35: Chapter 35 Unexpected Developments

After a night of cultivation, Yang Bai had fully recovered his state and arrived at his class feeling refreshed.

"Hmph, I hope you can do as you say." Ge Weidong snorted unhappily, then took two cards out of the drawer and placed them on the table.

"I didn't call you here to lecture you this time. Wu Youfang previously embezzled your things; this is the supplementary compensation from Jinghai University, and there is also compensation from the school."

Yang Bai's eyes lit up, and he immediately picked up the two cards to examine them.

The black sedan started, drove through the street woods, and arrived in front of a high-end restaurant that looked very private.

Gu Sichao got out of the car and nodded to the waiter in front. The latter understood and led the two into a VIP private room at the back of the restaurant.

As soon as he sat down, Gu Sichao took off his sunglasses, and the situation was exactly as Yang Bai had thought.

One of Gu Sichao's eyes was injured, his eye socket was full of bruises, and he looked very disheveled.

Yang Bai suppressed the smile at the corner of his mouth and said with a serious face, "Class Leader Gu, did you start a deity battle with someone?"

Gu Sichao took out a pack of cigarettes, pulled one out, lit it, and said with a look of despair, "Yang Bai, you are truly reckless. I told you so much before entering, and you treated it as wind past your ears. I told you to just fend off the official participants, that would have been enough. Why did you kill them all?"
