At this moment, he was craving something sweet. Fortunately, his wife had packed a lot of soymilk for him. He took several gulps of the soymilk and let out a satisfied sigh.


The sweetness from the honey was not cloying, perfectly fulfilling his craving. Although his wife had reminded him to finish the soymilk as soon as possible, he was feeling reluctant.


Noticing him lost in thought, Wang Tiezhu raised his eyebrows and teased him, "Brother Fu, you just returned home and already miss your wife?"

Even though the steamed bun was no longer warm, it was still soft and chewy. While he ate, Fu Chen’an felt a sharp gaze. Raising his eyes, he saw Wang Tiezhu staring at him while licking his lips.


Seeing this, he hesitated for a moment before he asked, "Brother Wang, do you want one?"


As soon as he asked this, Wang Tiezhu laughed and walked over in large strides. Reaching out, he took a steamed bun while saying, "Brother Fu, I’m indeed a little bit hungry. Thank you!"


After he finished his words, he walked back to his bed and tried the steamed bun. He thought that since it was a white steamed bun, there wouldn’t be any filling inside. Unexpectedly, the steamed bun was filled with delicious filling.

It was no wonder that every time he ate the food and drank the water prepared by his wife, he always felt refreshed. Even the soreness in his muscles was almost gone.


With this thought, he felt more reluctant to finish all the food at once. He wrapped the steamed bun with the oil paper and placed it inside the bamboo basket before he used a piece of fabric to cover it.


Not far from him, Wang Tiezhu watched him with envy clear in his eyes. Suddenly, he recalled when he first married his wife.


She also treated him so well and was a gentle woman. He didn’t know what made her change so much and become like a crazy shrew.
