21: 600 Years of Cloud Tea

The World Tree is currently like an infant; its intelligence has not fully awakened.

Only one piece of information was transmitted into Yongmao's mind:

"Nutrients, I need nutrients..."

Yongmao sighed softly, then said:

"I know you need nutrients, but where can I find the nutrients you need?"

However, the consciousness transmitted by the World Tree was vague, so it was impossible to know exactly what it needed.

The World Tree's grade is Divine-Grade, so the nutrients it needs would naturally not be ordinary things; the Low Grade Spirit Spring Water earlier was just a lucky coincidence.

Yongmao was certain that watering it with Spirit Spring Water a second time would also be futile, as it was not a particularly rare item after all.

The ones that could communicate directly with Yongmao were the Sword Soul Grass and the blood-stopping vine.

The blood-stopping vine was the first spiritual plant Yongmao planted, originally having over ten years of medicinal age, and with the influence of the World Tree's Law of Time and Yongmao's careful nurturing, it now had a hundred years of age.

"Master, can you please stop plucking my leaves? It affects my growth."

The blood-stopping vine communicated directly with Yongmao through consciousness.

Yongmao also responded to it with his Divine Sense:

"Less nonsense! I've provided you with so much Spirit Soil, do you think I'm playing around? Only by exchanging your leaves for Spirit Stones can I acquire more resources for your growth."

Yongmao directly manipulated the blood-stopping vine.

The blood-stopping vine looked wronged, feeling that what its master said made a lot of sense, but also found it a little strange.

Yongmao chuckled softly.

This blood-stopping vine was truly a treasure; the leaves of the Hundred-Year Hemostatic Vine were very valuable. Yongmao would collect about two to three leaves every day and then regularly hand them over to Lin Yucheng to sell at the Spirit Treasure Pavilion.

It was like chives, ready to be harvested in batches.

The sword soul grass had also developed consciousness, initially gaining the ability to converse with Yongmao.

"Master, I only have one leaf, please don't pull out my leaf."

The sword soul grass and the Hundred-Year Hemostatic Vine were planted not far apart, and it often saw the "miserable state" of the blood-stopping vine, so it was very worried about being treated the same way.

Yongmao was amused by these two lively treasures.

"Don't worry, you only have one leaf right now, how could I possibly take your leaf?"

The sword soul grass is an offensive spiritual plant; its power depends on the number of its leaves.

It can grow into a Nine-Leaf sword soul grass, with sword leaves comparable to Immortal Artifacts.

Yongmao would never do something so short-sighted.

The small sword soul grass gently swayed its only sword leaf in the breeze, as if patting its chest.

"That's good, that's good..."

Immediately, Yongmao performed the Spirit Wood Art on both the Hundred-Year Hemostatic Vine and the sword soul grass.

Of course, he didn't forget to pick four more leaves from the Hundred-Year Hemostatic Vine.

After taking care of these spiritual plants, Yongmao temporarily left Thousand-Pinnacle Cliff.

Back home, only his father, Lin Yucheng, was Cultivating.

Yongmao handed most of the Spirit Rice, along with some Hundred-Year Hemostatic Vine leaves, to Lin Yucheng, then inquired about his mother, Han Yuying's whereabouts.

"Your mother is in the Family's Spirit Plant Garden; you can go find her."

Yongmao readily agreed.

He had been to the Family's Spirit Plant Garden before, but at that time he was not a Spiritual Plant Master, nor did he have the System.

Going again now, he might have different gains.

The Lin Family's Spirit Plant Garden is one of the most important parts of the Lin Family, because it is the Lin Family's most important industry.

And the main person in charge of this Spirit Plant Garden happened to be Yongmao's mother, Han Yuying.

For no other reason than Han Yuying being the Lin Family's only Second-Order Spiritual Planter.

Han Yuying was also a disciple of the Han Family, a Cultivator Family from the Qingyang Mountain Range, who married into the Lin Family through an arranged marriage.

Major Cultivator Families often form alliances through marriage to strengthen their connections.

Only by forming a community of interests can the Family's status become more stable.

Cultivator Families are actually more fragile than large families in the secular world, and may fall into decline due to the demise of a powerful Cultivator in the Family.

With the support of allied families, it is possible to alleviate the crisis that could occur at any time.

Since marrying into the Lin Family, Han Yuying had diligently studied the Lin Family's Spiritual Plant Master Legacy.

Who would have thought that no one in the current generation of the Lin Family would master the ancestral Second-Order Spiritual Planter Legacy, and it was actually learned by an outsider.

Han Yuying was therefore responsible for managing the Lin Family's Spirit Plant Garden, holding an extremely high position in the Lin Family.

The Spirit Plant Garden was protected by a Formation, so Yongmao did not rashly enter, but first sent a message to Han Yuying, who was inside the Formation.

Soon, Han Yuying opened the Formation and let Yongmao in.

Yongmao had been here a few times before, but those were memories from his previous body, already very vague.

He only remembered Han Yuying not letting him touch anything, not letting him feel anything, as most of the spiritual plants were very fragile and could only be cultivated by specialized Spiritual Plant Masters.

"Mother..."

"You follow me first, don't go anywhere, and don't touch any Spirit Medicine here. I still have some things to finish, please wait a moment..."

Han Yuying still treated Yongmao as a child, almost forgetting that Yongmao was already a First-Order Spiritual Planter.

Following Han Yuying, Yongmao arrived at the deepest part of the Spirit Plant Garden.

The Family's Spirit Plant Garden covers a very large area, approximately one thousand acres of Spirit Fields.

Various kinds of spiritual plants are planted in the Spirit Fields, with a rich variety, though most are common First-Order spiritual plants in the Cultivation world.

This is normal; although the Lin Family is a well-known Cultivator Family near the Qingyang Mountain Range, it is not a major force.

And these spiritual plants are the Foundation upon which the Lin Family relies for survival.

The Spirit Plant Garden is not only home to Han Yuying; most of the First-Order Spiritual Planters in the Family choose to stay here, as this is the best place to improve their Spiritual Plant Master proficiency.

While traversing the Spirit Fields earlier, Yongmao caught sight of his aunt, Lin Yulian.

His aunt greeted Yongmao warmly, and Yongmao responded with equal enthusiasm.

In his original body's memories, his parents were very busy when he was young, and he spent a lot of time with his aunt, who was like a half-mother to him.

Lin Yulian also followed Han Yuying to the deepest part of the Spirit Plant Garden.

This was a small hill, and a Formation had been specially set up on it. This was also a First-Order Formation with the effect of gathering Spiritual Qi.

A massive tea tree grew on the small hill, with old and new leaves, and surrounded by swirling clouds and mist, and abundant Spiritual Qi.

Han Yuying introduced, "This is our Lin Family's most precious spiritual plant—the Cloud Mist Tea. Currently, this Cloud Mist Tea Tree is already six hundred years old."

Upon approaching this tea tree, one could feel the Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi in the surroundings becoming even denser; the Cloud Mist Tea Tree absorbed Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi while also giving back.

"This is the Foundation of our Lin Family; most of the Family's Cultivation resources are obtained by exchanging the tea leaves from this tea tree."
