Chapter 75: First Rank Limit-Breaker(Part-1)Apollo wanted to say something but didn’t say anything, as Old Man Aragon had decided. He could only sigh, steeling his heart for the journey ahead, fraught with dangers and unknown trials.

Master Aaron and the Old Man led the group, with one guarding the front and the other the rear. In the centre stood Apollo and Ragnar.

During their journey, he learned about Ragnar, as he wasn’t that weak. Although he was in his twenties, his strength had reached the peak of a second-rank limit-breaker, only one step away from becoming a third-rank master.

Due to his exceptional talent, he was considered the heir of their family, coveted by his elder sister and numerous cousins who had previously vied for the position.

And if it weren’t for the surprise attack on City Hall, he might have tried to break through. But now he didn’t have time, as he had to run for his life.

He also surprisingly mentioned his confrontation with the traitor, and that might be marked, but Old Man Argon still didn’t back down and promised to lead him outside.

But Apollo felt anxious; he needed to break through the first rank limit-breaker to be on the safer side. So he decided to ask Old Man Argon about it.

"Mr. Aragon, can we first go to a safer place that has traps and can protect us for some time?"

"Why?" Old Man Aragon asked, hearing such a request, and even Master Aaron and Ragnar couldn’t help but look at him.

"I am going to break through the first limit and become a limit-breaker."

Hearing this, all three of them were shocked, but Master Aragon couldn’t help but ask.

"Kid, you have to know that breaking limits isn’t a simple matter and couldn’t be done in minutes; it takes hours and days in some cases to complete the full transformation."

He can understand his apprentice’s eagerness to break through and wanting to become stronger, but it cannot be done hastily, as they didn’t have that much time.

"Don’t worry, master, I have a way to reduce the time taken for the transformation of life level. I only need half an hour to break through."

Hearing this, they were surprised, for others wouldn’t believe it, but Master Aaron knew his apprentice wasn’t ordinary and had secrets. So, in the end, he believed in him but still asked.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Without a fraction of hesitation, he replied with confidence.

Seeing the confidence, both Master Aaron and Old Man Aragon seem to be infected with it.

"All right, we believe in you."

"There is a tunnel a little further, but that seems to have quite a dangerous mechanism and traps. A perfect place for you to break through without any interference."

Old Man Aragon found a place on the map, and then they quickly went in that direction.

Ragnar, on the other hand, was surprised by the unexpected behaviour of both, as they believed in the kid. But now that he sees this, a thought comes to his mind that the magical potion he gave wasn’t from Old Man Aragon but instead was given by the kid.

The realization struck him deeply; he perceived Apollo as shrouded in enigmatic mysteries, unlike any ordinary genius.

He also didn’t waste any more time and quickly followed the trio.

In a few minutes of travelling, they didn’t encounter anyone and, without problem, reached their destination.

Upon coming close, they immediately sensed a stark contrast between this place and the other tunnels they had encountered. An unspoken weight burdened them, hinting at an unsettling presence that eluded precise definition.

"Don’t touch anything, and quietly follow me."

Old Man Argon took the lead and instructed, as he knew how dangerous the traps made by his master could be.

They walked step by step carefully and came to a wall where Old Man Aragon took out a small pin-shaped key and inserted it into the negligibly small cavity in the wall.

Crack! Crack!

Strange noises resonated, reminiscent of a cock and screw grinding to a halt.

And at the end of the corner, they saw a small passage door open.

Apollo and Master Aaron had already adjusted to the weird hobbies of Old Man Aragon and his master. So, they weren’t as surprised as Ragnar. He saw it the first time and held tightly to the key similar to the one through which this place was opened.

"Let’s go."

After that, they entered the passage closed, like there wasn’t anything here, and inside it was a small room, but it was small for the noble standard; for Apollo, it was quite a big room, and there was a back door that led to another tunnel for them to leave quietly.

"Here, you can try to break through the ranks of limit-breakers while outside, no one will be able to notice it."

Old Man Aragon assures him that this place is quite well hidden, as even the walls were coated with special paint, and from outside, whether it was the spirit or life force, they would feel nothing.

Apollo nodded and felt safer here, and now the only thing left was to deal with the things that would increase his spirit and decrease the time of his transformation after his breakthrough.

He quickly opened the system shop and opened the potion section, which was filled with countless potions, and many of them were things that could help him in his current situation.

Previously, he wasn’t interested because there weren’t many creation points on him, and within a few days, he could break through on his own, but the situation changed, and after killing many limit-breakers, his creation points exploded.

So, now he was going to use them to increase his strength quickly. He quickly found the required potion for his breakthrough.

The creation points needed for them weren’t small, as the potion named ’Ice Spirit Enhancer’, one of the cheaper ones that can increase spirit directly, cost two hundred creation points.

And for the potion named ’Gene Stabilizer’ that he needed for quick transformation of his body, it cost him an ass whooping ’800’ creation points.

If he hadn’t killed so many limit-breakers using his environment and half-demon god transformation, he might have needed a lot of time to collect such a large number of creation points.

Apollo immediately bought them, and thousands of creation points immediately disappeared, leaving more than two thousand points.

He didn’t let the potion appear directly; instead, he took it into his storage space ring.

After coming to a corner of the room, he sat down and calmed his mind, while all of them looked at him with interest in what he would do.

He first took out the Ice Spirit Enhancer as he needed to increase his outmost, which seems to be ’50’ points in his case.

And he was very close to it; he only needed a few points. Hopefully, this potion will let him reach his ultimate peak in human form.

Master Aaron and old man Aragon looked surprised to see him take out an unknown milky white potion.

As he opened the bottle, a mysterious energy gushed out of it, making all of their spirits warm. All their tiredness seemed to disappear, and their spirits returned to peak.

Apollo didn’t waste a second and drank it in one gulp.

Gulp!

The potion entered his body, and he immediately felt warm, as if he were bathing in warm water, which seemed to heal all his mental wounds.

The warm energy after that slowly started to increase his spirit, which was steadily increasing ’48’ points to ’49’, and after a few minutes, it reached ’50’.

Boom!

There was an explosion within his body, as he seemed to have felt something had broken through. And no barrier is stopping him now.

His body, on its own, instantly started to break through his first limit, as he was just one step away from a breakthrough, but his spirit was stopping him from taking the final step.

But now, it wasn’t a problem, so a natural breakthrough came to him.

Apollo’s aura spiked, and the entire room seemed to be filled with an icy, cold aura that even made Master Aaron and old man Argon feel chill.

Their bodies started to freeze, and ultimately, they had to use their life force to counter the cold. Ragnar was in a more severe condition, and even after using life force, he still felt cold.

"This!"

Even Master Aaron and Old Man, who were already numbed by Apollo’s shocking talent, couldn’t help but be surprised by the intense aura released by him. It wasn’t something a person who was breaking his first limit could do.

Apollo’s life level was undergoing a radical transformation, as every cell within his body began to voraciously consume energy, akin to a ravenous beast. Within the underground tunnels, the energy within a few miles radius was continuously drawn into him, swallowed without relent.

Yet progress was sluggish, as Apollo sensed it would require a full day to complete the entire transformation. Impatient, he couldn’t afford to wait. Without delay, he retrieved the second potion he had purchased from the system store.
