54: Chapter 54 Galaxy Combat Power Ranking

Upon hearing this, Lin Feng's eyes instantly lit up.

"Having a competition to fight in is a good thing! Why do you look so gloomy? Do you have no confidence in me?"

Zhou Zhengguo gave a wry smile. "No... I'm not worried about you at all."

"It's just... compared to other star domains, the Blue Star Region has very few top-tier experts who can hold their own. Apart from you, who stands in a league of your own, the gap between the other ranked players and those from outside the region is just too vast."

Ye Weiyang, who was sitting to the side, full and satisfied, nodded in agreement. "That's right, Brother Feng. There are simply too few people on our side who can hold their own."

"Looking at it now... only you and I can be considered top-tier experts."

Lin Feng had a forehead full of black lines upon hearing this.

Come on, man... You, calling yourself a top-tier expert? Where does that confidence even come from?

Seeing him looking so pleased with himself, Lin Feng was speechless.

"Minister, based on what you're saying, is this ranking a team competition? Not individual?"

"Yes... and no." Zhou Zhengguo looked at him solemnly and explained, "The final ranking for this Universal Prodigy Tournament is determined mainly by the total team score of each region."

"Take our Blue Star Region for example."

"Each region has a fixed quota of fifty players participating in the Prodigy Tournament."

"To qualify, one must meet the threshold. Only players whose combined combat power and level rank in the top fifty of the entire region are eligible to represent the region on the field."

"The final ranking is determined by the total score combined from the individual points earned plus the points of the fifty participating players from the region."

"So that's how it is." Lin Feng realized after hearing this.

Now he finally understood Zhou Zhengguo's concerns.

This tournament values individual combat power, but it tests the overall standard of the entire team even more.

Relying solely on one person's immense strength isn't enough to carry the entire region's score on one's own.

The weaknesses of the other participating members will become hidden dangers that pull down the ranking.

"The situation is this dire. Now you should understand why I insisted on you bringing up a group of top-tier experts."

Zhou Zhengguo sighed and said, "With the current overall strength of the Blue Star Region, I'm afraid we won't even make it into the top 100,000 in this Universal Prodigy Tournament."

When these words were spoken, both of them were dumbfounded on the spot!

Ye Weiyang looked at Zhou Zhengguo in complete disbelief.

"What? Can't make it into the top 100,000? Do you even hear what nonsense you're saying?"

In his view, Lin Feng's strength was in a league of its own, unrivaled in the Blue Star Region, and he himself was close behind. With two top experts sitting in the Blue Star Region, there was no way they would fall outside the top 100,000.

Ye Weiyang said unconvinced, "Minister, are you looking down on me... or are you looking down on... Brother Feng?"

"You probably don't know how awesome I am now. With my current strength, taking on ten people at once is absolutely no problem."

Zhou Zhengguo acted as if he didn't see him at all. He turned to Lin Feng and said, "Xiao Feng, you should also be aware that the universe is vast and boundless, and the number of players is countless. 100,000 looks like a very low ranking, but it represents trillions of participating players."

"To be honest, making it into the top 100,000 is already the goal I'm hoping for most."

Lin Feng frowned and said helplessly, "Hearing you say that, I feel a lot of pressure."

At this moment, Zhou Zhengguo took a wrapped document out of his briefcase and handed it to him.

"What is this?" Lin Feng asked.

"This is data that was just compiled this afternoon. This intelligence was not easy to obtain; the War God Palace spent a great deal of financial and material resources, and negotiated with many parties to collect it."

Zhou Zhengguo explained with a serious expression, "The document contains the overall ranking of the top 1,000 in the combat power list for our galaxy and several neighboring galaxies."

"Oh?" Lin Feng perked up instantly upon hearing this.

This is incredible! This is core intelligence! It's the most top-secret of secrets.

With this list, one could clearly figure out the true foundation and level of top experts in the surrounding major regions, as well as the comprehensive strength of each region. It was equivalent to grasping the initiative in the war beforehand.

Lin Feng opened the document from the middle. After just a few glances, he couldn't help but exclaim inwardly.

Good heavens, it really is recorded in extreme detail.

It records so-and-so, their ranking on the list, star domain name, talents, level, combat power, skills, profession, and even each person's habitual combat style and past battle records are all listed.

"Brother Feng, help me see what rank I'm in."

Lin Feng didn't even look at him, continued flipping the pages, and said indifferently, "You're not on it..."

"What?" Ye Weiyang was stunned. "Not on it? How is that possible! I'm at least the second-ranked expert on the Blue Star Region's combat power list. How could I not even squeeze into the top 1,000?"

Lin Feng had black lines on his face. He realized that ever since this kid put on the holy war set, he felt too good about himself. To put it bluntly, he was getting too big for his boots.

A combat power value of just over 2,000 and he wants to make it into the galaxy's top 1,000 list? You must be dreaming.

Whether I can even make the list is still an unknown...

...Because he opened it from the middle, he only saw up to around 500th place, and the combat power of the players above was already reaching over 4,000.

This meant that with his 3,525 combat power, his ranking would definitely be pushed back quite a bit further.

He continued to flip backwards through the rankings. 4,000, 3,800, 3,600... the combat power values slowly decreased.

Before long, a data entry belonging to him caught his eye.

[Combat Power List - 988th Place] Player: God Slayer. Star Domain: Blue Star Region. Level: 21. Combat Power: 3,525. Profession: Assassin. Skills: Stealth, Poisoning, suspected group paralysis skill. Talent: Unknown. Historical Battle Record: In the Black Wind Ancient Tomb map, repelled a 100-man team of the Baqi Family single-handedly. Achievement: Secured the first kill record for Bronze and Silver rank BOSSes in this region, currently first on the Secret Realm list.

... "Holy crap! Even Brother Feng only barely made the list?"

Looking at the information on the document, Ye Weiyang was so shocked he nearly spat blood. He couldn't seem to believe that Lin Feng, whom he regarded as a War God, was ranked so low...

"Quick, check how much combat power the first place has."

Lin Feng didn't dawdle upon hearing this and jumped straight to the top of the list.

On the document, a striking headline caught his eye.

[Galactic Combat Power List - 1st Place] Player: Undying Emperor. Star Domain: Fantian Star. Level: 24. Combat Power: 9,527. Profession: Warrior.
