The book mentioned three supreme generals under the leader of the invaders, named Shadow Demon God.

They were Hellfire Demon Samel, Ghost Demon Araknar, and lastly, Devourer Demon Anaric.

These generals led the invasion forces, wreaking havoc across the world during the ancient war.

But all their focus was on the single name Devourer Demon Anaric; they were all sure it wasn’t a coincidence, and he was definitely the Outer God Anaric they were looking for.

He was just one of the invader generals, and with this discovery, they were finally moving forward with the task. Now that they had uncovered his identity, it became easier to find more information about him. They aimed to learn about his battles, where he died, or anything that might mention the location of his tomb.

Kaleb leaned over the book, his brow furrowed in thought. "If he was one of the top generals, his tomb must be in a significant location—probably somewhere tied to his final battle or the place where his power was strongest."

"That makes sense," Lyra added, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. "But where did he fall? There are so many battlefields in the Fallen God Continent. It could be anywhere."

"We need to focus on where he met his end," Apollo said firmly. "There’s bound to be records of the final battles, especially in a place like this."

They spent the next several hours poring through scrolls and ancient manuscripts, all dating back to the world-destroying war.

Each document they uncovered painted a picture of the invasion, the devastation wrought by the demon generals, and the desperate struggle to fend them off. The death toll had been unimaginable, and countless cities or kingdoms were razed in the blink of an eye.

Finally, Kaleb came across a crucial piece of information. "Here," he called, catching everyone’s attention. "It says Anaric’s forces were defeated during the Battle of the Fallen Sky near the Abyssal Scar."

Apollo’s gaze sharpened. "The Abyssal Scar..." It’s one of the deepest wounds on the continent, created by a rift that was never fully closed after the war.

"It’s a place filled with chaotic energy and ruins," Alyola said. "If his tomb is anywhere, it would be there, hidden beneath layers of destruction and death aura."

The group exchanged glances. The Abyssal Scar was not only dangerous but also filled with powerful entities that thrived in its chaotic environment without order. Most disgusting and weird beings live there, as that place can be said to be a paradise of the lawless.

"Looks like we have our next destination," Kaleb said, standing up. "We’ll gather what we need and head for the Abyssal Scar."

They all nodded in agreement and dispersed to pursue their individual needs. Thankfully, they were in Chaos City, a place filled with countless resources and items that could greatly aid them or help in quickly increasing their strength—resources that couldn’t be found in Rion.

Apollo and Pussy King also went outside to stroll and look for things useful for his growth, especially Apollo, as here he could find large Death attribute-related things that can improve himself.

As they were looking around, Apollo turned his attention to Pussy King, who was still perched comfortably on his shoulders, seemingly enjoying the free ride.

"What do you think about the Tower of Sky? It seems to be sending us to different worlds to complete these kinds of tasks. What does it gain from all this?" Apollo asked with curiosity.

Pussy King, who had been lazily grooming himself with his tongue, paused and glanced at Apollo. "Naturally, it gains something, but you’re not ready to know what that is yet. Just focus on completing the tasks and collecting your rewards to grow stronger. When the time comes, and you’re powerful enough, you’ll understand."

"Ah," he was a bit surprised to hear such words from Pussy King, as it seems to know more than it shows about the Tower of Sky. Exactly what kind of secrets are hidden in it? Knowing this, he tried to ask more, but his mouth was tightly sealed, and he didn’t tell him anything else.

In the end, he had to let it go and focus on his search for rare treasures or resources in Chaos City.

There were a lot of thoughts that were almost impossible to obtain in Rion but were easy to get here in Chaos City.

As he walked past the displays, something unusual caught his eye—a faint, glowing object resting on a dusty shelf. Its aura felt ancient, almost forgotten by time. Intrigued, Apollo couldn’t resist the pull and decided to step inside the shop to investigate further.

When he came and looked closely, it seemed to look like a piece of crown, but it had a weird aura that seemed familiar. But he was sure it was an extraordinary item, for which he decided to buy it even though he didn’t know its use; he believed his instincts.

As Apollo reached out to inspect the strange piece of the Crown with pussy King, who also looked at it with interest, the shopkeeper, a human old man with greying hair and a hunched back, shuffled over. His eyes gleamed with a sharpness that belied his frail appearance. "Ah, you’ve got a good eye, young man. Not many would stop to notice that old relic," he said, his voice gravelly yet somehow inviting.

Apollo turned it over in his hands, the faint glow pulsating gently, as if alive. "What is it?" he asked, glancing at the shopkeeper.

The old man chuckled. "That, my boy, is a remnant from the Crown of the Shadow Demon God, the strongest enemy and leader of the war. They say whoever wears the full crown gains dominion over death itself." He leaned closer, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "Of course, that’s just an old myth. But even a piece of it might have some... interesting effects."

Hearing this, Apollo chuckled, "Shopkeeper, if this really was from the Crown of the Shadow Demon God, even just a piece, could your worn-down shop even contain it? If you’re going to lie, at least make it believable."

The shopkeeper gave a nervous laugh, scratching his head. "Ah, young master, you’re too sharp," he said, dropping the pretence as it seemed the person in front of him wasn’t a young ignorant rich master who didn’t know the world.

"You’re right, it’s not from the Crown itself. But it is a relic from those ancient times, I swear. People come looking for grand stories, so I may have stretched the truth a bit. Still, this artifact holds power—if you know how to unlock it."

The old shopkeeper still didn’t try to sell this stuff and tell how it was found in an ancient place of war and made of unknown material, etc...

He didn’t listen to all that or didn’t care about those lies from where he got this, as he already made up his mind to buy it.

"How much?" Apollo asked.

"Hehe, such a unique item... How about a thousand Life Essence Stones?" The shopkeeper laughed, eyeing Apollo and the Pussy King.

Without a word, Apollo turned and began walking away, unimpressed by the shopkeeper’s outrageous demand.

"Young master, wait!" the shopkeeper called out, panic creeping into his voice. "No, just five hundred... no, a hundred...!" Gritting his teeth, he finally stopped. "Young Lord, fifty! Fifty Life Essence Stones, it’s the lowest I can go."

Apollo paused, glancing back with a raised brow as if considering the offer.

"Okay, deal." And with that, he paid fifty life essence stones and took the piece.
