The moment Wang Shen heard this, her smile brightened as she said, "Yao girl, I’m going to visit my son. Do you want to visit your husband? We can go together."


Just thinking about walking so far already made Yao Zhi feel tired. "Aunt, I’m afraid I will disturb my husband. It’s better for me not to go," she refused without hesitation.


Wang Shen thought she was embarrassed about what happened before and afraid to go. She understood her worries, but since Yao Zhi had married Fu Chen’an, she couldn’t avoid him forever.

With her sitting there, Yao Zhi used an earthen jar as a cover and took out a slab of pork belly from the shop’s warehouse.


The moment Wang Shen saw the pork belly, she was surprised. She glanced at Yao Zhi and sighed.

She cracked the eggs into a bowl and beat them before she poured them into the soup while stirring slowly. After adding some green onions, the egg drop soup was ready.
