Standing beside him, Cook Li’s palms were sweating. When he thought that the General disliked the dish, he saw him pick up another piece of braised innards and eat it.

If they insisted on finding out the details and it involved a military order, they would be charged with the crime of spying. They were not that foolish to risk their future for some gossip.


Fu Chen’an didn’t care about what they were thinking and sat on his bed. He didn’t take out the dishes from the food box and ate in silence.
