"Ohh, why shouldn’t I come here?" Apollo said, looking at the powerful, ghostly Flame Clan guy.

The powerful Ghostly Flame clan member paused mid-step, its purple-black aura swirling a little faster, a manifestation of its growing agitation.

"The living do not belong here." The creature’s voice was piercing — not a raw roar, but a calm, deliberate delivery that seemed to seep into the soul itself.

He raised a hand — a withered, bone-like limb wreathed in purple-black fire — and drew a rune in the air. The rune glowed faintly before fading, a barrier of power locking down the space in a way that even someone of Apollo’s ability would feel its resistance.

As the rune above started to glow more, a hidden barrier around the land seemed to disappear slowly, and a brand new world seemed to appear in front of them. But the hidden realm wasn’t bright and full of energy; instead, it was filled with death and abyssal energy that seemed to corrode any life forms, even the gods.

Apollo narrowed his eyes, extending his senses forward. The moment the barrier fell, a rush of death energy washed toward him — a barren, oppressive aura that gnawed at his flesh, his divine energy, even his soul.

He tightened his grip, letting the gold-and-black Sovereign Flames within him slowly seep out to form a shimmering barrier of their own — a barrier forged from pure dominance — keeping the death energy from overtaking him.

Before him, the hidden world opened up in its full, awful glory, a vast landscape of obsidian formations, barren stones, and pools of black liquid that glimmered faintly with purple-black fire. The skies above were thick with thunderous clouds made entirely of death energy, their rumbles a chorus of eternal suffering.

The power of purple flames filled with death and abyssal power continued to rise, as now it seemed to be backed by the entire hidden realm.

And because of it, the power and destructiveness of the purple flames seemed to surpass the true god realm and reach the eternal god realm.

The runic formation covering the entire Rion seemed to awaken, and terrifying power seemed to gather around them, controlling and suppressing the terrifying flames. But the flames still with terrifying power attacked Apollo and his guard.

This attack was something dangerous, as it seemed to also have some weird rule power within it that he had never seen before. In fact, it was similar to the weird dark power which the traitor of the Hall of Hell used in Sanctum.

Just like that power, it also seemed to be not from their universe. So he had to be a bit careful not to fall prey to this mysterious power.

His Black and Gold sovereign flames burnt with the power of fire rules and rules of destruction. The combination of these two rules along with the terrifying sovereign flames seemed to create a black sun with a golden glow within it.

It was an unbelievable phenomenon that seemed to shake all the runic formations surrounding Rion.

The two powers—the purple eternal flame backed by an entire hidden world and Apollo’s manifestation forged by his understanding of the highest fire and destruction’s pure form—collided with a thunderous shockwave. The heavens above trembled. The earth itself began to crack.

Even after their attack collided, the black sun continued to burn, but that wasn’t the end, as it seemed to swallow the purple flames and, in fact, started to become stronger.

"What!" The Ghostly Flame Clan’s powerful elder’s expression changed as it seemed to feel horror from the depths of his soul. The purple flames around which can corrode heaven and earth seemed to tremble now seemed to be trembling like it met its natural predator.

"Hmm, it looks like you are afraid." Apollo felt the fear of the Ghostly Flame Clan’s warrior, but he didn’t have any intention to stop, as after swallowing these flames from the Ghostly Flame Clan, the sovereign flames seemed to be becoming stronger.

He even had a feeling if it swallowed the entire flame of this ghostly flame clan warrior, it might have some earthshaking changes in it. So naturally he wouldn’t stop; instead, he increased the intensity of his flames.

The flames continued to burn and devour the land; even the other weak, ghostly flame clan members were also caught in it and were completely swallowed and burnt within it.

The powerful ghostly flame clan warrior tried to sever his connection, tried to sever the flow of power that anchored him to his purple flame, but it was already too late. His fate was sealed — the Black Sun was consuming him from the inside out.

Apollo’s grip tightened, his will firm and unyielding. His Black Sovereign Flames grew denser, more profound, until sparks of gold glimmered within their obsidian core. The purple flames faltered and then fell silent, their resistance fading in a matter of breaths.

The last traces of the ghostly clan’s warriors screamed as their forms disintegrated, adding their power to Apollo’s growing manifestation. The barren landscape began to warp under the pressure — formations shattered, stones turned to ashes, and the very earth trembled.

The moment his flames swallowed the ghostly flame clan warrior, a burst of energy exploded within him as the power of the sovereign flames increased many times, and mysteries of the rule of fire and destruction started to appear in his mind.

The feeling of enlightenment made his understanding of these two rules increase rapidly.

In a matter of moments, his rule of destruction broke through the third layer, while his rule of fire broke through the third layer directly from the first layer.

The sudden increase made his strength stronger, but he didn’t have the chance to feel excited as the hidden secret realm started to show movements.
