Chapter 428 - 428: Dangers Within God Ruins (Part-2)

Finally seeing that his pack cannot overwhelm the group of warriors, the leader werewolf, who seemed to have reached the Eternal God realm, made his move.A low, wild growl rumbled from his throat like thunder echoing in a deep cavern. The air around him twisted as violent energy erupted from his massive body. His blood-red claws gleamed with killing intent, and a suffocating pressure spread across the battlefield.

"Grrraaaaahhh!"

With a single step, the ground beneath his feet shattered into a web of countless cracks. His speed was terrifying—one instant he stood behind his pack, the next he was in front of the human warriors, tearing through the air like a crimson streak of death.

Seeing this, the middle-stage eternal god of sacred light stepped forward to intercept the werewolf leader.

A blinding golden light flared around him as holy energy surged like a tidal wave. He stepped forward without hesitation, planting his foot down with the force of a descending sun.

"I'll handle him!" He declared, his voice cutting through the chaos around them.

Light gathered around his hands, forming a radiant spear forged from pure divine essence. The surrounding battlefield dimmed for a moment as the two titans faced each other—beast and god, predator and protector.

BOOM!ernal god-level monster.

Lucifer dusted his sleeves, expression steady and composed.

"Now that this is settled, we continue," he commanded, as if the battle had been nothing but a minor delay.

No one objected. No one dared to.

Silently, they followed his lead once more.

Apollo walked alongside them, his steps unhurried, eyes calm—but his thoughts were anything but.

From the very moment they entered the God Ruins, he had sensed something subtle yet undeniable:

Lucifer wasn't wandering blindly. The Sacred Light Empire had come with a destination in mind.

They were guiding the entire group along a predetermined path… toward something only they knew existed.

A secret land?

A hidden inheritance?

Or something far more dangerous?

Apollo's gaze narrowed, a faint gleam dancing within his pupils.

"So… You already know where you're going. Interesting."

He kept the thought to himself. There was no benefit in revealing suspicion—not yet. For now, he would watch.
