182: Divine soldiers descended from the sky, leaving the demon general stunned.

Blackstone Star.

Just as its name implied, this was a massive planet composed of black rock. Not a single blade of grass grew on its surface; only rows of sky-piercing black spires rose like hideous fangs, stabbing straight into the firmament.

These spires were the Demon Race's Demonic Energy crystal collectors.

They delved deep into the planet's core, frantically extracting its final Origin energy and converting it into the Demonic Energy crystals required for the Demon Race's wars.

In the planet's synchronous orbit, a massive flesh fortress was slowly rotating.

This was the guard base of Blackstone Star.

Inside the base's main hall, the tall Demon General "Fenrir," who possessed a giant wolf's head, was listening to his subordinate's report with an impatient expression.

"...Reporting to the General, this month's production of Demonic Energy crystals has reached 300,000 standard units, exceeding the target." A Demon officer at the Soul Transformation Stage said respectfully.

"I know, I know. Is there anything else? If not, get out." Fenrir waved his furry claws, appearing somewhat distracted.

He had been in a very bad mood lately.

Because just a month ago, he had received an emergency mobilization order from the front-line commander-in-chief, the Blood Slaughter Demon King, instructing him to immediately assemble his troops and head to the Blood Slaughter Star Domain for support.

But before he could set out, the signal from the Blood Slaughter Star Domain was completely cut off.

No matter how he tried to make contact, it was like a stone sinking into the ocean—there was no news at all.

An ominous premonition loomed over his heart.

To make an Integration Realm Great Perfection Devil King, along with the entire front-line base, vanish without a sound... what kind of terrifying event had occurred behind the scenes?

Was it a surprise attack by another Universe civilization? Or... had an enemy of the Devil Emperor come looking for trouble?

Fenrir didn't dare think any further.

He now only wanted to stay peacefully in his own territory and pray that the unknown disaster would not affect him.

Just as his mind was wandering, the space in the center of the hall suddenly distorted violently without any warning.

Immediately following that, a giant gateway a hundred zhang tall, shimmering with brilliant starlight, appeared out of thin air!

"W-what is that?!"

Fenrir suddenly stood up from his throne, looking at the suddenly appearing star gate with a face full of horror.

Before he could even react, two figures stepped out from the star gate.

Leading them was a handsome young man dressed in a black robe with golden dragon patterns. His eyes were one gold and one grey, emitting a contradictory yet terrifying aura.

In his hand, he carried a black spear that was simple in design yet radiated an endless aura of annihilation.

Behind him was a burly man nearly three meters tall with knotted muscles, his whole body radiating explosive power.

On his shoulder, he carried a pitch-black giant axe that was even larger than his entire body.

These two were Chu Tian and Chu Batian, who had teleported directly into the enemy's nest through the star gate!

"Oh? It seems our luck is pretty good, teleporting directly into the BOSS room."

Chu Batian looked at the dazed wolf-headed Demon General on the throne and grinned, revealing his pearly white teeth.

"Great Perfection of Soul Transformation Stage. His aura is quite strong; he's perfect for sharpening my axe!"

"Big brother, this one is mine. You don't mind, right?" Chu Batian turned his head and looked at Chu Tian.

Chu Tian didn't speak, only using his gold and grey heterochromatic eyes to calmly sweep over the other Demon Race members in the hall.

In the hall, besides Fenrir, there were more than ten other Demon Generals at the Soul Transformation Stage.

Chu Tian's meaning was clear: the big one is yours, and I'll take care of the rest of the small fry.

"Alright!" Having received tacit permission, Chu Batian roared with excitement. His massive body turned into a cannonball as he charged directly at Fenrir on the throne.

"E-enemy attack! Protect the General!"

Only then did the other Demon Generals in the hall wake up as if from a dream. They one after another summoned their magic treasures, wanting to intercept Chu Batian.

However, a gold and grey Domain quietly expanded at that moment.

Chaos Annihilation Domain!

All the Demon Race members enveloped by the Domain felt their demonic essence circulation instantly become incredibly sluggish, their strength suppressed by more than thirty percent out of thin air.

Meanwhile, Chu Tian's figure appeared in the middle of those Demon Generals like a teleportation.

The chaos annihilation dragon spear in his hand transformed into countless spear shadows.

"Puchi! Puchi! Puchi!"

A series of sounds of flesh being pierced rang out.

Those Soul Transformation Stage Demon Generals, who were enough to dominate a region in the outside world, were like lambs to the slaughter before Chu Tian. They couldn't even withstand a single move before their hearts were pierced one by one by the ruthless spear tip and their Primordial Spirits were crushed.

In just a few breaths' time, there was not a single standing Demon Race member in the hall except for Fenrir.

On the other side, Chu Batian had also rushed in front of Fenrir.

"Damned bugs! Who on earth are you?!"

Fenrir was both shocked and angry. He roared, and pitch-black demonic light lit up on his giant wolf claws as he slapped down fiercely at Chu Batian.

"Your grandpa's name is Chu Batian!"

Chu Batian laughed wildly. Without dodging, he directly raised the sky-opening tyrant axe in his hand and hacked down at the giant wolf claw!

Boom!

As the fist and claw collided, a deafening explosion erupted.

The violent airwaves blew away the entire main hall.

Under Fenrir's disbelieving gaze, his wolf claw, which was enough to shatter mountains, was actually split open from the middle by the opponent's axe, leaving it bloody and mangled!

Chu Batian's figure only swayed slightly before he closed in once again.

"Just this much strength? It's not even enough to scratch my itch!"

The giant axe in his hand turned into black whirlwinds, crazily greeting Fenrir's body in an unreasonable manner.

For a time, above the entire base, only the loud clanging of weapons and Fenrir's roars, mixed with pain and anger, remained.
