115: Chapter 115 I have a bad temper.

An hour later, Song Tianhao's Mercedes-Benz slowly pulled up in front of the Sky Entertainment building.

Before the car door could even open, camera flashes hammered against the windows like a rainstorm, the pattering sound audible even through the glass. Through the dark window tint, one could see a dense crowd outside—at least thirty reporters, their cameras and lenses aimed at the car door, each of their expressions like sharks that had caught the scent of blood.

Jang Se-hoon, sitting in the passenger seat, turned his head, his expression grim: "President, the back door is blocked too, and there are reporters at the underground garage entrance. CJ Group is playing for real; they've invited entertainment reporters from all the mainstream media outlets."

Song Tianhao sat in the middle of the back seat, with Min Sunye on his left and Ahn Sohee on his right. Min Sunye was wearing a simple white T-shirt and jeans, with Song Tianhao's black suit jacket draped over her; her own clothes had been changed at the hospital yesterday, so she had no choice but to wear this today.

She kept her head down, her hands tightly clenched together, her knuckles trembling slightly.

Ahn Sohee sat on the far right, leaning against the window, her face turned away. She hadn't said a word since getting into the car. Her eyes were still red, but she had stopped crying; she just stared expressionlessly at the reporters outside, her lips pressed into a straight line.

"President," Jang Se-hoon lowered his voice, "Should we enter through the back door? I'll have security..."

"No need." Song Tianhao interrupted him, his tone calm. "Open the door."

"But..."

"Open the door." Song Tianhao repeated, his voice not loud, but carrying an unquestionable force.

Jang Se-hoon opened his mouth, but ultimately said nothing, turning to nod at the driver. The driver pressed the door button, and the sliding door slowly opened.

The camera flashes outside went instantly wild.

"They're out! They're out!"

"Song Tianhao! What is your relationship with Min Sunye?"

"Ahn Sohee, you appeared downstairs at his apartment this morning—were you there to catch him cheating?"

"There are rumors that Min Sunye spent the night at your place; is that true?"

"Is Wonder Girls facing a crisis of disbandment?!"

Questions bombarded them like cannonballs. The reporters pushed forward, and the defensive line formed by security began to crumble. A few reporters had their microphones almost poking into the car.

Song Tianhao got out of the car first.

He was wearing a dark gray custom suit today, a white shirt without a tie, the top button undone, making him look both casual and sharp. After getting out, he turned around and reached into the car.

Min Sunye looked at the hand, hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath and placed her hand in his.

Song Tianhao gripped her hand tightly and pulled her gently out of the car. The flashes instantly went ten times more intense, the sound of shutters merging into a single roar, the blinding white light making it almost impossible to keep one's eyes open.

Min Sunye subconsciously closed her eyes and leaned closer to Song Tianhao. He turned sideways, shielding her with half his body, and raised his other hand to signal to the side.

Ahn Sohee got out from the other side. She didn't look at Song Tianhao, nor at the reporters; she just kept her head down, following behind the two of them like a soulless doll.

"President Song! Please answer us!"

"Min Sunye, did you really spend the night at the President's house?"

"Ahn Sohee, did you go to find Min Sunye this morning?"

The reporters were still pushing forward, causing several security guards to stumble. One reporter broke through the line, thrusting a microphone directly in front of Song Tianhao, almost poking him in the chin.

Song Tianhao didn't even look at the reporter; he simply reached out and grabbed the microphone.

The movement was fast and forceful. The reporter was stunned, and before he could react, the microphone was already in Song Tianhao's hand.

The whole scene went silent for half a second.

Holding the black microphone, Song Tianhao scanned the surrounding reporters. His gaze was calm, but that calmness carried a heavy pressure, causing the originally noisy scene to gradually quiet down.

"Three statements," he began, his voice transmitting through the microphone, clear, calm, and carrying an unquestionable force. "I will only say this once, and when I'm done, it's over. If you have questions, you can ask my public relations department. If you block our way again, I will have security clear the area."

No one dared to speak. All the reporters watched him, camera lenses aimed at him, voice recorders held high.

Song Tianhao was still holding Min Sunye's hand with his left hand, gripping it tightly. Min Sunye stood by his side, head down, but her back was straight.

"First," Song Tianhao began, "after recording at the MBC Music Center, Min Sunye fainted backstage due to extreme fatigue and hypoglycemia and was rushed to Samsung Medical Center. As the President, I accompanied her for treatment. The doctor diagnosed that she needed to stay for observation. This is the medical certificate and discharge summary issued by the hospital."

He took two sheets of paper from his inner suit pocket, waved them in front of the cameras, and then handed them to Jang Se-hoon behind him. Jang Se-hoon took them and unfolded them for the reporters to photograph.

"Second," Song Tianhao continued, his gaze shifting to Ahn Sohee, "that photo from this morning was because Ahn Sohee was worried and anxious about Min Sunye's health, and in an emotional state, she came directly to me to ask about the situation.

She is the youngest member of Wonder Girls, and Min Sunye has been taking care of her since her trainee days; the two are like sisters. A younger sister worrying about an older sister—is there a problem with that?"

Ahn Sohee looked up at Song Tianhao. Her lips moved, but no sound came out.

"Third," Song Tianhao's gaze shifted back to look at Min Sunye. Min Sunye also looked up at him, her eyes glistening, but no tears fell.

Song Tianhao gripped her hand tighter.

"Sunye and I," he said, his voice steady and clear, "are President and artist, are senior and junior, and also..."

He paused, his gaze sweeping over all the reporters present, before landing back on Min Sunye's face.

"Friends who are getting to know each other."

As his voice fell, the scene went deathly silent.

Then, an uproar.

The reporters exploded.

"Friends?! What kind of friends spend the night at each other's houses?!"

"Is President Song admitting that you are dating?!"

"Min Sunye, when did you and the President start seeing each other?!"

"Ahn Sohee, what is your take on this?!"

Questions surged in like a tide again, but this time, Song Tianhao didn't give them a chance. He simply raised his hand and pressed it downward.

"I said, if you have questions, ask my public relations department." His voice turned cold. "Now, make way. My artist needs to rest."

But the reporters wouldn't budge. Not only did they not move, but a male reporter in a blue shirt and gold-rimmed glasses squeezed to the very front, his microphone almost poking Song Tianhao in the face.

"President Song!" The reporter's voice was loud, with a deliberate, high-pitched tone. "I am a reporter from Seoul Entertainment Weekly. According to our information, what Min Sunye was injected with at the hospital last night was not a regular nutrient solution, but a drug containing sedative ingredients.

Does this imply that Min Sunye has mental health issues? Was Wonder Girls' comeback delayed due to her personal reasons?

Furthermore, does your so-called 'friendship' with Min Sunye involve unspoken rules and resource exchange? After all, before you acquired Wonder Girls, they were on the verge of disbandment, and after the acquisition, they immediately received a large amount of resources, which makes it hard not to associate this with..."

He didn't finish his sentence.

Because Song Tianhao reached out, took a small transparent medicine bottle from Jang Se-hoon's hand, and held it directly in front of the reporter.

The bottle wasn't large, and there were still a few white pills inside. The label on the bottle was entirely in English.

The whole scene went quiet again. All lenses were aimed at the medicine bottle.

"Do you recognize this?" Song Tianhao asked, his voice very soft, but every word sounding like shards of ice.

The reporter was stunned, pushed up his glasses, leaned in to look, and his expression changed slightly.

"This is..."

"Phenobarbital," Song Tianhao answered for him, his voice still very soft, but transmitting through the microphone so everyone could hear clearly. "A type of sedative-hypnotic drug, which is a prescription drug in South Korea; abuse can lead to addiction, mental confusion, and even death."

He pushed the medicine bottle forward again, almost touching the reporter's face.

"And this bottle was regularly prescribed to her by the medical department under CJ Group, under the guise of 'relieving stress and improving sleep.' From 2008 until now, two years, one bottle every week. Do you need me to make all the prescription records and purchase receipts public?

Or perhaps you need me to contact the Food and Drug Administration to have this batch of drugs tested to see if there is anything else in there besides phenobarbital that shouldn't be?"

The reporter's face turned completely white. He took half a step back, his lips trembling, wanting to say something but unable to make a sound.

The surrounding reporters all went quiet, with only the sound of shutters still ringing out frantically. Everyone's lenses were aimed at the small medicine bottle, and then at the reporter's face.

Song Tianhao took back the medicine bottle, put it back in his pocket, and then looked at the reporter, his gaze like a knife.

"You just said you are a reporter from Seoul Entertainment Weekly?" he asked.

"Y-yes..."

"Your editor-in-chief, Kim Jae-hwan, received 30 million won from CJ Entertainment last month, promising to publish at least ten negative reports targeting Sky Entertainment and its artists within the next three months. Do you need me to make the transfer records and chat screenshots public?"

The reporter was completely speechless. His face was deathly pale, sweat began to bead on his forehead, and the microphone in his hand was shaking.

Song Tianhao didn't look at him again, instead turning to the other reporters.

"I know many of you came here today because you took CJ's money, were ordered to create news, to smear my artists, and to suppress my company." His voice wasn't loud, but every word hit the ground like a hammer. "I don't blame you; taking money to do a job is natural. But I also ask you to remember!"

He paused, his gaze sweeping over every single person.

"I'm not a person with a good temper, but my memory is exceptionally good, and I especially dislike it when others mess with my people. Today's matter ends here. Whoever dares to continue writing, continue broadcasting, or continue spreading nonsense, I will let them know who exactly is in charge in Seoul."

After finishing, he pulled Min Sunye's hand, signaled to Ahn Sohee with his other hand, and then strode directly toward the building entrance.

The reporters subconsciously made way, opening a path.

No one dared to stop them.

Security quickly stepped forward, guarding both sides of the three and separating them from the reporters. Song Tianhao held Min Sunye's hand, Min Sunye kept her head down, and Ahn Sohee followed behind. In this way, under the gaze of dozens of reporters, dozens of cameras, and dozens of microphones, the three of them walked into the Sky Entertainment building.

The glass doors closed behind them, shutting out all the noise from outside.

The lobby was very quiet, and the two girls at the front desk stood up and bowed respectfully: "Hello, President."

Song Tianhao nodded without speaking, leading Min Sunye straight to the elevator. Jang Se-hoon followed behind, saying in a low voice to the front desk: "Notify the public relations department; a meeting in the conference room in three minutes."

"Yes."

The elevator doors closed, and only the three of them remained in the cramped space.

Min Sunye's hand was still in Song Tianhao's. She could feel that his hand was very hot, his palm slightly damp—she didn't know if it was sweat or something else. She looked up at his profile.

Song Tianhao's jawline was tense, his lips pressed together, his eyes fixed on the jumping numbers on the elevator, expressionless, yet radiating an aura of low pressure.

Ahn Sohee stood in the other corner of the elevator, far away from them. She leaned against the wall, head down, staring at the tips of her shoes, not moving a muscle.

The elevator reached the top floor, and the doors opened.

Song Tianhao led Min Sunye out of the elevator and walked toward his office.

Jang Se-hoon wanted to follow, but Song Tianhao waved his hand: "Go deal with the PR matters first. Within thirty minutes, I want to see the press release. You decide the content, but there is only one principle: splash all the dirty water back onto CJ, especially the matter about the medicine—write about that as the key point."

"Understood." Jang Se-hoon nodded, turned, and walked away quickly.

Song Tianhao pushed open his office door, led Min Sunye inside, and then turned to look at Ahn Sohee, who was still standing at the door.

"Come in," he said.

Ahn Sohee looked up, glanced at him, then at Min Sunye, and then slowly walked in, closing the door behind her.

The office was large, with a simple, modern style, and a full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows offered a view of half of Seoul. But no one was in the mood to look at the scenery now.

Song Tianhao released Min Sunye's hand, walked behind his desk, sat down, and then looked at Ahn Sohee.

"Sit," he said.

Ahn Sohee did not sit. She just stood there, looking at him, then at Min Sunye, her lips moving as if she wanted to say something, but nothing came out.

Min Sunye walked to the sofa and sat down, her hands placed on her knees, sitting very upright, but her shoulders were trembling slightly.

Song Tianhao took a pack of cigarettes from the drawer, pulled one out, lit it, took a drag, and then slowly exhaled. The smoke diffused into the air, making his face look somewhat blurred.

"Now," he began, his voice calm, "speak."

Ahn Sohee bit her lip.

"Say what?" she asked, her voice a bit hoarse.

"Explain why you went to my house this morning," Song Tianhao flicked the ash. "Explain why you were recording. Explain what it is you're actually trying to do."

Ahn Sohee's face turned pale again. She lowered her head, her fingers clutching the hem of her clothes tightly.

"I..." she began, her voice trembling, "I was just worried about Unni..."

"Worried enough to record?" Song Tianhao interrupted her, his voice turning cold. "Worried enough to keep evidence for a rainy day? Worried enough to stand on the side of the reporters, waiting to catch me in a scandal?"

"I didn't!" Ahn Sohee suddenly raised her head, her eyes red again. "I just... I was just afraid Unni would be deceived! Afraid she would get hurt! Afraid she would..."

"Afraid of what?" Song Tianhao looked at her. "Afraid she's with me? Afraid she likes me? Or afraid she isn't as innocent and fragile as you think, needing you to protect her constantly?"

Ahn Sohee couldn't speak. Her lips were trembling, and tears welled up in her eyes, but she held them back, refusing to let them fall.

"Sohee," Min Sunye spoke, her voice very soft, "don't say anymore."

"Unni!" Ahn Sohee looked at her, tears finally falling. "Don't you understand yet? He doesn't care about you at all! All he cares about is his company, his interests! Today he can hold your hand in front of reporters, but tomorrow he could push you away for other interests! I've seen plenty of people like this! They throw you away when they get bored, and keep you when you're useful. You're just another toy to him!"

"Ahn Sohee." Song Tianhao's voice rang out, very calm, but with a chill in that calmness.

Ahn Sohee turned her head to look at him.

Song Tianhao stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray, then stood up, walked around the desk, and approached her. He was much taller than her, looking down at her, his gaze icy.

"First," he began, enunciating every word, "I, Song Tianhao, do not need to use deception, nor do I need to use 'casting couch' tactics to get any woman I want. If I want to, there are plenty of women who would throw themselves at me."

Ahn Sohee's face turned pale.

"Second," Song Tianhao continued, "I acquired Wonder Girls because I think you are worth it, not because I have my eye on anyone in your group. Even without Min Sunye, without you, without anyone in Wonder Girls, I would still have acquired it because I see the potential in this brand and the value of this team. Don't think too highly of yourself."

Ahn Sohee's body began to tremble.

"Third," Song Tianhao looked at her, his eyes like ice, "you said all I care about is the company and interests. Then let me ask you, if I only cared about interests, why would I hold Min Sunye's hand in front of reporters? Why would I admit we are 'getting to know each other'? Why would I expose the drugging incident by CJ Group? Do you know how many people that will offend? Do you know how CJ will retaliate against me next?"

He stepped forward, closing in on Ahn Sohee.

"I'll tell you, it's because I care about her." His voice was very low, but every word felt like it was hammering into the ground. "I care enough to be willing to go to war with the entire CJ Group for her. I care enough to be willing to dig up all that dirty, rotten business for her. I care enough to be willing to stand in front of everyone for her and say, 'She is my friend'."

"And you," he paused, looking at Ahn Sohee's pale face, "you keep saying you're worried about her, that you're protecting her, but what's the result? What have you done? You ran to my house and questioned her without rhyme or reason. You secretly recorded her, trying to find dirt on her. You made a scene in front of reporters, making everyone think there was something sordid between us. Ahn Sohee, is this how you protect her?"

Ahn Sohee's tears fell in large drops. She shook her head, wanting to say something, but couldn't make a sound.

"Sohee..." Min Sunye stood up, wanting to walk over.

"Don't come over here!" Ahn Sohee suddenly shouted. Then, before Min Sunye or Song Tianhao could react, she dropped to her knees with a thud, kneeling in front of Min Sunye.

Min Sunye was stunned.

Song Tianhao was also stunned.

Ahn Sohee knelt on the floor, head bowed, her shoulders trembling violently, tears hitting the floor one by one.

"Unni, I'm sorry..." Her voice was broken, choked with sobs, almost unable to continue. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have doubted you. I shouldn't have recorded you, shouldn't have said those things... I'm sorry, I'm really sorry..."

Min Sunye's eyes also turned red. She crouched down, trying to help Ahn Sohee up, but Ahn Sohee refused, just kneeling there, crying like a child.

"Unni, I was just... I was just too scared..." Ahn Sohee said through tears. "I was afraid you'd get hurt, afraid you'd be deceived, afraid you'd be like before, bullied and not daring to say anything. I was afraid you'd be locked in that small room again, afraid you'd be given injections again, afraid you'd be hiding in the bathroom crying by yourself again..."

The more she spoke, the sadder she became, crying until she was out of breath.

Min Sunye cried too. She knelt down and hugged Ahn Sohee, the two girls embracing, crying together.

Song Tianhao stood to the side, watching them, saying nothing.

A long time passed before Ahn Sohee's crying slowly subsided. She raised her head, her eyes swollen like peaches, looking at Min Sunye, then at Song Tianhao, and then she turned to Song Tianhao and bowed her head deeply to him.

"President, I'm sorry..." Her voice was still hoarse but much clearer. "I shouldn't have doubted you, shouldn't have said those things... You saved Unni, you saved our whole group, I shouldn't have..."

"Get up." Song Tianhao interrupted her.

Ahn Sohee raised her head and looked at him.

"I said, get up." Song Tianhao repeated, his tone softening a little. "The floor is cold."

Ahn Sohee bit her lip and slowly stood up. Min Sunye also stood up, the two girls supporting each other, their eyes red, tear stains still on their faces.

Song Tianhao walked behind his desk, sat down again, took a box of tissues from the drawer, and tossed it to them.

"Wipe your faces," he said, then looked at Ahn Sohee. "You just said that before, Min Sunye was locked in a small room, given injections, and hid in the bathroom crying. What is that about?"

Ahn Sohee and Min Sunye were both taken aback.

Ahn Sohee looked at Min Sunye, but Min Sunye kept her head down, not looking at her.

"Unni won't let me tell you..." Ahn Sohee whispered.

"I am telling you to tell me now." Song Tianhao's voice was calm, but carried an unquestionable force.

Ahn Sohee bit her lip, glanced at Min Sunye again, then took a deep breath and began to speak.

"It was last summer," her voice was very soft, as if afraid of disturbing something. "Our group's performance wasn't good, and the company executives were very angry. They called Unni into the office and berated her for a whole hour.

Then, they locked her in a small room. That room had no windows, only a table and a chair. They made her write a letter of apology inside, and wouldn't let her come out until she finished."

"Unni stayed inside for six hours. I went to bring her water and heard her crying inside. I knocked on the door, but she wouldn't open it, saying she was fine. Later... later she came out, her face as pale as paper, her hands shaking constantly.

I asked her what was wrong, and she wouldn't say. Later I found out they had given her an injection, saying it was a sedative to 'let her calm down'."

Ahn Sohee's tears fell again.

"After that, Unni would often have nightmares, sometimes waking up screaming in the middle of the night in the dorm. I asked her what she dreamed of, and she wouldn't say. Until one time, she was vomiting in the bathroom. I went in to check on her, and she hugged me and cried, saying she dreamed of that small room, dreamed of needles, dreamed of someone choking her..."

She couldn't continue, covering her face, her shoulders shaking.

Min Sunye stood beside her, head bowed, tears falling one by one, but without a sound, just crying silently.

Song Tianhao said nothing. He sat there, his fingers tapping lightly on the desk—once, twice, three times. His expression was calm, but his eyes were cold, as cold as a frozen lake surface.

After a while, he stopped tapping the desk, picked up his phone, and dialed a number.

The call connected quickly.

"It's me," Song Tianhao began, his voice calm. "Two things. First, contact the best psychologist in South Korea and book an appointment for tomorrow afternoon to take Min Sunye for a comprehensive psychological assessment.

Second, investigate everything JPY Entertainment did to Min Sunye last summer, including that small room, the needle, and the people involved. Names, positions, backgrounds—get it all checked out. I want to see the report tomorrow morning."

He paused, then added a sentence.

"Also, arrange regular psychological counseling for all members of Wonder Girls, with the company covering the costs. Starting tomorrow."

After finishing, he hung up the phone and looked at Min Sunye and Ahn Sohee.

"This matter ends here," he said. "From now on, you only need to do three things: sing, dance, and live well. Leave the rest to me."

Min Sunye looked up at him, tears still flowing, but there was light in her eyes.

Ahn Sohee also looked at him, her gaze complex, filled with guilt, gratitude, and a trace of something indescribable.

Song Tianhao stood up, walked to the window, turned his back to them, and looked out at Seoul.

"Sunye," he said, his voice very soft, "that shirt, it's yours."

Min Sunye was stunned for a moment, then blushed, and whispered: "Thank you, President..."

"Sohee," Song Tianhao said again.

Ahn Sohee's body stiffened.

"I will pretend today's incident never happened," Song Tianhao said, without turning around. "But only this once. If I catch you secretly recording again, or pulling tricks behind my back, I will let you know what it means to follow the rules when you're with me."

Ahn Sohee lowered her head: "Yes, President."

"Go out now," Song Tianhao said. "Have Sehun take you to the lounge. Don't go back to the dorm today; reporters might still be lurking. Stay at the company for the night, and wait until the press release is issued tomorrow and the public opinion settles down."

"Yes," the two replied in unison.

Min Sunye glanced at Song Tianhao's back, her lips moving as if she wanted to say something, but in the end, she didn't. She just bowed slightly, then took Ahn Sohee's hand, and turned to walk out of the office.

The door closed gently.

The office became quiet.

Song Tianhao stood by the window, looking at the city outside. The sun was setting, and the whole of Seoul was shrouded in a golden-red afterglow, the glass curtain walls of the high-rise buildings reflecting dazzling light.

He stood there for a long time, then took out his phone. A new message was displayed on the screen.

It was from Jang Se-hoon: "President, the press release has been drafted and sent to the media. There is a reaction from CJ; Chairman Lee Jae-hyun's secretary just called, saying he wants to 'talk' with you."

Song Tianhao smiled and replied with two words.

"No meeting."

Sent.

Then, he threw his phone on the desk and lit another cigarette.

Amidst the curling smoke, his eyes were cold and calm, like the surface of the sea before a storm.

And in Song Tianhao's system interface, a line of small text quietly appeared.
