140: Lingmiao Garden

The Ancient Demon’s resentful gaze, upon meeting Lin Feng’s indifferent eyes, instantly turned into a bone-chilling coldness.

He felt as if his Demonic Soul was being stripped bare under the gaze of those eyes, with no thought able to hide.

“Do you know where the Lingmiao Garden is?”

Lin Feng asked, channeling the Great Evolution Art.

Deep within his eyes, an invisible Divine Sense power quietly locked onto the Ancient Demon’s Demonic Soul.

The Ancient Demon’s heart stirred.

The Lingmiao Garden? He naturally knew.

But he knew even more clearly that there were two “Spiritual Myriad Gardens” in this Fallen Demon Valley.

One was the true ancient medicinal garden, while the other was the dwelling place of his other body, a carefully laid trap.

A thought flashed through his mind.

If he could lead this person to his companion, perhaps with their combined strength, there might still be a glimmer of hope.

He was just about to speak, to utter that false address.

A foot, however, enlarged before his eyes without warning, firmly imprinting itself on the other side of his face.

Bang!

The small Demonic Soul body was kicked flying again, rolling several times on the ground.

“Behave.”

Lin Feng retracted his foot, looking down at him with a hint of impatience in his tone.

“I know you have another accomplice in this valley. If I find out you dare to deceive me…”

He paused, his voice becoming chilling.

“I don’t mind eradicating both of you.”

The Ancient Demon completely froze.

He lay on the ground, having forgotten the pain on his face, his heart filled only with horror.

This person… how did he know!

How did he know about the existence of another Ancient Demon in the valley!

That icy killing intent, like a tangible blade, pressed against his Demonic Soul, making him dare not entertain any more lucky.

“I’ll tell! I’ll tell!”

The Ancient Demon scrambled over, no longer daring to harbor any crooked thoughts, and honestly described in detail the location of the true Lingmiao Garden’s spatial node and the surrounding terrain features.

“That spatial node is extremely concealed; one must attack around it to cause spatial tremors, tearing open the weak point in space to enter,” the Ancient Demon’s voice trembled slightly, fearing Lin Feng wouldn’t believe him.

Lin Feng nodded, his Divine Sense already having memorized the location he spoke of.

He stared at the Ancient Demon and posed another question.

“Then do you know where Kunlun Mountain is?”

“Kunlun Mountain?!”

The Ancient Demon suddenly looked up, his eyes bursting with extreme shock.

How could this person know about Kunlun Mountain?

That place was an important stronghold from the ancient times when they followed the Holy Ancestor to this realm!

Could it be… could he be a descendant of those three from back then?

Thoughts spun rapidly in the Ancient Demon’s mind, and for a moment, he forgot to reply.

Seeing his silence, Lin Feng frowned and kicked him on the head again.

“I’m asking you a question.”

The Ancient Demon felt like he was about to cry.

He, a Soul Transformation Stage existence from the Demon Realm, had never suffered such humiliation, being kicked around like a ball.

But circumstances were stronger than him, so he could only endure the towering rage and grievance, hastily saying, “Senior, spare my life! That place… that place can only appear in the world if someone opens it from within; there is no fixed location! I truly do not know!”

Lin Feng stared into his eyes, his Divine Sense carefully sensing.

The Ancient Demon’s Demonic Soul fluctuated violently, filled with fear, but there was no sign of lying.

It seemed he truly didn’t know.

Lin Feng no longer pursued the matter, his Divine Sense spreading out to meticulously scan the entire hall.

A moment later, he withdrew his Divine Sense, a hint of disdain appearing on his face.

Aside from scattered stones and dust, the hall was empty, not even a single Low-Grade Spirit Stone.

He looked at the Ancient Demon on the ground and shook his head.

“You, Ancient Demon, are truly a failure.”

“You don’t even have any possessions; you’re utterly impoverished.”

The Ancient Demon lay on the ground, daring not to be angry, his Demonic Soul flickering erratically with rage.

To think that back in his day, he had countless treasures, but they had all been used for other purposes and were long exhausted.

Nangong Wan stood by, watching Lin Feng, with just a few words and a few kicks, subdue a notorious Ancient Demon into complete submission, a smile involuntarily curving at the corner of her lips.

Seeing that there was truly no more profit to be gained here, Lin Feng decided not to waste any more time.

He picked up the Ancient Demon and then clarified the exact location of the “fake Lingmiao Garden” where the other Ancient Demon was located.

“You stay here and recuperate well.”

Lin Feng casually tossed him onto the ground, no longer bothering with him.

He took Nangong Wan’s hand and excitedly said, “Wan’er, let’s go meet his companion.”

Nangong Wan smiled and nodded, letting him pull her.

Their figures flashed, and they disappeared at the hall entrance.

In the empty and silent hall, only the three-foot-tall Ancient Demon remained, lying alone on the ground, silently licking his wounds amidst endless humiliation and resentment.

…

Not long after.

Lin Feng and Nangong Wan arrived at another deep gorge.

Here, there was also a stone gate, but the Restriction on this stone gate was much cruder than the previous one.

Lin Feng didn’t even bother to break it, directly summoning the Hand of Rahu and shattering the stone gate with a single slap.

Behind the stone gate was another world.

However, this world was not filled with birdsong and flowers, but a barren wasteland.

The ground was dark red, devoid of any vegetation, and the air was filled with a thick, pure Devilish Qi that was almost solidified.

“The Devilish Qi here is astonishing,” Nangong Wan frowned slightly, “If Demonic Path Cultivators were to Cultivate here, they would likely advance by leaps and bounds.”

Lin Feng nodded, his expression relaxed as he led her further in.

In the center of the wasteland stood a massive stone tablet.

As soon as the two reached the tablet, a sudden change occurred.

The surrounding air suddenly became viscous, and grey Demonic Mist surged from all directions, obscuring the sky and sun.

An arrogant laugh echoed through the Demonic Mist.

“Hahaha! After so many years, I’ve finally waited for two more sacrifices!”

“Since you’ve come, obediently become a part of this Venerable One!”

Before his words finished, the boundless Demonic Mist churned, condensing into a giant human face, which opened its gaping maw and lunged towards Lin Feng and Nangong Wan.

That Ancient Demon had clearly discovered them as well.

Seeing that they were only two Early Stage Nascent Soul Cultivators, he didn’t pay them any mind.

However, he was a little curious.

Why were these two Human Race Cultivators not only unafraid in the face of his overwhelming Demonic Might, but instead stood motionless in place?

He even saw a hint of… pity in the male Cultivator’s eyes?

And that female Cultivator, what did the hint of eager excitement on her face mean?

A trace of confusion flashed through the Ancient Demon’s mind.

The next moment, he knew the answer.

He also finally understood why his companion’s Demonic Soul aura had suddenly become so weak.

He saw the alluring female Cultivator, under the encouraging gaze of the male Cultivator, raise her jade hand.

Familiar yet terrifying golden light rain once again sliced through this gloomy world.

The overwhelming [Heavenly Lightning Golden Adamantine Talismans], like the most scorching sun, instantly enveloped the giant Demonic Qi human face and the endless Demonic Mist behind it.

“Ah—!”

A piercing, distorted scream resounded throughout the entire space.

This Ancient Demon was even more miserable than his companion.

He had actively lunged forward to achieve a one-hit kill.

This meant he had essentially offered his face, taking the full brunt of all the damage.

Rumble!

The lightning faded.

In the air, only a Demonic Soul, even dimmer and weaker than the previous one, remained, trembling in the air, almost collapsing completely.

“It saved quite a bit of effort.”

Lin Feng’s face showed a satisfied expression.

He stepped forward, repeating the process, striking several Restriction runes into the Demonic Soul, completely taking control of it.

At this point, both powerful Ancient Demons in the Fallen Demon Valley had become his captives.

He left this Ancient Demon, whose life and death he also controlled, on the spot, no longer bothering with him.

Lin Feng took Nangong Wan’s hand and turned to walk out.

His gaze was directed towards a certain direction in the Fallen Demon Valley.

The true Lingmiao Garden was waiting for him there.
