151: Chapter 151 The Creation of Heaven and Earth, Starting from Two Nanometers

Top-floor conference room, Star Technology headquarters building.

Seated around the circular conference table, the core team members of Star Technology were all present.

Chen Xu sat in the head seat.

Guan Yi, Yan Yi, Yan Er, Chen Shiyi, Chen Shier, and Chen Shisan were lined up on both sides.

Ling, her bare feet floating beside Chen Xu, had silver data radiance flowing in her eyes.

Chen Xu's gaze first fell on Chen Shisan, who was in charge of hardware manufacturing.

"What is the upgrade progress of the 'Ziwei' photolithography machine?"

Chen Shisan stood up from his seat.

"Reporting to the Boss, the upgrade and modification of 'Ziwei No. 2' were all completed last week."

His voice was steady and powerful, echoing in the quiet conference room.

"After seventy-two hours of continuous stress testing, the stable process node has been successfully pushed to 2nm."

"In the test batches, the chip yield rate has stabilized at over eighty-five percent."

2 nanometers.

The appearance of this number didn't cause much surprise among the core members present.

However, Yan Yi, who was in charge of software architecture, knew better than anyone what a 2nm process node meant.

Compared to the current stage, it was simply a dimensional strike—absolute technical crushing by Star Technology.

Intel was still pouring its heart and soul into the yield rate for 7nm.

TSMC's 3nm had just entered risky trial production full of uncertainty.

Meanwhile, Chen Xu's factory had already turned 2nm—a scale that only existed in the theories of top laboratories—into an industrial product capable of stable production.

Chen Shisan's report continued.

"Currently, we are conducting stability tests for the 1nm process. Preliminary data is optimistic, but it will still take some time for debugging and optimization."

Chen Xu nodded; all of this was within his calculations.

He gave the first command to Chen Shisan.

"That set of 'Dragon Scale' exoskeletons that just arrived—you and Yan Er are responsible for redesigning them."

Hearing this, Yan Er also stood up from his seat.

Chen Xu's gaze lingered on the two of them.

"I don't care what methods you use, whether it's disassembly or reconstruction."

"I want it to become a true individual weapon in one month, not a clunky iron shell."

"Understood, Boss."

Chen Shisan and Yan Er answered in unison.

Yan Er took a step forward and added.

"Boss, our second-generation bio-neural sensors finished final design last week. They can achieve zero-latency electromyographic signal capture and two-way feedback, which is perfect for this new equipment."

There was an absolute confidence in his voice.

"It will allow the user to truly feel that the armor is an extension of their own body."

"Very good."

Chen Xu gave his approval.

"You have unlimited use of all technology and resources."

With the first task assigned, Chen Xu turned his gaze to Ling and Yan Yi.

"The second task: PC chips."

This task made Yan Yi's expression turn solemn.

Chen Xu's knuckles tapped lightly on the tabletop.

“Project Code: Chongming.”

"My requirements this time are different from 'Kunlun'."

Chen Xu's gaze swept over the two of them.

"I don't want X86 compatibility."

"I want a brand new underlying instruction set architecture entirely built on the logic of the Chinese language."

These words sent Yan Yi into deep thought.

This requirement had already exceeded the scope of software engineering; it was about establishing a whole new system.

The difficulty was no less than reinventing the computer itself.

Yan Yi opened his lips, about to analyze the technical barriers involved.

Beside him, the massive data stream in Ling's silver eyes turned into a storm.

"Boss," Ling's voice rang out directly in the conference room, "your concept is feasible."

Everyone's eyes focused on Ling.

Ling continued to explain; her voice lacked emotion, yet it contained the power of truth.

"The pictographic, indicative, and ideographic structures of Chinese characters naturally possess highly parallelized logical features. Unlike linearly arranged alphabetic scripts, every radical and component of a Chinese character can be defined as an independent logical computing unit."

"A Chinese character is itself a miniature, highly integrated algorithm package."

"If we design a brand new underlying CPU instruction set based on this structure, its theoretical efficiency in handling multi-threaded, high-concurrency tasks will be more than three times that of the existing X86 architecture."

Ling's explanation sent both Yan Yi and Yan Er into contemplation.

As top experts in their respective fields, they quickly understood the possibilities behind this theory.

The way Yan Yi looked at Ling was no longer as if looking at a colleague.

It was as if looking at a deity walking among mortals.

Chen Xu looked at Yan Yi and Ling.

"Once the design is complete, use 'Ziwei No. 2' to tape out a batch of 2nm samples."

He finally looked at Ling and assigned the most critical task.

"While the chip is being designed, I need you to simultaneously develop a PC operating system. Referencing Zhoutian OS, integrate our Taiyi into it. The system name will be 'Zhoutian PC'."

Chen Xu stood up and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window of the conference room, looking out at the Technology Park that belonged to him.

"The mobile version of 'Taiyi' is just a beginning."

"On the PC side, I want 'Taiyi' to become the soul of the entire operating system. It will no longer be an assistant; it will be the operating system itself."

"What users need to do is no longer clicking icons or searching for files."

"But rather using natural language directly to tell the computer their intentions."

"Wanting to write a report, wanting to edit a video, wanting to play a game."

"The user only needs to speak their thoughts, and all remaining operations will be completed by 'Taiyi' in the background."

The blueprint Chen Xu described left everyone in the conference room feeling shocked.

This wasn't human-computer interaction; this was human-computer symbiosis.

A new era where AI completely takes over all underlying operations, and humans are only responsible for giving the final commands.

Standing to the side, Guan Yi finally understood the true meaning of the Boss's previous words: "We are defining the market."

The Boss's goal was never to snatch territory from Apple or Intel.

He was going to directly announce that the original territory no longer existed.

From now on, this land is called Xingchen.
