508: Buddha, why don't you dare to fight him?

Fear you? Not a chance!

The Six-Eared Macaque barked, pushing his movement technique to the limit. The iron rod in his hand danced like a black Dragon, attempting to fight speed with speed and attack with attack!

Clang, clang, clang, clang!!!

The dense sound of impacts, like rain hitting banana leaves, blended together, leaving almost no pause!

The two figures were so fast they were reduced to two blurred balls of golden and black light, frantically entangling and colliding in the air!

Every clash erupted with blinding energy sparks, the resulting shockwaves tearing the demonic clouds around Mount Lingshan to shreds, causing the rocks below to crumble continuously!

Inside the Mahavira Hall, Lu Jiuyuan leisurely cracked melon seeds and said to No Heaven:

"This monkey of yours inherited his stubborn mouth, but his skills... don't seem to have improved much. His fighting style is still imitating my monkey's."

No Heaven watched the two fighting in the light screen and said calmly: "The Six-Eared Macaque has a unique talent; he is good at listening to sounds, discerning principles, knowing the past and future, and understanding all things."

"Imitation is his instinct, but also his shackle."

"What he lacks is the Monkey King's original heart and Battle Intent of 'breaking through everything, I am the only one supreme'."

"That is why he will always be the Six-Eared Macaque, and never the Monkey King."

At the entrance of the hall, Black Robe squatted there, neck shrunken, trying hard to lower his presence, praying in his heart that this fight would end quickly, and that Your Majesty wouldn't direct his anger at him.

He couldn't withstand his flames!

The battle in the air was indeed as No Heaven had said.

The Six-Eared Macaque was completely no match for the Monkey King. If the Monkey King hadn't held back, he would have died five times by now!

Five-five split, five minutes, Monkey King killed him five times!

"Let's end this! Six-Eared Macaque!"

The golden-hooped rod moved from bottom to top, a fierce and peerless "Upward Strike"!

"Bang!!!"

It struck the Six-Eared Macaque square on the chin!

"Ugh, ah!" The Six-Eared Macaque screamed, his chin deformed by the blow, his whole body thrown upward like a kite with a broken string, blood and a few broken teeth spraying from his mouth in an arc.

The Monkey King did not let up. He somersaulted above the Six-Eared Macaque, held the rod with both hands, and from a high vantage point, poured his magic power and anger into this strike,

The golden-hooped rod expanded a hundredfold in an instant, turning into a heaven-piercing divine pillar, wreathed in wind, thunder, and fire, smashing down fiercely toward the still-tumbling Six-Eared Macaque!

"This blow will teach you to remember: what it means to be the Great Sage Equal to Heaven!"

"Monkey King, stop!"

Inside the hall, Lu Jiuyuan suddenly spoke. His voice was not loud, but it clearly pierced through the earth-shattering roar and reached the Monkey King's ears.

The Monkey King's descending golden-hooped rod stopped abruptly, just three feet from the Six-Eared Macaque's head!

The violent energy caused the Six-Eared Macaque's golden fur to dance wildly, stinging his face; the shadow of death was clearly palpable.

The Six-Eared Macaque lay in mid-air, looking up at the giant rod that seemed capable of crushing stars, his eyes filled with undisguised fear and confusion.

Defeated... defeated again, and so thoroughly, so miserably.

The Monkey King's chest heaved, golden light flickering in his eyes; his anger had clearly not yet dissipated.

But he listened to Lu Jiuyuan's words. The golden-hooped rod slowly shrank and was retracted into his hand.

Lu Jiuyuan's voice sounded again, this time addressing the Six-Eared Macaque: "Six-Eared Macaque, do you yield?"

The Six-Eared Macaque turned his neck with difficulty, looking toward the Mahavira Hall. His chin was slowly repairing itself. Coughing up bloody foam, he slurred:

"Yield... I yield. Great Sage... your Divine Ability is peerless, Six-Eared Macaque... is inferior."

"It is not that you are inferior," Lu Jiuyuan corrected,

"it is that your Dao has gone astray. Being good at imitation is your talent, but it should not become your everything."

"Always wanting to become the Monkey King will ultimately lead to mediocrity."

"Six-Eared Macaque, why can't you make a name for yourself?"

"No Heaven keeps you by his side because he values the potential of your talent, not to have you repeat the same mistakes."

The Six-Eared Macaque froze, a complex look flashing in his eyes.

Lu Jiuyuan said to the Monkey King: "Monkey King, has your anger subsided a bit? Old grievances have been settled. Since he has admitted defeat, spare him this time."

"No Heaven's subordinates are all trash; there are only two or three who are actually useful!"

The Monkey King snorted, put away his armor, returned to his casual clothes, scratched his head, and said: "Since the old man has spoken, Old Sun will naturally listen."

"But this guy has a foul mouth; he doesn't have much skill but has a big attitude. He deserved a good beating to learn his lesson!"

"The lesson has been learned."

Lu Jiuyuan laughed, his gaze sweeping intentionally or unintentionally over Black Robe at the hall entrance, who wished he could shrink into a crack in the ground: "However, some people watch the show too intently and forget their place. They should also learn a lesson."

Before the words fell, Lu Jiuyuan flicked a melon seed shell he had just finished eating.

The shell turned into a tiny, imperceptible purple-gold light, instantly crossed the hall, and "papped" onto the back of the neck of Black Robe, who was sticking his butt out and trying to sneak away.

Black Robe stiffened, feeling an irresistible power of Law instantly imprisoning his whole body. Not only were his magic power and Primordial Spirit sealed,

but his body remained in that ridiculous, half-squatting, sneaking posture, completely unable to move. Only his eyes could roll around in terror, and his mouth could still open.

"Since you like squatting at the door so much," Lu Jiuyuan dusted the melon seed crumbs off his hands, his tone relaxed,

"then just squat there properly. Squat for three years as a warning to others. No Heaven, you have no objections, right?"

No Heaven glanced at Black Robe, who had turned into a "squatting statue", the corner of his mouth twitched slightly, and he nodded: "Your Majesty's handling is appropriate. Black Robe has no restraint in his speech and has no respect for his superiors; he deserves the punishment."

Three years... given Black Robe's cultivation, it wouldn't cause lasting damage, but this face... was completely lost.

The Monkey King and little Nezha looked at Black Robe's ridiculous and miserable frozen pose and immediately laughed, their previous anger dissipating for the most part.

"Alright, the excitement is over, the fight is done, time to go." Lu Jiuyuan stood up and nodded to No Heaven,

"Buddha No Heaven, this matter is finished. There are only eight days left of the agreement of the Thirty-Three Heavens. I hope you make good use of them. I am looking forward to you bringing some... real variables."

No Heaven was solemn: "I will remember Your Majesty's words."

A purple-gold halo enveloped them. Lu Jiuyuan, with the still-snickering Monkey King and little Nezha, slowly faded away.

On Lingshan, only No Heaven, sitting on the black lotus, the miserably panting Six-Eared Macaque, and the squatting Black Robe statue at the entrance—who would become a "famous landmark" of Lingshan for the next three years—remained.

The Six-Eared Macaque struggled to climb up, looking at the direction where Lu Jiuyuan and the others had disappeared, then at Black Robe at the entrance, and finally at No Heaven on the lotus seat, his mood complex and indescribable.

"Buddha No Heaven, that person made me squat here for three years. Is it his intention to help you deal with Buddha Tathagata?" Black Robe's body couldn't move, but his mouth still didn't stop.

"After all, we only have 8 days left, yet he made your subordinate squat here for three years."

"It could also be that after Tathagata returns, he lets you squat here for three years."

"All the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats will watch you make a fool of yourself." No Heaven said flatly:

"The disaster caused by your mouth can only be borne by yourself."

A phantom of a black lotus appeared in No Heaven's palm, which flew out and enveloped the Six-Eared Macaque.

It quickly repaired the injuries on his body.

"In the future, don't hide in that black robe. Be my Black Lotus Holy Emissary openly and honestly!"

"In the Three Realms, why not spread your fame!"

"Thank you, Buddha!" The Six-Eared Macaque bowed in thanks!

"Buddha No Heaven, as the saying goes, one mountain cannot hold two tigers, unless one is male and one is female."

"Even if you defeat Buddha Tathagata, there is still a Jade Emperor in this world."

"It will be hard to be carefree in the future. This rebellion of ours is... stifling." Black Robe continued.

"Oh? What do you mean by that?" No Heaven asked him.

"Everyone knows that I, Black Robe, am your black lotus Protector, but he fixed me right here at the entrance of the Mahavira Hall."

"And in such a lewd posture."

"Is he fixing me, Black Robe? This is clearly slapping you, Buddha, in the face." Black Robe felt aggrieved. You were the one who told me to act, and as a result, I offended His Majesty; there's a reason for that!

Now I've been taught a lesson, and you, the boss, don't dare to say a word; this is simply unreasonable! Why didn't you have a fight with him!

"Even if you lost, I, Black Robe, wouldn't blame you!"
