214: If you say so, then it is!

I don’t know how long passed, but a ‘buzzing’ sound rang in my mind, like the flapping of wings.

A soft yet urgent voice kept echoing in my mind: “Master, wake up, wake up, don’t go any further!”

Under the call of this voice, Chu Mo’s mind regained some clarity.

He slowly opened his eyes.

What greeted his sight was a magnificent Buddhist temple.

The temple’s plaque read: Jinshan Temple!

“What the heck… how did I end up at Jinshan Temple?! What exactly happened?!”

Just as he was about to quickly leave this troublesome place, a heavy bell rang from within Jinshan Temple.

Chu Mo felt as if his Soul was about to be shaken out by the bell, and then something drilled into his heart, heading straight for his Primordial Spirit.

His Primordial Spirit, however, was hard-controlled by the bell, completely unable to make any moves.

“Damn it! What the hell is this?!”

“Don’t touch me!”

He wanted to use his Primordial Spirit to obliterate the strange Soul that had suddenly intruded into his body, but he was firmly controlled, powerless to use any means.

Closer, closer.....

This Soul, carrying an extremely strong obsession and an incredibly bizarre aura, drilled into Chu Mo’s Primordial Spirit.

The next moment, a sharp, piercing pain, as if his Soul was being torn apart, swept through his entire body.

Chu Mo was drenched in cold sweat from the pain.

“Damn it, I’m done for!?”

Just as this thought surfaced in his mind, the pain in his Primordial Spirit suddenly dissipated, replaced by a cool sensation.

His Primordial Spirit felt comforted, as pleasant as drinking an ice-cold cola in a scorching desert.

“Crunch, crunch, crunch.....”

A chewing sound rang in his mind.

Little Butterfly’s soft and satisfied voice simultaneously sounded: “Delicious, delicious! It’s crispy! Little Butterfly likes it! I want more!”

It was the Ghost Face Butterfly Queen, residing in his Primordial Spirit, who had resolved this crisis for him.

Chu Mo decided he would treat this little one well in the future.

As for what to do now.

Of course, it was to cherish life and stay far away from Jinshan Temple.

This time a special Soul appeared, next time who knows what kind of strange thing will appear.

It might even be a more bizarre existence.

“The bell has stopped, it’s best to leave as soon as possible......”

Just as Chu Mo was about to step away, the closed main gate of Jinshan Temple let out a ‘creak’.

The heavy vermilion-lacquered gate slowly opened to both sides.

A group of monks in yellow robes, with lowered eyes, walked out, holding wooden fish in their hands, striking them as they walked, and chanting Buddhist scriptures.

Of course, this scene was very strange.

But even stranger was that one of the monks was particularly familiar.

Isn’t this Shi Fang?!

At this moment, facing the scene before him, Chu Mo didn’t know whether he should wake Shi Fang up.

Because Jinshan Temple was too peculiar.

First, there was the bell that hard-controlled him, and then there was this group of monks striking wooden fish and chanting Buddhist scriptures.

Even though he was a Soul Transformation Stage Cultivator, he still felt a faint sense of unease at this moment.

Some things have nothing to do with strength.

The unknown is terrifying.

And more importantly, he seemed to be no match for Fahai in terms of strength.

Thinking this, he felt even less secure.

“Everyone, it’s getting late, I won’t bother you anymore, we’ll see each other next time, goodbye.....”

Dropping this sentence, Chu Mo turned to leave, but was suddenly called out by a familiar voice from the crowd.

“Xu Shi Zhu, are you going to find that snake demon?!”

Huh? Me?

Xu Shi Zhu?!

There shouldn’t be any other non-monks here, so if there’s no accident, this Xu Shi Zhu might be calling him.

But, he isn’t surnamed Xu!

Wait.

Chu Mo thought of a crucial point.

Just now, a special Soul, taking advantage of his body and Primordial Spirit being hard-controlled by that strange bell, tried to drill into his Primordial Spirit......

Damn it!

Could this be Xu Xian?!

Chu Mo himself was startled by this thought.

He wanted to overturn this conjecture.

But observing the expressions of these monks, they didn’t look like they were acting at all; they were indeed calling him.

What to do? Should he accept this identity and go in, or tell them they’ve mistaken him for someone else?!

Two thoughts kept swirling in his mind.

He even wanted to choose to return to his own world, to leave this wretched place.

Because, he had hesitated just a moment before and his mind had been controlled by the Buddhist sound, which led him to the entrance of Jinshan Temple.

But, there was always a voice inside him, telling him to accept the identity of Xu Xian and continue with this identity.

“Damn it! My fate is in my own hands, not heaven’s, I’m leaving......”

As soon as this thought surfaced in Chu Mo’s mind, an extremely familiar figure flew out from Jinshan Temple, arriving before him at a speed undetectable by the naked eye.

This person was exceptionally handsome, dressed in a white monk’s robe, with compassion revealed between his brows, like a truly enlightened Great Master.

The moment he saw this person, two words flashed in Chu Mo’s mind—Fahai!

“Xu Shi Zhu, humans and demons walk different paths......”

“Yes, yes, yes! Great Master Fahai, everything you say is right, humans and demons walk different paths, the snake demon wants to trick me out of my essence, drain me dry, and increase her Cultivation; I won’t fall for it! Great Master Fahai, I want you to help me Cultivate, help me Cultivate a Karma body, help me Cultivate this life’s Buddha!”

Fahai: “???”

Chu Mo’s unconventional way of playing his cards directly bewildered Fahai; his widened eyes seemed to disbelieve that the Xu Xian in front of him was so agreeable.

But, he still performed a Buddhist salute.

“amitabha, since Xu Shi Zhu is willing to convert to Buddhism, then this humble monk is naturally willing to shave Xu Shi Zhu’s head and guide him into our Buddhist sect!”

“Great Master Fahai, please!”

Chu Mo went with the flow, taking the initiative, and made a welcoming gesture to Fahai, extremely enthusiastic.

It was as if Fahai was the one to be ordained, and he was the guide leading someone into Buddhism.

Chu Mo’s drastic change in demeanor was actually due to Fahai’s appearance.

Because Fahai didn’t immediately unleash Great Strength Heavenly Dragon, it proved that there was still room for maneuver.

Furthermore, Fahai had already called him Xu Shi Zhu.

If he didn’t show some appreciation, wouldn’t he be letting down Great Master Fahai’s courteous attitude?

In addition, only by entering Buddhism would he have a chance to obtain the Cultivation method of “Great Strength Heavenly Dragon” from Fahai.

As for shaving his head.

A minor matter!

He could get a Medicinal Pill in the Ming Dynasty, eat it, and all his hair would grow back; it didn’t matter if he was bald now.

When he left this world.

He would still be that white-robed sword immortal of Xuanxiao Sect, with his flowing white robes and a three-foot green blade in hand.
