105: Two giants join forces to exert pressure

The news of Gabriel being exploded by a single punch swept through the highest levels of Eden and Valhalla like a Category 12 superstorm within just a few short hours.

Eden, the summit of the holy White Great Tower.

When the two surviving female angels finished recounting the events, tearful and incoherent, the entire council fell into a deathly silence.

Atop the throne, the figure shrouded in Holy Light known as "God" experienced a violent energy fluctuation for the first time.

"A single punch... annihilated Gabriel along with his 'Holy Light Core'?"

"God's" voice was no longer calm, filled with unbelievable shock.

He knew Gabriel's strength best; even among S-Rank Peaks, he was a standout. To be able to insta-kill him so nonchalantly, the opponent's strength had already far exceeded their scope of understanding.

"SSS-Rank... no, perhaps even beyond SSS-Rank!" a white-haired elder concluded with a trembling voice.

"He said... for us to go there and kneel?" Another council member's face was filled with humiliation and anger. "This is the most malicious insult to Eden!"

"Insult? What else do you want? Send the 'Divine Punishment' Legion to their deaths?"

A fierce argument broke out in the council, but everyone understood that in the face of such incomprehensible power, any resistance was futile.

Meanwhile, in Valhalla of the far north, within the frozen Hall of Glory, the atmosphere was equally heavy to the extreme.

On the throne, the "Odin" who was as majestic as a giant bear listened to the report sent back by the scout from the west of Dragon City, his face so dark it looked like it could drip water.

"Invincible in the East has submitted, Gabriel was killed by a single punch... a mysterious supreme expert has appeared in Dragon City."

Odin tapped the armrest of the throne with his thick fingers, a contemplative light flashing in his golden eyes.

He was more direct than that group of hypocrites in Eden and worshipped power more.

"If he can kill Gabriel with one punch, he can certainly split my 'Valhalla Hall' with one axe," Odin said in a deep voice. "This person is someone we cannot afford to provoke."

"King! Are we, the warriors of Valhalla, going to bow our heads to some guy of unknown origin?" a one-eyed general roared unwillingly.

"This isn't bowing; it's survival." Odin gave him a cold look. "And, perhaps we don't have to kneel."

He stood up, his massive frame bringing a powerful sense of pressure.

"Immediately contact that 'charlatan' from Eden. Tell him Valhalla is willing to temporarily set aside our disputes to face this crisis together. With our two sides joined, I don't believe that guy would dare to make enemies of both our great powers at once!"

Odin's idea was simple and practical.

No matter how strong an individual's power is, it is ultimately limited.

Eden and Valhalla were the two most powerful survivor factions in the world, possessing the most advanced technological weapons and the most S-Rank Experts.

The power represented by the two of them combined was enough to make anyone wary.

They didn't seek to defeat that mysterious man, only to obtain the status for an equal dialogue and preserve their territory and dignity.

Soon, the two giants reached a consensus.

A day later, a joint diplomatic mission composed of Eden and Valhalla arrived at Dragon City aboard the most advanced Floating Airship.

The representatives of the mission were Michael, another Archangel of Eden, and Hogan, the one-eyed general of Valhalla.

When they walked into the Council Hall of the Dragon City Lord's Mansion, they were immediately shocked by the scene before them.

Sitting on the main seat of the hall was precisely the young man in green robes described in the dossiers.

And the former master of Dragon City, Invincible in the East, was actually standing respectfully by the young man's side like a servant, waiting with hands down.

On both sides of the hall stood rows of Dragon City generals, each with their heads bowed, not daring to breathe loudly. The atmosphere of the entire hall was suppressed to the extreme.

Michael and Hogan exchanged a glance, both seeing gravity in the other's eyes.

"Respected expert," Michael spoke first, trying his best to keep his tone neither humble nor arrogant. "I represent Eden, and General Hogan represents Valhalla; we have come to negotiate with you."

Chu He leaned back on the throne, not even bothering to lift his eyelids, only giving a faint "Mhm."

Hogan had a more direct temperament. He stepped forward and said in a deep voice, "Your Excellency, we acknowledge your strength. However, Eden and Valhalla are the last sparks of human civilization on this wasteland, and we possess ultimate weapons capable of destroying everything on the surface."

He paused and emphasized his tone: "If you insist on being our enemy, then we will not hesitate to initiate the 'Final Protocol' and return the entire world to Chaos! When that time comes, no one will benefit!"

This was their trump card and their greatest reliance.

Mutual destruction.

They gambled that even if the opponent was strong, he wouldn't want to end up with a scarred and worthless planet.

Hearing these threatening words, Chu He finally opened his eyes.

He looked at the two messengers below, who were fierce in appearance but weak at heart, and suddenly laughed.

That smile was filled with undisguised mockery and disdain.

"Ultimate weapons? Destroying the surface?"

Chu He slowly stood up from the throne and shook his head, the smile on his face deepening.

"Truly... pitiful ants."

"You have no idea what true power is."

"Very well, I shall let you give up all hope."

Chu He's gaze seemed to penetrate the dome of the Council Hall, looking toward the endless starry sky.

"Destroying a planet? You don't have that ability."

"But..."

"I do."
