204: Chapter 202 Wino's Wholehearted Purchasing of Machine Tools

After returning to Blue Star, among the five people who went home, Wino was probably the busiest.

First, he contacted Klaisi to build some rapport, and the next day he had to busy himself with finding machine tools, but searching alone was too inefficient.

Moreover, his funds were extremely tight.

Although he had saved up a lot of money working for Suleiman over the years—Suleiman's style of action was somewhat brutal, but he was never stingy with rewards and compensation for his subordinates.

But to buy machine tools, especially the various types used in different industries, his savings clearly weren't enough.

It wasn't that there weren't cheap ones; one could be bought for tens of thousands, but Wino didn't have the courage to pass off inferior goods as high quality.

What if the Administrator could see the value of the machine tools?

Wino was determined to get that Owl that released the mushroom cloud, so he wouldn't allow any accidents to happen.

But a penny could stump a hero; not wanting to make his goals known to everyone, Wino finally sought out Suleiman, his nominal boss.

As for why he didn't seek out the Queen.

Unlike the simple-minded Leon and the others, the Queen had subdued them with just a couple of moves, making them loyal.

Wino, who was well-versed in such matters, understood that the Queen was by no means as amiable as the impression given by their several encounters.

Even before she regained her youth, she could still keep Prince Suleiman firmly in the position of "Crown Prince" for decades.

To say this could be done by an innocent little white rabbit—not only did Wino not believe it, but after understanding the facts even slightly, no one would believe it.

Therefore, compared to the Queen whose schemes were of unknown depth, he was more willing to cooperate with the familiar Suleiman.

Not wasting any time, once again because of his empty pockets, he walked out of the gate of a company selling machinery and immediately hailed a car to rush to Suleiman's suburban palace.

The Guard on duty at the gate had never changed, so they naturally recognized Wino.

Seeing him, they didn't ask much, turning to report to the fixed intercom embedded in the door frame.

"Mr. Wino, you may go in."

"Thank you."

Expressing his gratitude to the Guard, Wino followed the sunlit corridor he had walked many times, passed through the garden and the foyer, and arrived at the main building's hall where Suleiman lived.

Suleiman seemed to always like choosing the main building's hall to meet acquaintances.

Never having seen him host other guests, Wino couldn't figure out the reason for this and shook his head inwardly, setting the matter aside.

"Prince Suleiman, good day."

"You seem to have been busy with something lately—oh, I heard it from my mother." Suleiman, flipping through a magazine, questioned with his head down.

Suleiman knew his movements on Blue Star like the back of his hand; Wino didn't find it strange, but there was a bit of trepidation.

It was probably an instinct formed by long-term training under Suleiman.

It had nothing to do with the Administrator or the matter of purchasing machine tools; he had already prepared his excuse.

But standing before Suleiman, his calves still trembled a bit.

Quietly swallowing, Wino endured his involuntary panic, his voice as steady as possible: "I've made some surprising discoveries at Hogwarts.

But the specifics still need verification, so I was thinking..."

Full of loopholes and obviously a perfunctory excuse, yet Wino wasn't worried about Suleiman getting angry.

He knew his boss very well.

As long as he was still useful to Suleiman and hadn't made any fundamental errors—like cuckolding him or something—Suleiman would take whatever out he was given.

Sure enough, things didn't go beyond his expectations.

Suleiman nodded in understanding: "So, have you verified it clearly now?"

"Not yet, I've run into some difficulties."

Smiling, Suleiman understood why he had come to find him: "Recount what happened."

To be honest, if the boss were a bit more lenient with his subordinates, Wino would be quite satisfied with his job.

He acted decisively, never dragged his feet, didn't dwell on things that were past and irreversible, and only focused on how to solve problems.

Most importantly, he didn't hold those long meetings that made your bladder feel like it was going to explode from holding it in, while only talking nonsense.

Where else could you find such a good leader, right?

Thinking this, Wino recounted meeting the Administrator, how they deepened their relationship, what his hobbies were, what benefits there were, including various details during their conversation.

Except for the matter of the Owl, he didn't hide anything.

"Before leaving school for the holidays, I noticed the Administrator seemed very interested in machine tools, so..."

"So you're thinking of using machine tools to trade with the Administrator when school starts again?"

"Yes, Your Highness."

Not doubting whether he was lying, Suleiman, sitting on the living room sofa, closed the magazine: "Have you considered the transportation issue?

High-end industrial machine tools, even mother machines—many of those devices are huge. How will you take them to Hogwarts?

Besides, machine tools are one of the jewels of modern human civilization. Do they have other..."

"Your Highness." Wino, standing across from the sofa, looked up, "You've seen Mr. Dumbledore's elusive nature with your own eyes.

I think you must have checked with information gathering equipment, but gained nothing, right?"

Suleiman remained silent, which was a silent admission.

"If Hogwarts wanted to obtain some secret human equipment, no one could Guard against or stop them."

The words and reasoning were already very clear; Suleiman had no reason to refute them.

Turned and asked: "The potion my mother took..."

"The Administrator told me that in his hands, that kind of potion is just a worthless little toy."

His breathing grew heavy for a moment, but then, a strange thought popped into Suleiman's mind.

He had been sitting in the position of Prince, longing for the throne for decades.

Now that his mother had become young again, if he followed suit and regained his youth, wouldn't that mean... he'd have to live through those decades all over again?

Wino didn't know the inexplicable worry in his heart.

Looking at Suleiman's fluctuating expression, he wondered if he had said something wrong.

After a while, Suleiman snapped out of it and asked: "You still haven't told me how you'll take them to Hogwarts."

"This." Taking a wooden whistle out of his pocket, Wino explained, "I expressed similar concerns to the Administrator.

So he gave me this wooden whistle and said that as long as I blow it, he will appear."

Taking it and holding it in his palm to examine it, Suleiman asked: "If I blow it now..."

"Uh, Your Highness, the Administrator's temper isn't very good. If we call him here for no reason, something might happen to us."

Hesitating for a long time, he ultimately didn't have the courage to try it and handed the whistle back to Wino: "The machine tools you want, I'll prepare them for you.

Give it a day; tomorrow night, come to my castle."

Insisting on delivery at the castle was clearly because Suleiman wanted to see the wizard and, incidentally, prevent Wino from playing any tricks in private.

"No problem."

With the biggest trouble resolved, Wino gave a respectful bow in excitement, then walked further and further away under the bewildered gaze of the Guard on duty at the gate.

After he left, Suleiman lay on the sofa contemplating for a while, called the butler to bring a phone, and issued a series of orders.
