand to assist in learning Feng Shui energy fields, and that was a sufficient number of job-change stones.
Based on the ability to resonate with and activate the Feng Shui energy field in the Kun Mountain meteorite impact site, thereby enhancing the magnetic field and shielding external artificial signals.
The job-change stones still had some functions that had not been explored. Perhaps the country might have some research on them, after all, they had recovered many job-change stones, but they wouldn't tell him.
But he had a perspective that most people didn't have, which was his talent: observing the Qi of all things.
Perhaps he could reverse-engineer the formation of Feng Shui energy fields through the perspective of Heaven and Earth Qi.
On the 9th, Wang An moved into a villa in the suburbs; perhaps he could use the forest behind the villa to conduct Feng Shui experiments.
By observing the Qi near the villa, apart from the human Qi present in houses where people lived, he didn't see any other Qi.
But looking towards the back hill and the summit, he could see the water Qi on the summit flowing from the summit to the surroundings, while the clear Qi of the forest circulated around the forest.
He began the experiment.
Wang An first hid a job-change stone behind the villa, but saw no change.
Then he went to the summit, hid a job-change stone, and continued to observe.
An hour later, Wang An saw that the speed at which the water Qi on the summit flowed to the surroundings had become a bit faster.
The circulation of the forest's clear Qi became slower when it passed between the two job-change stones.
Moreover, only when the distance between the two job-change stones was within 100m could they produce "resonance."
They played a role in slowing down and accelerating the passing water Qi and clear Qi.
After discovering this law, Wang An was very excited.
This showed that his line of thinking was correct; perhaps it was precisely a large number of job-change stones that, by influencing the changes and speed of Heaven and Earth Qi, thereby strengthened the Feng Shui energy field in the area, leading to an enhanced magnetic field.
This also showed that there was a strong correlation between the Feng Shui energy field and magnetic field strength, and the changes and speed of Heaven and Earth Qi.
Following this, he verified this conjecture by arranging job-change stones in different shapes, quantities, and positions.
